1. Reference Castle Dental, 2511 Trimmier Road, Suite 170 Killeen, TX 76542, 254-501-3234. Castle Dental of Killeen, TX is a very unorganized and unprofessional business. My family consists of my wife and my 7 year old son. We plan to look elsewhere for a new dentist. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and American Federation of Government Employees, Local 1920.

2. On 9 Nov 11, 1500 hrs, I had an appointment scheduled at Castle Dental to have two fillings replaced. On 8 Nov 11, I received a message from Celia at Castle Dental requesting confirmation of my appointment. I made two calls to confirm my appointment. The first call I left a message confirming my appointment. The second call I spoke to a real person and confirmed my appointment. On 9 Nov 11, 1330 hrs, I received a message from Jessica at Castle
Dental. Jessica said my appointment needs to be canceled because the doctor was leaving early. The next available appointment was on 22 Nov 11. I told Jessica the same thing happened the last time I was in there only I had received no
message. I told Jessica to remove my name from their rolls.

3. On 25 Oct 11, 1530 hrs, I arrived on time for my appointment at Castle Dental. I was told a message was left on our telephone changing my appointment to 1500 hrs. This was total BS! No message was left and this is not the first time they have changed our appointments without notification.

Ok, my first problem is with their staff. When I came to them, I had about 12 cavities in my mouth of varying sizes and in pain. I am a military wife, so we do not get paid much. After an appointment, I inquired about how I could get a line of credit with them since they had a poster clearly displayed in their waiting room. I was told I could not get one with them, I would have to go home and go to a website and apply. I got her to finally tell me this after she tried to tell me I was wrong for about 10 minutes and I was reading the wrong poster when I was pointing directly at the poster about a credit card!!!! She kept telling me I needed to pay them about $200 I think right then and I explained to her that we are a military family and I do not have enough money at this time but I will pay with credit card when I get it. I did not need her attitude.
Also, my problem with the dentist is he never spent enough time with me, and did not fully explain everything to me. I told him I wanted to save every tooth that I could, since I have a large cavity in my 2nd molar. He said it would probably be needed to be removed and made no mention of it being saveable. I arrived at an appointment with the oral surgeon to remove my wisdom teeth and asked if I could maybe get my 2nd molar removed instead. They said they couldn't do that since they would need approval which is fine, but the oral surgeon said that on my records it stated that my 2nd molar was saveable with a large filling.
These are my issues with them. In general I feel they are more interested in making money than making sure that customers feel they are being taken care of in the best hands. And every time I show up on time for a scheduled appointment, I have to wait literally 45 minutes each time to be seen. And I do not have a drivers license and my husband is deployed, so I have to rely on friends to drive me so of course this causes problems for me.
