I wish I could give less than 1 star. We moved 5 blocks down the road on the same street. When they sent someone out to give us a price for the move, they failed to ask whether or not we were moving into a two story house. We accepted their price and on the day we all took off work to move, they informed us that they need another $600 because it was a two story house. We refused and said we were going to call another mover but there were none available on such short notice. We renegotiated and paid another $300. We had so much damaged furniture it was not even funny. I guess the owner figured he would ge the extra $300 one way or another. There were two doors coming into a certain living area. One was 32" and the other was 36". They crammed our $6,000 leather living room set through the 32" entrance. this is pretty tough leather, yet they managed to put rips in it. One can understand the occasional accident from a moving company, but blatant out right damage to several of our pieces of furniture is very bad. If the owner of this company can cause his employees to destroy someone??s furniture, there is no telling what all they are capable of. I know that if I were an employee, I would refuse to do such a thing.
