This is my story-We just switched insurance at work so first I chose Castle Dental. My 21 yr old son went there for a cleaning. You have to schedule x-ray and exam then go make another appt for cleaning. They said he needed a deep cleaning

I am not a big fan of the dentist but they made me feel really comfortable and they were very kind. The dentist gave me ample Novocain in the right spots and she was very patient.\n

This office was so nice, neat, and friendly. From the ladies at the front desk, to the Hygienist and assistants. This is the first time a Hygienist was able to motivate me to keep up with my teeth and to make sure I keep all follow up appointments.\n

The experience was great, from the assistants in the front desk to the Doctor and hygienists they were all so polite and professional that they deserve all the compliments one can give. And the Doctor is so educated and well trained! i never thought a root canal treatment could be painless! flawless technique! congratulations to all! and the costs are so much more reasonable than anywhere else\n

This is the worst place ever. First they screwed up my root canal for which they charged me an arm and a leg. It was just not the root canal but also the crown which they insisted on which costed a fortune. The root canal was all done wrong and the crown was not placed in right position.\n1 year later I was still in pain, in comes a new doctor and sends me off to an endodontist for retreatment of the root canal they screwed up.\nI was still ok and I asked for my documents to take to the endodontist. I called for 1 entire week but no response. All they had to do was copy the records and the x-rays and give it to me. I was ready to hand pick them. When I finally called them, the lady at the front desk Maureen yelled at me, called me names and hung up on me.\nNow I am a physician myself and I know my rights as a patient. I am seriously considering a lawsuit and needless to say I am not going back to this horrible horrible place.\nIf not good dentistry they need to learn good manners to behave with patients.

I had several very positive visits to this dental clinic, and specifically with Dr. Abraham. Several months later, my wife was told by the office staff that Dr. Abraham had left and that they are waiting for a new dentist.\r\n\r\nAfter waiting for many weeks, my wife tried to make a needed dental appointment and was told that they still did not have a dentist on site and was told to ""do whatever you need to do!""\r\n\r\nI certainly cannot recommend this practice any longer, especially with such horrendous customer service.

I disagree with some of the reviews. I needed a root canal treatment and was terrified about it. the dentist was very patient and gentle and I didn't have any pain during or after the procedure. the assistants also are friendly.

I have a tooth that is very slightly discolored from my other teeth. The only people who ever notice are dentists. My dentist in my home town told me not to worry, that no treatment was needed and that it was actually a very healthy tooth. When I went to Castle Dental, the denist, the hygenist and the front office manager aggressively pushed me to get a $900 veneer. After I refused, the dentist gave it another try the second time I went to their office. She basically threatened me that it was going to turn gray and I was going to be ugly. This after another, much more trusted dentist, told me it was more of a risk to my healthy tooth to get a veneer than it was to leave it alone.\n\nThe front desk is also unprofessional. One of them was in the restroom on her cell phone screaming profanities. You could hear her in the waiting room.

I agree with some of the reviews writen about Castle on Kirby. They are a rip off and they wanted me to complete a deep cleaning before they could perform the regular cleaning every 6 months. Find another dentist before considering this location.

This place is a rip-off. The front desk girls are the most incompetent ppl I've ever seen. This place will also rip you off. I have dental insurance and only needed cleaning. This place tells me I need a deep cleaning and the charge would be $400. They told me I would need the $400 deep cleaning before they would do the regular cleaning my insurance would pay for. DO NOT GO to this place unless you want to have you money taken from you. Would never recomend this place.

The last straw was when I went in for my appointment and the front office staff told me I was 10 minutes late and said I had to reschedule. By my watch, I was only 5 minutes late, but she insisted it was 10 minutes. I think my cell phone clock is more accurate than the $10 clock they have on the wall. Regardless of whether it was 5 minutes or 10 minutes, it is still ridiculous that they would make me reschedule. I was also told that the doctor was running late. So then why does it matter if I'm 5 minutes late? Wouldn't I have had to wait anyway? When I pointed this out, they just went into their usual robot mode and just repeatedly said ""the doctor is running late,"" you're 10 minutes"". Whenever I go here, I always expect about a 5 or 10 minute wait and never raised a stink about it so I thought it was truly ridiculous that they would make me reschedule. This place has wasted my time too many times. I will never go back to this place!
