I had an appointment at 6:30pm when I got there it was packed, when I checked in at the front desk the lady told us to go ahead and get dressed, once we did we waited a while and finally told another lady at the front desk we were ready and she informed us that there were still 4 appointments ahead of us, by this time it was already 7:15pm. When I asked how long it would take she couldn't give me a definite answer but I overheard other customers talking and one lady had an appointment at 6pm and was still waiting, not to mention there was nowhere for us to sit down. The lady at the front desk told us we would have to come back in like an hour or so and told us to go to the mall or something and they would call when they were ready.

We ended up having to cancel because one of my cousins taking pictures had to be back at work in Azle and wasted his 2 hour break to come take pictures that never happened. I had not planned on spending the rest of my evening at the studio and did not appreciate their lack of tact or promptness. This was the Saturday before Easter and apparently every day before a holiday is busy because that was the excuse I kept getting. However, in a business where you book appointments and set times for every customer there is no way you should get that backed up unless you don't know what you are doing or you overbook to be greedy. This is not fair to the customers who pay good money for portraits and receive less than crappy customer service, they could have at least given me a courtesy call to let me know they were behind and I could have finished my other errands prior to driving there. They asked if I wanted to reschedule for the following Tuesday and I turned them down, I have a job just like they do and I set aside that time and date because that was when I was available. Needless to say I was very dissatisfied with my experience here and have never witnessed such unprofessional behavior. I asked for the manager's contact info and called the following Tuesday but she was "unavailable" and I'm still waiting for her to return my call almost 3 weeks later.

I went to portrait innovations for my son's one year birth day photos and will never go back. We got some great pictures, but if you're not willing to spend at least $100.00 right then and there then the pictures you don't take home with you, you will never see again. I expected them to at least keep the photos on file for future orders, or give us a sample sheet with proofs of the pictures to show family who may want to order some pictures. And to top it off when the sales person (same person who took the pictures realized we weren't willing to drop $300.00 he got very short and obviously upset. I told him which two we wanted to take with us, but he made me sit there and tell him "no" to each and every picture, and kept saying, "so you don't want this one?" over and over. I told him I wanted the pictures, but it wasn't in our budget. The entire experience was dissapointing, uncomfortable, and we will not be going back.

Portrait Innovations is the place to go for family pictures especially if you have small children. They work to get the perfect poses no matter how long it takes. You get the pictures same day and the prices are cheap.
