My bathroom was in need of a make over. I went to Austin Counter Tops and I now love my bathroom! The people in the show room were very helpful and patient. They made a few suggestions that have turned out to be the items that I now love the most with the remodel. The installers did a great job too. The work was done several months ago, and it continues to look as great as it did then. I plan on contacting them when I remodel my kitchen.

This review is for customer service only and has nothing to do with the quality of material ordered. It will be 9 weeks since I placed my order and paid for my counter top through Home Depot for which Austin Counter Tops supplies the product. Do I have the beautiful kitchen I have been working so hard for? NO. I need 172 inches to cover my main area. Not hard. 170 inches is what Austin Counter Tops delivered. Somehow, it is made to be my fault...because I do not understand about mitering corners. Perhaps that is correct. I just know I need 172 inches and 170 just will not work no matter how the corner is mitered! Austin Counter Tops are supposed to be the experts. I counted on that expertise! A new piece was ordered but there was to be no expediting because I ordered a bull nose edge...bull nose is special. I have waited a full three weeks again to schedule a delivery for the corrected piece...but wait...Austin Counter Tops called to say they have somehow "lost" the special order piece and it cannot be delivered. Oh, but NOW they can expedite another piece with the special bull nose edge and have it delivered in a week! To think I would find Austin Counter Tops listed with the BBB was a fond illusion...is it any wonder?I will update this review next week when my newest new piece is due to be cut and delivered. Perhaps my new old piece will resurface! *sigh*The installation will be a do-it-yourself job as I could never trust a company to install when they cannot even get the material measurements correct.

BUYER BEWARE. I will NEVER do business with this company. Company had to come out to house because end cap on counter top wasn't glued right. Also did horrible work seaming an L-shaped counter top for kitchen. "Moisture" got in seam because it wasn't properly sealed by company. Company said it was home owner's fault, not company's workmanship for improperly sealed L-shape counter top. I've had L-shaped counter tops for over 20 years in past homes lived in & NEVER had any problems with counter top bubbling up. In a little over a year, I've had multiple issues with counter top installed by Austin Counter Tops. Austin Counter Top has contract with my homebuilder and even the home builder's subcontractor said that "this isn't the first problem [he] has seen, and it won't be the last". That tells me that I'm not the only one that has problems with Austin Counter Top's poor workmanship. At my old house I had my counter tops seamed by company off of Dessau Rd. That place did a good job. I'll be going there to fix Austin Counter Top's poor workmanship.
