A school doesn't rise or fall on one teacher. I happen to be very acquainted with two of these bad reports. First Bob S. is tied to 4 students, who were caught cheating in their High School class. The Principal took over the class and informed them they would be given a semester final, suddenly they switched schools. This school follows texas licensing guide lines and holds high standards. Kid's will be kid's, but when a good school finds out, they take steps to correct it. This school for 22 yrs has had a good record and good reports from Texas State Licencing and ACTS.

I have 3 kids that attended FCA for 6yrs. My last graduated from FCA 2yrs ago. Each of my kids received multiple academic scholarships starting with San Jacinto College, then University of Houston and now my oldest is at Baylor on a large scholarship. We were relocating here from Louisiana, Hurricane Rita. The first two years Mrs. Duvall was my oldest two kids (boy & girl) teacher. She was the greatest teacher they ever had. They were academic behind and hated math. Anyone that knows Mrs. Duvall knows she Loves Math, and helps Kids love Math. She has a way of running her Learning Center structured ??but exciting and fun. She had a one on one relationship with each student in the school, ??and she was the High School Teacher and the Principal. The 1st year at FCA there was 155 students !

I sat on the Parent Advisory Board 3 of the 6yrs we were there. The first year I was a part of the Parent Advisory Board I learned about the foundation of the FCA Scholarship Fund. This Scholarship Fund was created by a burning passion that every family should have the opportunity to have their student take part in a quality education that teaches Strong Academics with Values and Character. The Scholarship Fund was not made up of corporate donations. Instead, Mrs. Duvall decided to create the fund from within. She took 15-20% (Dollar amount) of the tuition income and allotted that amount to be given back out in the form of scholarship money to parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Duvall have a love and dedication to kids for all walks of live. Yes, your right?.they have no tolerance for teachers that don??t want to teacher, and just draw a check or TEACH a TEST.

I will give my name: Doris Jackson

The name of this school sounds great, but it is far from that. I had my child there for only a short time and was shocked at what I saw. The "teachers" in the toddlers had no real previous experience or education in this area. The "teachers" change weekly it seems, giving the children no stability. They don't use any type of learning program at all, they are taught the basic things, but other than that it is a huge play time. Children cannot bring anything to sleep with; they are on bare cots and their "blanket" is nothing more than a towel!!! They say they are a gated facility, but you can drive by most any time and see the gate is open - allowing children to escape alone. I have been called repeatedly to pick up my "sick child" only to go home and see that there is no fever or diarrhea, like they said there was. I do not know what kind of scam they are trying to pull off, but I was relieved to take my child out of there. On more than one occasion when I picked my child up at the end of the day, their diaper would be so soaked that their clothes would also be wet. The principal is so busy yelling at her staff instead of showing them how to do things correctly or commending them on a job well done. I took my child in late one day and they were doing a fire drill. God help them if they ever have a real fire because only 2 people trying to get all of those toddlers out by themselves was crazy! And even in the little baby room was worse. This whole school is a disaster just waiting to happen, which is very unfortunate.

I started taking my daughter there at 13 months. This was her 4th daycare (I have high standards) and within the first week, she learned how to say and point to two words that she had never know before. They feed them good, nutritious food that is not fried, only baked. The staff is very loving towards my child.
