.

I heard a drip in my apartment for about 2 months that maintenance refused to acknowledge. After they finally fixed the problem they failed to check the A/C and vents to make sure that everything was running properly. I had some people over to help me move out a few months later and we were all astonished - once everything was removed and in the sunlight it was obvious that my entire apartment was covered in black mold. Everything had to be drycleaned because it had all turned black and things that should never have turned black (like my refrigerator!) were completely gray/black, with white spots where the pictures had been. I hadn't been able to see any of it because the lighting inside was so bad, but when we removed everything it was SO gross. I notified the management after my move - and they told us that mold was common in Houston and I highly doubt they did anything to clean the vents in my apartment after I left. They seemed unconcerned about the issue and charged me a ton of money to clean my carpet and the apartment -- which were dirty from...black mold.

I will say the office staff was usually very nice and helpful...

Also, the apartments changes ownership and are now Metro Midtown.
