I look forward to my lash appts during the month. It is very relaxing, the stylists are talkative and make you feel welcome and they now have airbrush tanning!! Alexis is wonderful and always sends reminders for you appts! Its a great atmosphere and they do a wonderful job making my lashes look amazing! I have and will send referrals any chance I get .

After searching for a place to get my first pair of extensions I spoke to some of their clients who have never made a change since their first set. The shop has changed names, and 'stylists' even during current ownership. After going to their website with their existing clients, I saw the prices, called for an appointment, verified the price and went to get my lashes. The stylist was friendly and good. When I went to pay the price they wanted me to pay was a lot higher. I told them I verified this when I made the appointment. I am also in customer service and is very important to treat all customers politedly, friendly, fairly. When I told her that the price I pulled from the website was a different amount, and verified when making the appointment a few days before, she just said well the website isn't up right now, it's down. She refused any consideration and was very obstinent. I was referred there by my hairdresser, and their clients. Who are now reconsidering their referrals.

Been going to Vanity Rocks for 18 months now and love it! Originally got them to go to a reunion and never went back to my old lashes!! I wake up and go...its the best thing since sliced bread! I did alot of research before I went and the price and quality of the work is by far the best there is! Not to mention a friendly staff and beautiful salon!

Pros: Lashes done right! Excellent communication!

I love Vanity Rocks. I did a lot of lash extension research before going here and now I'm HOOKED! Lots of other places are way too expensive. Vanity Rocks is afforable and has a very welcoming, relaxing, chill atmosphere. I always look forward to going...and my lashes are FABULOUS!

What Every Woman in Austin needs to Know about EYE LASH EXTENSIONS AND LIP AND EYE LINER TATOOING!!!!

Hello Ladies in and around Austin,

Although I have been a customer of a number of salons in the last 20 years that I have lived in Austin, and I have considered a ?regular? at some hair or cosmetic salons, I have never been moved to write an opinion or a review?Until Now!

I first noticed a woman with beautiful eyelashes in Home Depot and heard her remark, ?this was the best thing I have ever had done!? as someone another person was remarking upon her lashes. I always want to hear form a real person, about what is New and Great, rather than reading about it and just not being sure.I asked teh woman to tell me more and she happily told me that she had been to a salon that specializes in eye lash extensions, and that she was happy to share the info! So she began to tell about the process, which takes about 90 minutes, and the follow up ?fills? that one can choose if they wish to continue the look.

Well, I just had to see for myself, or start by hearing for myself. I called into VANITY ROCKS and reached a friendly (but not saccharine-sweet) receptionist. Though I could tell that Alexis was busy with appointments coming in and the other duties of a front line person, she understood that I wanted it ?all in a nutshell? with regards to the price, the procedure etc. Amazingly, she did not ask for my name and number to call me back, nor did she go straight to the ?let me book you in for a consult? idea. I think Alexis knows that Vanity Rocks does not suffer from a lack of customers but she also realizes that people like me are going to make a decision based on one phone call and if I don?t get what I need on that call, I move on to the next phone number. So, Alexis gave me the whole story in a minute or 2 and I understood enough to book the soonest appointment I could get.

First, I am not a real ?girlie girl? in that I know how or even would want to put on false eyelashes. This idea seemed perfect for me-a mom, a runner, and a woman nearing 50 that still wants to look my best without doing much at all! The lashes are waterproof so showering and swimming are just non-issues?nor is sweating. The LASHES stay put! The process is so pleasant as well! Who among us cannot enjoy lying in a dentist like chair with her eyes closed for an hour or so each month, to keep this look up! The facility itself is very relaxing, with everyone there feeling rushed as they come through the door, and practically pleading to stay after their lashes are done. There are several beds but no feeling of being overcrowded, not in the least. As I continued to visit the salon, I began to more curious about the lady (MARSHA) doing permanent tattoo?on eyebrows, lips and eyelids. I asked about this procedure and was told that Marsha would require a personal consult (free), as much information would be required to determine if I would be a good candidate. I met with Marsha 3 days later, went through a brief medical history and some Q and A that I had (how much pain, etc) we set our appointment together for permanent lip and eyeliner make up. It DID NOT HURT!!! She put cream on my eyes that numbed me, completely. The liner was done in 20 minutes and I am so very relieved and pleased with the results! It is slight and subtle, but obvious to me, which is just what I asked for. I absolutely cannot imagine having anyone but this lovely, nurturing woman, dong this procedure. She got the colors right and her artistic suggestions were right on!

SO, Please know that I don?t write reviews, or even call back for surveys?. This is different as I am at a period in my life where I just feel angry at poor service and so gracious for being treated really well??.above average! Visit Vanity Rocks or call Alexis if you are even curious??.

In my profession I see alot of people, I'm a hairdresser and can spot really exceptional work, so when I was consulting with a client about her hair I was distracted by her amazing eyelashes and I had to ask if they were her natural lashes because they were so long but they looked so flawless! She of course was happy to tell me about the lash and body shop and the rest is history! I go in every 3 weeks for fills and have seen all the girls there. I would highly recommend this charming shop to anyone who just wants to feel pretty and do something nice for themselves. Go ahead girls you deserve it!

Jamie Richter is the best all around, from head to toe. I enjoyed my experience so much at the Lash Shop.
It was relaxing and peaceful. I nearly fell asleep! I had been to other shops sort of like this and it was not enjoyable or as relaxing as the Lash and Body shop. I now don't want to go any where else but here.
It is so amazing how friendly and enjoyable the employees are. Jaime is so talented and outgoing. Do not listen to anything bad you hear about this shop, it was the best choice i've made in a long time.

Things aren't as great at Lash and Body as they used to be, so beware before you go. The turn over rate at the salon is extremely high and from what I understand, it mostly has to do with the owner, Jamie, and how she treats her employees. Don't expect to get the same lash stylist twice when you go in. I think they have lost 4-5 stylists in the last few months. There have been many changes lately and not for the best. I think the way an employer treats their employee tells you alot about the business, therefore I am going elsewhere for my lashes. I do not want to support a business owner like that. Any potential lash stylists-be very aware of where you think you want to work. Small business owners don't always know what they are doing and can cut you loose in a blink of an eye. Anyone can start a business but not everyone should have employees and manage people and their paychecks. Jamie has recently lost her best stylist and I don't think anyone else there is anywhere near as good. Yes the price is good, but how long will this place be around with this kind of turn around.

I've been going to Lash&Body for over a year now and they are a few of the sweetest bunch of classy ladies in town!

The procedure seemed scary to me at first, but when I arrived for the first time, they had me lay down on a very plush bed, listen to spa-relaxing music and before I knew it, I was asleep and woke up to GORGEOUS, full, long lashes.

I never used mascara before and I especially don't use it now. There is no need for it and everyone thinks they are mine. The ones that do actually ask if they are mine, I tell them, "Of COUSE they are mine lol!" After all, I did pay for them, right? ;-)

Anyway, even the ladies at the various nail/waxing spas marvel at the perfected job Lash&Body does on my lashes every time. They even do waxing, and offer other services, so it is becoming a one-stop shop.

But I warn you again, ONCE YOU DO LASH&BODY, you will NEVER go back to your natural lashes. I've already tried and there is NO comparison to how good I feel when everyone is always complimenting my Lash/Body lashes. ~K-Love

I've been going to Lash & Body for eyelash extensions for a few months now and I have nothing but the highest praise for the shop! If you are looking for cost, convenience, comfort, and quality, Lash & Body is the place to go to!

Angie has worked on my lashes and she is AWESOME! She has a great eye (no pun intended) for detail and is very careful with her work. Jamie also did fills for me and she of course is the best...but Angie's work is hard to tell a difference from Jamie's! I also love their pricing. Most places charge you by the eyelash, but at Lash & Body that put as many lashes on as it will take to give you a beautiful look. There's no counting lashes and driving up the price!

I must also say that I had some irritation to the adhesive after my frist time and Angie and Jamie were very quick to assess the situation and alter the procedure to keep from irritating the eye. I've had no problems since then, and the lashes are just as great as they were the first time!

Best of all, my eyes look great! No more blonde, short, wimpy eyelashes...and no more need for eyeliner and mascara!

Pros: cost, quality, convenience, customer service, attention to detail

I love this place! It is so warm and beautifully designed when you walk in. Jaime and the ladies are so friendly and do a fantastic job! My lashes look great! Mallory did a fabulous job and I practically fell asleep while she was putting them on. The new Massage Therapist, Angie, is awesome! She gives such a great massage and I love the discount rate for the massage when you join the Lash Club. I felt like a million bucks after my relaxing massage, I will be back time and time again and definitely recommend anyone who wants to look great and feel great, go visit the ladies at The Lash and Body Shop.

This is pretty close to my house so I've been here a few times. Like everyone else said, Jaime's eyelash work is top-notch and I would recommend this place over anywhere else. But other things like massages and etc. other people worked on me and I felt that the service was just mediocre, at best. She might have been new or something but I did definitely come out of the place with the money's worth.

Ladies, this is the best way to pamper yourselves! You can't believe what a difference these lashes make until you've tried them. Jaime will spend as much time as you'd like, discussing the procedure, what to expect after, and how to take care of your gorgeous new lashes. You will never have to worry about racoon eyes- EVER! The lashes are long, dark, and really make your eyes "POP!" Even if you don't wear makeup, your eyes will be magnets for whomever you are talking too, they will stare but it will be with envy. I always feel glamorous, even if i am just running my kids to school. Jaime will definately take care of you - and she returns phone calls quickly. You've got to get these done before the holiday parties start, you will be so glad you did!

I naturally have pretty long eyelashes but I wanted to give eyelash extensions a try. I'm so glad that I did. I have received so many compliments and no one knows that they are extensions until I tell them. I love the way my eyes just pop!

At the Lash and Body Shop you don't have to pick a package or decide how many lashes you want applied. You simply tell Jaime what look you're wanting and then she works her magic and creates a beautiful look that matches your taste and desired look. The application process was so relaxing I fell asleep. At the end I even received a scalp massage. If you are thinking about getting eyelash extensions I recommend the Lash and Body Shop.

Jaime is the best! She applied my lash extensions in a very relaxing atmosphere. I have fallen asleep while she worked away making me beautiful. I have had so many people compliment me on my eyes and lashes. I used to never think of leaving the house without eyeliner and mascara. Now I don't fel the need to wear any eye makeup at all. A great enhancement that makes everyday life easier...who could ask for anything more? I would HIGHLY recommend this procedure done by Jaime to anyone!

I was so relaxed during the lash extension application process I almost fell asleep! Its a painless beauty procedure and who doesn't love that?! Jaime does a wonderful job by giving special attention to each lash and the lashes are stunning! Everywhere I go, I get compliments. I say, you've gotta go see Jaime! These lashes completely trump putting on mascara every day. They are definitely a must have for the Bride-to-Be. I thoroughly enjoy my no fuss lashes. I'm a powder and gloss kinda girl and these lashes are the perfect compliment.

When I left the Lash & Body Shop, I was amazed at my eyes! I wanted to go everywhere and have them seen! Jaime is a perfectionist and this shows. Every single time I have had my lashes done, I have been thrilled. It is well worth the initial investment & the fills. It is so very relaxing and everytime, I have walked out feeling so refreshed- and all I had done were lashes. This made me want to have a massage & what a great decision. If Jaime is not able to personally do the massage (she has many beautiful lashes to make!).. There are some great people that she has helping her. I cannot say enough about the service, professionalism, atmosphere, and over all experience. This is a top notch, one of a kind place!!
