Ratings_icons Hypnosis Conquered Negativity

Jonj

I have suffered from problems with negativity for as long as I can remember. Everything bugged the crud out of me and friends and family found me unpleasant to be around. People didn?t want to be around me and my attitude was straining relationships with multiple people in my life. I wasn?t getting what I wanted or what I needed and I would reflect my frustrations negatively on other people and have mood issues.

I was subconsciously resenting others all the time and lashing out on them. I sometimes felt like I couldn?t control my attitude because I would do something hurtful and feel embarrassed about it, but I didn?t know how to change it, so I just stayed in that same place. I was the only person standing in my way, but I didn?t know what else to do. I?ve tried pharmacology to deal with my problem, but it just made me feel lethargic and I wasn?t getting to the root of the issue.

I heard about A New Day Hypnosis on citysearch and decided to try it. I noticed in the first week that I was a little more upbeat and less stressed. I had a more positive attitude overall. It has been fairly simple for me to change my behaviors and come to my appointments because it?s a relief for me; I look forward to it. It?s been easy for me to change my attitude because my communication skills have improved, I?m better at conveying my needs and interacting with others.

I?m sleeping better and I feel more relaxed and in control of my behavior patterns. I don?t lash out at people as often and my family has noticed that I?m friendlier, more tolerant, and more easygoing. My partner says that I am nicer and more accommodating than I was before. I am happier and the more that I do things for myself, the better it gets.

I feel more confident at work and I have more control over the situation. I don?t feel stressed or pressured at my job, so that I can be who I am supposed to be and perform to my full potential. I am more confident in my relationships and I?m not afraid that anyone is going to leave me anymore, so that feels good.

The most important benefit for me has been the outlet. I needed a little bit of a kick in the rear and Laura has helped me to change my perception of things. I would recommend A New Day hypnosis to anyone who wants to change their outlook. I feel like this process has brought so much of a different perspective and insight. When someone else questions your perspective I really respect that and I liked it a lot. I?m confident that I can see a difference an attitude change, a life change. I know that I have further to go, but I know that it relies on me.

Ratings_icons My goals are back on track

Tom P

I?ve had a lack of self worth and trouble with self-esteem that has colored a lot of my experiences in life. I?ve always felt like I haven?t achieved my full potential and there was a sense of dissatisfaction hanging over me. I suffered from social anxiety and there were some missing pieces in my life puzzle that I needed to fill in. I felt disappointed in myself, which didn?t help my situation.

I?ve read self-help books to overcome my problem and I didn?t have profound results, but I understood myself a little better. I really felt like I wanted to assert some control over my choices, but I didn?t know how. I heard about A New Day Hypnosis when I saw a flyer at Fresh Plus and decided to call.

After a few sessions, I noticed that I was talking to people more often and had overcome some of my shyness in social situations. I know now that I am a competent and decent person and that helps me feel happy. I?m more at ease around people and I?m more content with myself. I feel more satisfied with my life overall.

Talking to another person is helpful and having personalized sessions has made a big improvement in my life. I?m taking action and doing things that I wasn?t doing before; I?ve resurrected some dormant goals and I?m feeling more comfortable and secure overall. I feel more confident in my abilities and I know that I am a good writer and know that I can be successful. I feel more self-assured because I have less anxiety.

The most important thing for me has been gaining insights into my behaviors. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants help with confidence because Laura is competent and has really invested herself in learning her profession and she is here to stay.

Ratings_icons No More Panic Attacks.

RT41

I?ve had problems with anxiety and panic attacks for the last eight years. When I experienced it, I didn?t know what was going on and I thought it was a health issue. I felt like I was running 90,000 miles an hour and it was hard to make it through the day. I was quick tempered and I wasn?t handling high pressure situations very well. I knew that if I didn?t get control over it, it could really start to physically affect me.

The panic affected my sports. I had a panic attack while I was swimming and when I was out in the country riding my bike. I noticed that when I was totally away from everything I would feel like I couldn?t get any support or help if I ran out of water or food and that made me feel vulnerable and brought on the panic. I felt claustrophobic on planes and was afraid that I would make a scene and not be able to escape. I pushed myself to continue flying, but had to take Xanax to get through it.

I tried breathing methods and looked up some information to try to understand panic attacks and anxiety. I researched it and saw that hypnosis was something that had helped some people to deal with panic and. I was upset and miserable about the experience so when I heard about A New Day Hypnosis on citysearch, I decided to call because I needed to get this fixed.

I?m always leery when I do something and I?m not sure if it is a legitimate service. Initially, I didn?t think anything was working, but I started to recognize that I understood the problem and found myself using the tools that I had learned to eliminate the issue. I noticed that I was more in control and more aware of what was going on and I felt calmer and more relaxed in general.

I feel much more in control now because I have tools to help me understand what I am experiencing and how to deal with it. I know now that it?s not a physical issue and I?m learning to train myself to stop it. I feel more confident. I just flew to LA and back on two small express planes. During the second flight I was in the last seat against the window and I was pinned in a corner, but I still felt okay. I tuned it out and enjoyed the plane ride, which made me feel successful.

In my last triathlon I didn?t have any panic attacks and I swam 1000 meters. I?ve been training a lot with the bike and I haven?t panicked out on the road. I know about the problem and how it evolves and now I have the tools to diffuse it. I have the knowledge and the ability and that?s the biggest part of the success for me.

When you have to deal with an issue on your own, you don?t have the benefit of someone else?s outlook or insight. Because I was in the fire, I couldn?t see anything else but the fire, but I feel that Laura cared and was really interested in fixing the problem and sharing her perspective with me. Her ideas made sense and I felt that talking and really working through the issues was very beneficial. The feedback and the understanding were really important for my progress.

I would absolutely recommend A New Day Hypnosis because I had a great experience. I feel confident in my ability because I can feel it coming on and I?m able to shut it down and use the tools that I?ve learned to deal with it. I have to keep on that path and I?m confident that I can, but I know that it rests on me. I have to concentrate on balance and remember that working all day long is not acceptable. I?m very happy with my progress, it?s definitely worth it and it was a great experience that really empowered me to deal with my issues.

Ratings_icons Laura helped me

emco

I?ve been constantly picking at my fingers over the last nineteen years and it was always something I had to think about. At times, I would notice that I was picking my fingers without even knowing that I was doing it. It made me self-conscious in dating situations and I worried about shaking hands with people. When I went swimming, the skin was way more shriveled up than anyone else and that was embarrassing. I felt out of control and I was worried that I would have to think about it for the rest of my life. I want to work in the culinary field and I was worried that my fingers would be a hindrance for me.

I tried to force myself not to do it and I might stop for two minutes, but it was impossible to keep myself from doing it. I wore gloves sometimes when I slept, but it wasn?t effective because I never remembered to do it. Nothing ever really worked and it was way too hard for me.

I heard about A New Day Hypnosis on citysearch. I wasn?t trying anything else, so I figured I might as well try it. It?s been easier than I thought it would be. After the first week, I only picked my fingers once instead of doing it constantly. I don?t have the urge to do it anymore and I don?t even think about it. I feel more relaxed and more in control now and I?m conscious about what I?m doing.

I feel more confident. When I go swimming, my hands look normal. I don?t have to think twice about holding someone?s hand or doing normal things. I don?t have to worry about it anymore. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants to stop picking at their fingers. I?ve tried most things that everyone else has tried and I?ve literally been doing this my whole life. If it can help me, I know that it can help others. I feel confident because this is the longest I?ve ever gone and I can?t imagine letting myself go back to how I was before.

Ratings_icons Hypnosis helped me with Anger Problem

draftchoice

I?ve had problems with anger issues since I was a teenager. I always felt like someone was doing me wrong and I wanted justice; that made me frustrated a lot of the time. I thought the yelling was just venting and that it was good for me. I had this mentality that everyone was out to get me and I ran my life in the offense. My attitude was affecting everyone in my life. I was wearing my business partner down, my girlfriend was put in uncomfortable situations because of my emotions, and with family, I would get in arguments and had basically dismissed them altogether. I started to have health problems because of stress, which was a real sign to me that things weren?t working out.

I?ve tried reading things online and trying to figure things out on my own. Everything made sense, but I didn?t have a plan. I realized what was wrong, but I didn?t have a way to fix it. Sometimes I got massages when I was angry with the world, but it only worked for an hour or so until I got back to work.

I heard about A New Day Hypnosis through a friend who had come to see Laura. I thought it was a good idea because my mother used hypnosis and it absolutely worked for her. I decided to call because I wanted to improve my relationship with my girlfriend and be the better person that she needed me to be.

I initially thought it was going to be very dry and boring, but it?s comfortable to open up and talk about things with Laura. When I started listening to my sessions, I became more aware of what I was doing and the impact that my actions were having on a variety of different things. I started realizing where the reactions were coming from. Even though I knew what the problem was, it was eye-opening to understand it and associate it with the way that I reacted to things in my life.

I?m less reactive and calmer now. I don?t have the physical reactions anymore and I?m not worn out by stress, so I have more energy. I don?t feel like I have to be vocal and angry when I share my feelings with people anymore. When things happen, I remember what we talked about and I work to change my behaviors. It?s been easier for me to understand what I am doing and where it all comes from.

I feel more in control now and less stressed and tense. I think about what I?m doing and I feel more confident and have lots of tools, which make me more equipped to deal with things in a more rational way. My business partner has said that he?s noticed a big change in me and my girlfriend has commented on the difference in the way that I deal with things. I know that I don?t need to throw a fire on problems and light them up. I?m putting the gas and matches away and that makes my life a lot easier.

The biggest benefit for me has been the tools that I?ve learned and the ability to put things together. The way that Laura communicates with me is effective and casual, so I can relate to her. When I make excuses for myself, Laura calls them out. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone with anger management issues because it has helped me. I feel confident that I understand and have awareness about what is going on. The tools are helping me to be less reactive and more calm in general. I focus more on me and I?m learning to take responsibility for my actions instead of worrying about everyone else?s issues.

Ratings_icons A New Day helped me create a balanced life

LT99

I?ve had mild weight fluctuations in the past, but I really struggled with my weight for the last year. I was working way too much and I had a lot of stress. When I came to see Laura, I felt like ?Gollum? from The Lord of the Rings and it was horrifying to me. I had terrible boundaries with my time and I was stress eating, I wasn?t sleeping, and I wasn?t working out. Things had really gotten off track for me.

I was wound up and spent my nights laying in bed and worrying about my job. I felt out of control because I was angry and I didn?t know how to stop myself. Because I was working such late hours, I ordered a lot of delivery food and I didn?t make good choices. I was snippy and impatient because I was exhausted and stressed all the time.

I?ve tried regular therapy and although it has been very helpful in some areas of my life, I wasn?t working on stress management there. I did Weight Watchers briefly because I was trying to curb the weight that I had gained, but I stopped going because I wasn?t working out and thought, ?What is the point in eating well if I?m not going to the gym??

My friend went to see Laura and recommended her to me, so I checked out the website and decided to call. I noticed immediately after my first session that I was sleeping better because Laura?s voice really helped me to calm down. I was also eating smaller portions, snacking less, and making better food choices.

The change has been very easy for me because I came to the realization that I needed to adjust the way that I was approaching my life in order to meet my goals. Laura shone a light on my situation. We had a conversation about scheduling exercise and talked about what time I would have to leave work so that I could get to bed on time. She pointed out that if I couldn?t get my work done within normal working hours, there was a serious problem.

Laura also helped me to realize that when I worked 65 hours a week, I was giving my company 25 hours a week for free and that was an alarming realization for me. After talking about it, I realized that she was right and now I?m diligent about leaving work on time so that I can go to bed and get up to go to the gym. It seems so obvious, but I?d never thought about it that way.

For me, this has been more of a lifestyle change than a weight loss thing. I feel more in control now because I?m managing my energy in a positive way. People at work are calling me Liz ?2.0? because I don?t get as stressed about things, I leave work at a normal time, and I?m more positive to be around. I cook and bake now and my home, my car, and my desk are all spotless. I?m calm and finally back to being me. A client who hadn?t seen me in a while also mentioned that I looked awesome, which made me feel great.

I feel more confident because I?m getting things under control and feeling like I?m managing things better. I?m not snacking, bingeing, and overeating anymore and I?ve gone down a clothing size. I have already recommended A New Day Hypnosis because I think Laura is really good at what she does. Hypnosis is a different approach and I think it?s been a nice compliment to my traditional therapy because we are working simultaneously on developing new behavioral patterns. I believe that these changes will be permanent because I know that I will continue to work to maintain my energy management effectively, I also like feeling rested and happy and want that to continue in my life.

Ratings_icons Laura helped me with anxiety

austinite73

I've suffered from anxiety for as long as I can remember. It was affecting my sleep and my ability to interact with the people that are close to me. I wasn't able to relax and have a good time because I was always thinking about the things that I needed to do. I felt awful because I wasn't able to have good conversations with my kids and wasn't able to mentally be present in conversations or get work done. I felt hopeless and depressed because it didn't seem like I had any options in my life.

I've tried regular counseling to deal with the anxiety, but I didn't feel like it was very helpful. I've also tried self-help books. Some of them had good points that interested me, but a book can't gauge your reaction and point out something that you don't already know. The books didn't challenge me and I gravitated towards the things that I already agreed with and ignored the things that I didn't, so it wasn't that much of a help either.

I saw the sign for A New Day Hypnosis outside when I was eating lunch at Austin Java. I decided to call because I wanted to try an approach other than the basic talk therapy that I'd tried before. I noticed that I was able to go back to sleep after waking up instead of lying awake for hours. I was also able to be more comfortable in social settings. I feel like I have more control now and instead of just passively accepting everything, I am coming up with new ways to respond to issues in my life. . I stand up for myself more and feel more confident because I believe that I'm right and respond accordingly.

I look forward to my visits because I feel like Laura listens and understands better than anyone else that I've worked with. The most important benefit that I've received from A New Day Hypnosis is the ability to decrease anxiety and look at things differently. I am more empowered and I'm very happy with my progress. I really feel like I have taken control of my life.

Ratings_icons Laura helped me with an embarrassing problem

m1977

I?ve had a problem with anxiety and panic attacks for the last eight months. The focus of my panic attacks related to a perceived urgency to defecate. I didn?t really have to go to the restroom; it was just created in my head. It made me very uncomfortable at bars, concerts, and parties. If there were gorgeous women around I was even more uncomfortable. It was like an avalanche of all sorts of feelings and that was overwhelming. My stomach would end up in knots. I felt trapped in conversations and anxiously tried to get out of the situation because I was afraid of what might happen.I tried prescription medication to overcome the anxiety and they worked, but I don?t like to take pills so I thought I would look into other options. I bought a book about panic attacks, but never finished it. In fact, I started feeling more panicked as I read about people in panicked situations. I did some research on the internet and took a look at yahoo local. I read about some other hypnotherapists, but I liked Laura?s testimonials the best, so I decided to call. I noticed right away that it didn?t matter what the situation was, I felt better and more at ease. I?m definitely more relaxed and I?m sleeping a lot better now. I feel more freedom because I can actually enjoy myself and be more relaxed in social situations. I have more fun and feel confident because it doesn?t matter what situation I am in, I know that I don?t have to worry about anything happening. If I start to feel panicked, I am confident that I can talk myself out of it. I really liked the advice that Laura has given me and it has really helped. The advice and the CDs have been very beneficial to me. There have been so many benefits; it?s hard to sum up. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who suffers from panic attacks because it has been very helpful to me. I have the confidence, the relaxation, and I can control my thoughts.

Ratings_icons Hypnosis changed my life

nat021

I've had a difficult, never-ending uphill battle with my weight for the last ten years. I was binging two or three times a week. I went to the gas station and bought doughnuts and cakes and sugary foods. I could stop it temporarily by dieting and being strict with myself, but after a couple of months, I just went back to it. I heard about A New Day Hypnosis through citysearch. All the good reviews impressed me, so I decided to call. When I walked into the office, I felt like my stomach was in my throat. Afterward, I actually felt really relaxed in my whole body. I?m eating better, taking care of myself, and learning how to be comfortable with myself. I first came for food issues, but it has become everything else in my life that has needed to change. Hypnosis has been the tool that made it all fall into place. I?m not afraid of other people anymore and I deal with things like anxiety and stress in healthy ways. Now I can recognize what?s going on before it turns into a binge session. People at work have noticed that I?m standing up for myself in unexpected ways. I don?t feel nervous about what people are thinking about me and I don?t think twice about talking to people. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis because hypnosis is a really good tool to tap into the subconscious and utilize your own strengths. This has been the biggest tool for change that I?ve ever had in my life. It came at the right time when I was ready and I don?t know if the change could have happened without it. I?m becoming a different person, the best parts of me aren?t overshadowed by fear, anxiety and stress anymore. This process has changed my life beyond what I could have even imagined. It?s been pretty amazing; the difference between who I am now and the person that I was before is like night and day. I know that these changes and my healthy lifestyle will be permanent because it isn?t possible for me to go back; I have tools now that I can use for the rest of my life.

Ratings_icons I overcame my fear of public speaking

rmartinez65

I?ve had problems with public speaking for the last ten years. Throughout the day, I felt apprehensive and didn?t look forward to any meetings or events where I?d have to speak in front of a group of people. It negatively affected my career because I would only give short answers at meetings and wouldn?t elaborate or speak up if I had something to share. I wasn?t helping with projects and wasn?t getting higher profile promotions. It felt out of control. If a meeting came up, there was no way to avoid it, so I just tried to get through the day. I?ve read books about public speaking to try and overcome it. The books focused on different techniques, but it didn?t really work. I even took a public speaking class, but it was still a struggle and it didn?t eliminate any of the feelings of anxiety. I did an online search for phobia cures and I found A New Day Hypnosis. After the first session, I was able to calm myself and slow down instead of just letting it overtake me. I?m getting better sleep and I?m able to fall asleep much quicker. I feel more relaxed and I?m not as cranky. It?s been easier than anything I?ve tried because of the coaching, the different tips that I?ve learned and different techniques. I feel more in control now. I speak up more in meetings and feel comfortable just throwing things out there and getting responses back. I can slow myself down and go through things in my head, so I?m better able to organize my thoughts. I?m also open to impromptu meetings at work. I?m conveying my thoughts easier and I feel more confident. The biggest benefit for me has been a more positive outlook about going to work every day. Some people from our Dallas office will be visiting soon and I know that I will be presenting for them. I know at the meeting I?ll be prepared and I won?t worry about it. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants to work on public speaking. I?m confident that I have the resources I need to be successful.

scorpionic

I?ve struggled with my weight all of my life and bounced back and forth since puberty. In high school, I took diet pills and lost weight, but then I had a fungus in my mouth and had to stop. I?ve yo-yoed a lot. I didn?t like being overweight and it was on my mind all the time. In the last few years, I added wine to the whole picture because I felt like I deserved it after a long day, but I had to get in a two hour workout every day so that I could enjoy my wine in the evening. When I was drinking too much wine I was snacking on the wrong things and I was out of control when I ate. I grabbed cheese and crackers or tortillas and baked chips. It had gotten to be a really bad habit. I think people fall into a rut of being stressed and wanting to relax, but the worry about my wine intake was consuming me. I?d drink at night and then wake up and obsess about it all day long. I heard about A New Day Hypnosis at Back in Alignment Chiropractic. After the first session, I stopped drinking at home and I immediately noticed that I felt so much better in the morning. I sleep so much better now and I have a lot more time. I feel better in my clothes because they fit a lot better. It?s gotten to where I don?t even want to drink when I am out for dinner. The other night, I just had a couple sips from my husband?s beer and that was it. It?s been remarkably easy and I feel much more in control now. I don?t need wine to relax anymore and everybody in the family is so proud of me. My daughter brings her wine over and when I walk by and smell it, it doesn?t even smell good, all I can smell is the alcohol. This process has been fun and I?ve really enjoyed the friendship. Being able to relax with my hypnosis CDs has replaced the wine. I believe that these changes in my lifestyle will be permanent because I don?t want to go back and be consumed with worry the way that I was before. I would definitely recommend A New Day Hypnosis because it has helped me.

I didn?t want people to know I was a smoker, so it was my dirty little secret. I was sneaking cigarettes and couldn?t have them at work. I was irritable with my wife and she avoided me because I was crabby when I had to be in situations where I couldn?t smoke. I stayed home and smoked when my wife was gone. I tried the patches and gum, my wallet got lighter, but I didn?t notice a decrease in my smoking. I tried using rubber bands on my wrist and cold turkey to quit. I also tried making plans to be away from any situation where I would be tempted, but that didn?t work either. I had no control over my desire to have a cigarette and I was at the mercy of the cravings. Years ago, I did group hypnosis to quit smoking and I thought it was just bogus and made up. I was skeptical, but I had no other alternatives. I wasn?t a big believer in hypnosis, but I figured it wouldn?t hurt to try it out. After the first session, almost right away I noticed the change. I broke down once, but by the second session the cravings were gone and that was it. It was unbelievable for me. I?ve been tobacco free over a month now and it?s been great. My day doesn?t revolve around cigarettes anymore and everything is focused on what I want to do. My focus and concentration have gotten better and my productivity has gone up. The most important benefit that I?ve received from this process has been my relationship with my wife. Things were rocky and I had anxiety all the time because I was sneaking cigarettes. She knew I was sneaking and it put her in an uncomfortable position; there was a lot of frustration around that. My wife wants to do more with me and our relationship had improved ten-fold. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis because it works. I?ve tried pretty much everything and this was simple, painless, fast and cost effective. I have no doubt that I?m a nonsmoker permanently because I don?t have a single craving.

I?ve suffered from an obsessive need to pull my hair out for the last 45 years. Pulling my hair out had become so routine; I used it to soothe myself and calm myself down. I was so unhappy and crying because I pulled all the time. I kept myself more distant because I didn?t want anyone to find out about my problem. I always had spots, but I kept them covered. I was mad at myself for not being able to stop on my own and it made me feel less confident. I felt out of control when it got so bad that a lot of my hair was gone. I had to start wearing a hairpiece and that?s when I started to panic. My sister could even see the bald spots through my wig. In the past, I tried medication, journaling, and just telling myself to stop. They worked somewhat, but the sheer desire of wanting to pull my hair was so strong that I wasn?t successful. I I made the decision that I wasn?t going to spend the rest of my life without hair and started to do some research. I heard about A New Day Hypnosis on citysearch. I started feeling better after I met with Laura because I had someone to talk with about this. I noticed that I felt more enthusiastic about my ability to overcome it. I have a better mindset and feel more in control because I have a better handle on this. I don?t have any bald spots and that makes me feel more confident. I feel cuter and just feel like I?m like everyone else walking around the grocery store. I want to say ?Hey, look at me, I?ve got hair?. It?s nice to be able to talk about my problem and Laura has given me good things to think about and different strategies to stop myself from pulling. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants help with hair pulling because it has helped me. I?m going to stay vigilante with it and continue to deal with the urges. I have some new strategies that I can use. I?ve made great progress.and just don?t feel the urge as much. I feel clever that I?ve gotten my hair back and it?s wonderful for me.

Ratings_icons Hypnosis cured my sweet tooth!

vw2002

I?ve had problems with sweets for over twenty years. In college, after a test, I?d be tired and reward myself with a bag of cookies or some other sweets. It got harder and harder for me and then in my forties I started thinking about sweets almost all the time. I tried to stop myself by telling myself that I wasn?t going to have a binge. I would save up and have a big binge and once it came on, I couldn?t stop it. After having cancer, I felt that I needed to do everything possible to stay healthy. Sugar feeds cancer, so I didn?t want to give the cancer an opportunity to grow in my body. I was seeing sugar as a coping mechanism and after a binge I felt bad about what I had done. I heard about A New Day Hypnosis at Austin Integrative Health. I decided to call and set up an appointment. I started to feel differently about sweets. When I was around them, I didn?t feel drawn to them the way that I had in the past. I?m not thinking about chocolate and making plans to add it into my day and I?ve developed other coping mechanisms to deal with stress. I know that I?m doing everything possible to be healthy and I feel more in control. When I go to a party with sweets, I don?t stand around by the dessert table anymore and I feel better about being in those situations. I feel more confident because I?m doing the things that I need to do to be healthy. I have a real sense freedom now because I?m not obsessed with sweets. I love the fact that I?m able to go into Whole Foods and walk by the desserts without staring at them. I don?t have to feel guilty and I like having the sense of control. I would definitely recommend A New Day Hypnosis because it has helped me. It?s so hard to do it on your own and it?s much better to change your way of thinking than trying medications or a crash diet that doesn?t work long term. I have healthier ways of looking at food and I?m very confident that I?m on the right path to making a change in my life.

Ratings_icons A New Day Hypnosis helped me improve my self-esteem

lroo

I?ve had problems with self-esteem since I was a pre-teen. . I depended on validation from others and and instead of thinking about work, I thought about my relationships with men and what needed to be changed. I was feeling desperate because I couldn?t focus on the things that were important in my life. I was in such a state of anxiety because I couldn?t stop the thoughts and the chatter or get past constantly analyzing myself and my problems. I?ve used therapy on and off to work on my problem and it actually gave me more anxiety. I felt like I had to defend myself to the therapist and got really bored listening to myself talk. It wasn?t doing anything and it seemed like I was wasting my time. I decided that hypnosis might be helpfulfor me and I read a lot of reviews of local hypnotherapists on yahoo. I thought that A New Day Hypnosis sounded the best, so I decided to call. The change was immediate for me and I had an overall sense that there were steps that I could take to improve myself, which was a relief. It?s very self explanatory and I have a guide to take me through this, so it?s been easy. I definitely feel more in control now. I?m contributing more to my own life and to others who are close to me. I?m more present and if someone calls me to talk about their problems, I?m a better listener and I?m not distracted with my own issues. I?m more responsible in my daily life and I feel a lot more confident about things. It?s just sort of like putting on rose colored glasses. I?m more positive in general. I really believe that I deserve good things in my life. The most important benefit that I?ve gotten out of this is hope. I feel like I can make these behavioral changes and I have a sense of relief about it. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants to work on issues like mine because it?s unique and it?s easy. I feel confident that I?m at a really good stage in life and that there are good things coming up.

Ratings_icons I have more confidence thanks to A New Day!

jzw

I?ve had problems with a lack of confidence and limiting beliefs all of my life. When I went back into the hair business, there were blocks that were keeping me from succeeding and I wasn?t confident enough to go out and market my business. I went to various counselors to help fix the problem and also tried positive affirmation writing. I?ve read all variations of self-help books, but with everything I did it always had a short term effect. I would feel some relief and move forward a little bit, but I couldn?t stay with it for very long before I started reverting back to my old, negative habits. I heard about A New Day Hypnosis through a woman that I met at Toastmasters named Kristi Curry. She had overcome stage fright with hypnosis and recommended it to me. It was time for me to make some drastic changes and I was ready. I noticed right away that I was getting more clarity on different things. My mind started expanding on new ideas and I felt more confident to act on them.
I get a lot accomplished before my work day begins and I feel more in control. I don?t feel afraid anymore and for the first time ever, everything in my life is organized. My brain is clearer and more focused and I love waking up and thinking about new, innovative ways that I can get my business out there. For the first time, I feel confident that I can be accountable to myself and there?s nothing to hide anymore. I?m feeling so proud because I?ve finally tapped in to what I came here to do and I?ve gotten past the barriers that were keeping me from success and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to overcome a block. Laura is a very calm soul; she?s easy to talk to and gives great advice. Most of all, plain and simple, it?s easy and it works. I?m confident that I?m free of my problem permanently because I?m not in a place of doubting anymore. I know what I want and I see my goal very clearly and vividly, so I know that I will have success.

Ratings_icons A New Day worked for fear of heights

crbent99

I?ve been really afraid of falling and being in high places for the last year. I would drive different roads and not do certain things so that I didn?t have to drive on overpasses and other elevated areas. I wouldn?t go sight seeing if it had anything to do with heights. I couldn?t even stand on the second level at a shopping mall. I felt out of control and it was embarrassing. I was self conscious because I couldn?t do anything and I?d become very dependent on my fiancee to get around. I was freaking out about it a lot and it made my life more stressful and difficult.

Since I?ve moved to Austin I?ve noticed that there are a lot of bridges and I found myself taking longer to get places so that I wouldn?t have to drive certain routes. I decided that I needed to take care of my problem before it got more out of control, so when I heard about A New Day Hypnosis on yahoo, I decided to make an appointment.

I started to notice that I had less anxiety getting on overpasses and didn?t feel as nervous when I was driving with other people. I went on a trip to San Francisco and we drove up some mountains and went over a couple of big bridges and I was able to handle it.

I do whatever I want now. I don?t have to wait on my fiancee or depend on him to take me different places, which gives me a stronger feeling of control. I feel more relaxed and more confident and really feel that I can do anything. I?m not held back anymore. I feel less anxiety and that has made the quality of my life a lot better.

I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who has a fear of heights because it?s all about your subconscious and the way that you think. I don?t think a lot of people really understand what hypnosis is all about and how it works, but I?m confident that I?ve seen a lot of progress and that I?ll continue to improve.

Ratings_icons I improved my confidence with hypnosis

simbar

I?ve had issues with self confidence, fear of rejection, and shyness for the last 25 years. My lack of confidence impacted me a lot and affected every aspect of my life. I was self-conscious around people and I shied away from anything challenging. If someone said hello tome, I tried not to say much. I wasn?t taking risks and I just felt bad about myself. There wasn?t any focus because my mind was clouded with negative thoughts and bad memories from the past. I?ve tried reading self-help and motivational books. I would pick up a book, read it for a few weeks and then put it aside. I might read something inspiring and get fired up, but the fire went out very quickly. I heard about hypnosis when I was watching Oprah, I did a search on yahoo for it. I was a little worried because I?ve seen way too much TV and I had a misconception of what it was going to be like. I thought that I might be in some kind of trance or I wouldn?t know what was going on. I started to notice results after the first session. It was an eye-opener because I started to believe things that I never would have thought about myself. I felt more motivated and started working out again. I feel much more in control now because I don?t get nervous around people. At work, I?m more comfortable with myself and I can talk to anybody. I have a new life and I just feel great because I?m going in the right direction. I have these tools that are totally different from anything I?ve ever tried before. I have more energy and feel better about myself. Hypnosis has helped me to replace my bad behaviors with good ones and change my way of thinking. I?ve shifted my focus to the positive and it?s been easy for me. I would absolutely recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants to work on self confidence because Laura is inviting and makes people feel at ease. She?s easy to talk to and is also inquisitive. I feel a lot better and it?s a relief for me that I can change. It?s like a new beginning.

Ratings_icons Hypnosis helped me overcome stress and negativity

lanamuch

I decided to start a family at age 39 and for the last year my attempts to have a child had not worked out. I was told by my doctor that I couldn?t use my own eggs with in-vitro and that the child really wasn?t going to be me, so I felt really isolated. I started to feel worn out and unworthy; I was hard on myself and felt like I was a lot older than I really am. The holidays were a bad time for me last year because I lost the pregnancy with a donor egg. There was a period shortly after everything happened that I felt panicked and anxious and it was almost like I was having a break down. As the holiday season approached this year all the bad memories started coming back and I got into a rut. I felt like such a hopeless case and thought that I had nothing to look forward to. My work was suffering. I?ve tried some counseling to overcome my problem, but it wasn?t very helpful. She didn?t have a lot of experience or professional boundaries, so it didn?t help me. I heard about A New Day Hypnosis on citysearch and decided to call. I have a tendency to be inflexible with myself and internalize everything, but after meeting with Laura, I started to feel like I had more options. I felt more upbeat and excited about things, which made me feel more positive about my situation and really believe that there was hope for me. I really appreciate Laura?s frame of reference about the issues that I face and I noticed that I was much more relaxed. The most important things that have happened for me have been letting go and feeling more resolved about what I would like to do with my life if I don?t have a child. For the first time, I feel okay about things if it doesn?t work out and that?s been really important for me. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone in my situation because I think that a lot of people have a hard time letting go, but just like anything in life, this is a gamble, so you have to learn to let go and be okay with things no matter how they turn out.

I?ve struggled with my weight for the last seven or eight years. I felt totally out of control, but I was pretending that it was okay. I was uncomfortable and it was hard because I wanted to go back to wearing more fashionable clothes that I wore when I was skinnier, but nothing fit anymore. I felt like I couldn?t control what I was eating and I would tell myself ?Well I?m fat, so who cares if I eat more chorizo,? I always thought that I could just start my diet tomorrow. I tried lots of diets, from nutritional natural weight loss products, to liquid diets. I would lose a little bit of weight, but gain it back as soon as I was off the diet. I?ve gone to personal trainers at the gym and I?m even a lifetime member at Jenny Craig. I heard about A New Day Hypnosis when I saw an ad on craigslist. When Laura spoke with me, she was very straightforward and helped me figure out what I needed to do to reach my goals. I started to focus on eating properly and being more realistic about what I was supposed to do. I?ve noticed that people are noticing the difference in me. Even if I feel tired sometimes, when I focus on what I need to do, the energy comes from nowhere.
I feel more in control now because I?m focused on what kind of food I?m eating and I don?t feel like I?m starving myself. I?m eating much smaller portions and I don?t drink soda at all now. I used to always buy the Mexican sweet bread at the grocery store and now I can walk through and not even look at it. My husband and my parents have noticed that I eat smaller portions, more vegetables, and more proper meals. I feel more confident and I look better in my clothes. I believe that these changes will be permanent because I don?t feel like I?m on a diet. I?ve seen the changes that I?ve had and I don?t think that weight loss is something magical anymore. Laura has really helped to get me focused on my goals. It?s been wonderful and if she can help me, she can help lots of other people too.

Ratings_icons I'm a better student because of hypnosis!

chequers54

I?ve had problems with procrastination and poor study skills for as long as I can remember. When something caused me to feel anxious, I would prolong addressing it and just put it off. I?ve tried to telling myself that this behavior was going to change, but it just didn?t stick. I would usually waste a couple of hours at a time and really missed the boat with what I needed to be doing. My procrastination had become a real problem and oftentimes, I had to go to my professor and tell them that my work wasn?t ready. I felt unprepared and had a lot of anxiety when I took tests because instead of studying the material that was going to be tested, I would go off on tangents and waste time. The situation felt out of control, it made me very nervous and something just felt wrong. I was aware that I was procrastinating, but felt like I couldn?t do anything to stop it. I was in Borders Bookstore and I saw an ad for A New Day Hypnosis. After talking to Laura, I trusted that this was the place for me. I started noticing results within a few days of my first session. I noticed that I felt a lot calmer and I was more motivated. I feel continually motivated to complete my assignments now and also have excitement about my work. I?ve also noticed an increased sense of well being relating to my ability to study. I feel more in control and have more energy to direct towards my goals. There?s much more time focused on the task at hand. I feel more confident now. I can listen to my sessions if I start to feel nervous and I get reminded of my goals and feel relaxed so that I can get back on task. The most important benefit for me has been the ability to focus again. I would definitely recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants help with procrastination and study skills because it has helped me a lot. I?m confident that these habits are becoming ingrained and that I will have continued success and progress in my goals.

Pros: A great help

Ratings_icons Hypnosis helped me study for the LSAT

traymatt

I came to A New Day Hypnosis because I had decided to go to law school, but was having a lot of difficulty studying for the LSAT. I wasn?t sleeping well because of everything that was going on and when I took the LSAT for the first time it was pretty bad.

Ever since, I?ve had a lot of anxiety and a huge mental block when I tried to take LSAT practice tests. I went to tutoring and the scores that I was getting definitely wouldn?t get me into any law school. I looked at the questions, but didn?t really understand what they were saying.

The LSAT isn?t an easy test and I needed some outlet to focus my mind on the task at hand without getting side-tracked by the things that were going on in my life. I was to the point where I decided that if I had to do a Jedi mind trick to make this work than I would try it.

I heard about A New Day Hypnosis on yahoo local and decided to give it a shot. I started noticing results almost immediately after my first meeting. I felt like I was wiping away a lot of the distracting thoughts and had increased mental clarity.

I can go three to four hours without feeling tired. I?ve developed strategies to get myself through tougher questions and I feel more in control because I have much tighter reigns on my goals. I know more about what?s in front of me and I have a much clearer focus on my future.

The most important benefit that I?ve received has been overcoming the mental block and being able to be at peace with what I need to do. I recently took the LSAT again and it was funny because everybody else was standing around freaking out and I felt just fine. It was easy for me to just relax and have fun, which is completely opposite from my last experience with this test. I recommended A New Day Hypnosis to one of my coworkers because I feel so much better about things now and I think that other people can benefit in the same way.

Ratings_icons Hypnosis helped me have fun on my motorcycle

tjmotorcross

I decided to use hypnosis to overcome my fear during motorcycle racing. I?ve always competed in motor cross, but I?ve had problems for the last few years. The fear had become so overwhelming that I wasn?t having fun anymore and I wasn?t motivated to get better. Biking had been my escape from corporate life and when I didn?t have a vehicle to do it, things weren?t working out for me. I was feeling more negative and less confident.

I felt like I couldn?t control some specific aspects of my life and that made me feel more stressed. I tried to meditate and do creative visualization to overcome my problem and they didn?t really work for me. In my mind it worked out, but when I was in the moment I still choked.

I heard about A New Day Hypnosis on citysearch. Laura had a lot of good reviews so I decided to call. I immediately noticed that when I was performing sports I progressed much faster than I had in the last three years. It?s been easy to have the confidence to commit to something and believe in it. I?m more focused now and I have a different way of looking at things, which makes me feel good.

I?m more in control because I?m accomplishing things incrementally and I?m moving forward. Making this change has allowed me to make decisions without over thinking them and taking more risks in my life.

I?ve learned to quiet my mind and I?m noticing patterns in my life that I?m much more in tune with. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who has a limitation in their life. Everyone has some issue that they are trying to overcome and they may not know how to tap into the more cerebral aspect of how to accomplish things.

This process allows you to look at things from the outside in. I?m confident about where I am and my progress. I?ve achieved a lot more than I thought that I would and I?m on another level now. I have a new foundation that I can stand on firmly and I plan on just going further and further from here.

Ratings_icons I've overcome procrastination and poor study habits with hypnosis

dlnorris

I?ve had problems with procrastination and study skills all my life. I always did what I needed to do to meet the minimum requirements, but I?ve always felt that didn?t reach the potential that I could have. Looking back, I feel like it was a loss.

I?ve tried convincing myself over the years that these things would go away and I found that they didn?t. I?d be good for a couple of weeks and then revert back to the old behaviors and make excuses for my mistakes.

The procrastination was really limiting my ability to achieve goals and learn skills. I was stagnant and sitting still and just wishing I could fix these things, that made me feel really restricted in what I could do.
I looked at my options and hypnosis seemed like a good choice. I heard about A New Day Hypnosis when I did an internet search. I saw the listing on citysearch and I decided to call.

I thought is was going to be difficult because I've been a procrastinator for so long, but I found myself not being able to walk away from things and not being able to stop until the job was complete and everything was tidied up and put away. These changes are working in all areas of my life and I?m a much more positive person now. I?m remembering everything that I study and it?s working well. I feel like I can meet the challenge and I look forward to tests.

I?m looking at everything with wide eyes of learning and feeling excited about it. Everything is better and that makes me feel more confident. I?m ready to achieve the things that I?ve been working towards and I have a good positive outlook on my goals.

I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis because there are so many things that can be fixed and adjusted. I know I?ll stay on this path because it makes me feel good to reach my goals, stay focused with my studies, and keep my life organized. There are so many opportunities out there and the big picture is so much clearer and has gotten even bigger for me.

Pros: Very Useful

Ratings_icons Hypnosis helped me with insomnia and anxiety

terridrippingspgs

My problems with insomnia and anxiety started out when I had a really bad respiratory infection and I found myself panicking at night when I couldn?t breathe. All of the sudden I was wigging out. I couldn?t stop the panic and that was really scary for me. There were times when I would have such uncontrollable anxiety that I really felt like I was going crazy. I felt really out of control.

I heard about A New Day Hypnosis from my husband Fred who came to see Laura for help with his insomnia. I figured out where the anxiety was stemming from and hypnosis helped me focus on what to work on. I noticed that I was staying calm and sleeping through the night and it?s been a fairly easy process. I don?t really have to think about it and it?s more natural for me. I notice that if I feel a little anxiousness coming on, I know that I can overcome it. I have tools that can help me so that I?m not lost.

Because I?m sleeping better, I can think more clearly during the day. I?m more productive and focused with work because I have a lot more mental clarity. I don?t feel crazy anymore and I?m making lots of other health improvements, too. I?m drinking more water, eating better, and my exercise has increased. Everything is coming together for me as a whole.

I have a greater sense of control now. If I feel a little anxious or unsettled, I can calm myself down. I feel like I went through a dark tunnel and I?ve come out into the light. I have a more positive outlook because I know that I?ve really accomplished something. I feel more confident because I?m not afraid of change anymore.

The most important thing that I?ve gotten out of this is my sanity. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants help with anxiety and insomnia because I?ve been successful and so has my husband. I feel confident that if I do wake up I can go right back to sleep and that?s been such a relief to me.

Pros: Laura's Great!

Ratings_icons Hypnosis helped me with an embarrassing phobia

stacey2222

I?ve suffered from my fear for the last six years. I heard about A New Day Hypnosis in the Coffee News. I was leery and I didn?t think it would work, but I was at a point where I couldn?t do anything about it on my own.

My problem was progressing to the point where I felt like I couldn?t control it. It been relatively easy. I?ve tried to just overcome it on my own terms. I told myself that it was ridiculous to have this problem, but I couldn?t do it. It had gotten to the point where I would attempt to pleasure my partner and I would gag. It was throwing up without the actual fluid. I would violently gag. It stressed me out because I knew it was going to happen and I couldn't stop it.

I felt like I should be able to overcome it on my own and that increased my frustration and tension. It stressed me out because I knew that it was going to happen. I tried to ignore it for a while and I tried to talk myself out of it and it just made the problem worse.

It affected my romantic life because if oral intercourse was involved I couldn?t relax. My boyfriend was frustrated and that made me more frustrated. I wanted to fix it. it seemed like it should be so easy to fix. The more I tried to fix it the worse it got and it made me feel completely out of control. I feel more in control now. it was the climax that did not work for me. I started to feel anxious just towards the end.

I feel more confident because I know that I can do it. the best benefit for me has been not having the tension of the whole thing. Knowing that it?s over. I had no problem at all.

I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants to overcome this problem because it worked. I feel confident that I?m not afraid of male secretions anymore.

Pros: She made me feel comfortable even though the subject matter was very embarrassing

Ratings_icons I can drive on the highway!

tarainaustin

I?ve had problems with driving-related anxiety for the last twelve years. If I drove on the highway, I would have a panic attack about once a week. One out of every three times I got on the highway, I would panic.

I once had an anxiety attack when I was driving with my husband on a foggy bridge over Lake Michigan in Wisconsin, it was horrible and we had to pull over. Up to that point, my husband hadn?t realized how bad the problem was for me, it shocked him and after that he was always fearful about me driving.

I would try the highway, but I would always have an escape route. I would stay in the right lane if I needed to pull over on the shoulder. I never felt in control, the panic always had control of me. I was always anticipating the fear and the panic whether or not I was driving.

I?ve tried different preparing for my trip well in advance and having supplies on hand. When I started to panic, I would pop a tic-tac or drink some water to help me breathe. It helped me get through it, but I would often have to pull over anyway until I could calm myself down.

I was looking online for hypnotherapy in Austin and I find out about A New Day Hypnosis on yahoo. I noticed a change in my behavior after the first session. I wasn?t planning my routes as much and I was much calmer and I didn?t have a panic attack. I feel more in control now because I can drive anywhere. I?ve done overpasses and I?ve gone on the highway every day since I started this without any problems. I?ve proven to myself that I can change and I know now that I don?t have to live with this anymore.

I overcame this anxiety and accomplished an important goal in my life. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who has anxiety about driving because it works. I?m confident that I?m free of this problem permanently because after living with it for 12 years; I?ve gone four weeks without an incident and that tells it all for me.

Pros: Laura is great!

Ratings_icons I cut out sweets with hypnosis

amy_b77

I?ve struggled with my weight all my life. It kept going up and up, but never went down. I tried pretty much everything; I did Weight Watchers and lost some weight, but ultimately didn?t sustain the weight loss. I tried Jenny Craig for two months and it was short lived because I was always thinking about food and obsessing over it. I tried Adkins and lost a little weight and then gained it all back. I felt like food was controlling me. I ate out of stress and would buy a bag of peppermint patties and they wouldn?t last the day at my office.

I heard about A New Day Hypnosis through citysearch. My mom had used hypnosis for weight loss and had success, so I was motivated to try it. I started to notice changes in my behavior right away; I gave up the sweets at night, which had always been my biggest downfall. Now that the issue with sweets is cured it feels so weird to me. It?s crazy to me because it?s been I?d had this problem for 30 years and now it?s just gone. I feel more in control now and it?s easy for me to avoid sweets.

This process has been very easy, I don?t have the cravings and I don?t think about it. My mind isn?t constantly focused on where my next meal is coming from. I?m exercising a lot more consistently and that?s been great. I?m also doing much better with food at restaurants, which had also been a problem for me. I?ve completely eliminated stress eating and I don?t have to eat sweets to reward myself. Instead, I catch up on my magazines at the gym as a reward for my hard work.

I feel more confident because I can see the change in the way my clothes fit. I can see my progress and feel like my whole life is in control. I know that these changes and my weight loss are permanent because I don?t have to think about anymore, I just do it. I would recommend A New Day hypnosis to anyone who wants a healthier lifestyle because I?ve found a lot of success with it.

Ratings_icons I stopped grinding my teeth with hypnosis

charlottebeth

I?ve suffered from grinding my teeth for at least ten years. I?ve gone through two mouth guards. I talked to the doctor and they didn?t know what to do to help me. I wanted help to stop my tooth grinding, not realizing that it was a result of a much bigger problem. I?d never really connected the grinding with the stress and anxiety that I?d been facing. Stress and anxiety were ruining my life.

I was working way too much and I didn?t have a life during the week. I wasn?t taking the time to do things that I needed to do on my own. Work was so intense and it just never stopped. I felt like a hamster running on the wheel and I wasn?t even able to see what I was running towards. I was so focused on getting everything done and I just kept getting more and more.

I?d told my office mate that my doctor wasn?t helping me with teeth grinding and I wanted to look into hypnosis as an option, so she saw a flyer at the Daily Juice and got me the number. I noticed a complete difference after the first appointment when it came to stress at work. Once I knew what I needed to do it was easy. I don?t have pressure and pain in my chest or headaches anymore and there?s been a dramatic improvement in my quality of life. The pain is gone and I feel better. I don?t feel stressed, excitable, and wound up anymore. Now I?m taking care of myself and my priorities have shifted.

I feel much more in control now. I?ve gotten my life back and my focus is different. Now I can get home and have four or five hours and I don?t have to do anything because my work isn?t my life anymore.

The most important benefit that I?ve received was the realization that the life I was leading wasn?t good for me at all. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants to overcome stress relief and teeth grinding. The hypnosis really helped me to learn how to relax. I?m confident that I have a handle on it and know what I can do to make it better because I?m aware of everything now.

Ratings_icons A New Day Hypnosis helpep stop my chewing tobacco habit

pallred1

I?ve used tobacco for twenty years and as soon as I walked out of the office after my first session, that was it. I was using a can a day and it was constant. I was a ?chain dipper? and used it all day long except when I ate. Halfheartedly, I tried the gum once and tried the patch once; I even tried the patch and the gum together. I would be very anxious and people who worked for me were buying me tobacco within three days.

The thing that prompted me to make a change was when I woke up at 3:00 in the morning and started driving around my very small town in the middle of the night desperately looking for chewing tobacco. At that moment, I realized that it was ruling my life and that it was ridiculous.
I read about A New Day Hypnosis on Citysearch. I liked the other reviews and decided to give it a go.
It?s been two months and it?s really been easy, I?ve been very surprised. Honestly, I walked in there with no expectations.

I have a lot more energy now and I work out a lot more. I feel more confident now because it was this thing that I was ashamed I couldn?t kick. After twenty something years of trying, to actually quit so easily has definitely surprised me and really boosted my self-esteem.

The most important benefit that I?ve gotten from this is the control over my life again. After my success with chewing tobacco, we?ve delved into other parts of my life and that?s helped out a lot.

I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants to stop using tobacco because it works.
I?ve had a few stressful things going on the last couple of months and I?ve been able to handle it without turning to snuff. I thought that going out drinking would be the hardest and it was no problem at all, I didn?t even think about it. I?m confident that I?m tobacco free permanently because I haven?t had any urge; it?s a mindset for me now. Once I?ve done the work, I don?t see any reason to go back to it.

Pros: very helpful

Ratings_icons Hypnosis helped me overcome irrational worry

vm1948

I first came to see Laura because of white coat syndrome, which was a symptom of the inordinate, irrational worry that I?ve suffered from for the last twenty years. I?d always had some anxiety with doctors, but realized that there was a problem when I went to the dentist for a regular cleaning and he wanted to check my heart rate. I started feeling anxious and my accelerated heart rate showed up on my reading. The dentist felt that I may go into cardiac arrest and insisted that I go to the emergency room. After that experience, my anxiety just became escalated into a huge issue for me.

I tried to deny the worry, but I wasn?t successful. I would bury it and then it would become un-buried. It was always in the back of my mind and it was distracting me from the good things in my life. The way my mind works is that it demands to have answers about what is going to happen no matter how late it is or how tired I am. I would go over and over those big, giant metaphysical questions connected with mortality and it was a very difficult thing to deal with.

My wife told me about A New Day Hypnosis and I decided to make an appointment. Laura seemed like she knew what she was doing. She had a nice demeanor and that was really important for me to be able to trust her.

I noticed changes in my behavior immediately. I?m not worrying as much and when I start to worry, I?m able to fix it myself. I?m feeling more confident and more positive now. I notice that when I go to sleep, I sleep soundly without interruption and I don?t wake up as often.

I have a much more rational perception of doctors and I would absolutely recommend Laura?s services to anyone who has problems with anxiety or worry. She has a good demeanor; she?s very soothing and offers a real sense of security. I have hope now and I?m feeling a lot more positive about things. I feel much more in control and know that I?m moving in the right direction.

Ratings_icons I feel much more in control with hypnosis

nelsonwright

I?ve suffered from anxiety since early childhood. I had become an introvert and felt like balling up and getting in the corner. I was anxious and afraid, so I had a lot of doubt and questioned myself. I was truly exhausted with my lifestyle and it was affecting my confidence. I had no social life and I wasn?t maximizing my business effectiveness. I was avoiding things that needed to get done. I sat around a lot more and felt unfulfilled.

I?ve tried working on my problem with different psychologists and they tended to just go in circles. We?d have the same dialogue every time. When I tried to get help from psychiatrists, they just wanted to put a band-aid on the problem with prescription medications.

I heard about A New Day Hypnosis on citysearch. I had some concerns about using hypnosis, but I was desperate and I felt like I?d tried everything else. I was thinking that they would use those cartoon spirals or a swinging watch. After the first session, I noticed that I felt more confident, more positive, and more optimistic.

I feel more in control and I?m able to exert myself in the community and in my business. I enjoy myself more and I?m more relaxed and happier. I?ve made some efforts to improve my exercise and my diet I?ve lost 15 lbs. I almost feel like I?ve got too much energy now. I feel more confident because I?m less anxious.

I?m more extroverted and I?m not worried about what other people think of me. I feel like I could really care less what other people think. I can achieve my goals and have the drive and initiative to concentrate on my plans. I?ve been able to put things back together for myself. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants to work on confidence and drive. I was open to it and I wanted change and improvement. I?m confident that I know how to overcome the symptoms if they creep up. I know that I can do it and I know that I?m a lot more extroverted than I?ve ever been before.

Ratings_icons A New Day stopped my procrastination!

davidez

I?ve been a procrastinator all my life. I?m self employed and would typically procrastinate to the point of awful ramifications. I felt lazy and I was starting to lose money because I spent the day downloading music and checking myspace instead of doing any work. I would threaten myself about making changes and getting on the ball, but they were empty threats and I just ended up wasting more time doing things that weren?t productive. I felt out of control and stressed beyond belief. My procrastination seemed like it was going to spiral out of control and I knew that I needed help.

I heard about Laura on citysearch, but I had some concerns about using hypnosis. I didn?t know anything about it and had only seen those comedy acts where people were clucking like chickens. I called out of curiosity and when I talked to Laura, she set my mind at ease.

Now I work when I want to work instead of putting it off until later. I?m happier and I don?t waste so much time. I feel less stressed and get a lot more done. It?s been a lot easier to change my behaviors because I?m constantly reminded of what I need to be doing.

I have confidence that in the future I?ll continue to stay accountable to myself and stick to a better schedule. The best thing about the process for me has been being able to put things into perspective on where I am now and where I want to be in the future. It?s motivating me to do the work and have those accomplishments. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who has problems with procrastination because I?ve really benefited from it. I?m a harder worker now and I?m confident that I?m smarter about things and that I?ll continue to be successful and stay on top of my responsibilities.

Ratings_icons Laura has changed my life for the better!

eschiff

I?ve struggled with weight issues for the last ten years. I always felt like I couldn?t get on top of it, I couldn?t have any control over it, and that the food had power over me. I?ve tried Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Nutrisystem, starvation, Adkins, and calorie reduction. I always had the typical results; I had short term success and then gained the weight back and more. I felt like I was hanging on by my fingernails. It was a constant struggle for me.

I felt completely out of control. I would stop for fast food two or three times a day. My car would automatically turn into the drive through even when I said that I wouldn?t. The last couple of years were the worst point of my life.

I learned about A New Day Hypnosis when I did a google search. When I met with Laura, she was easy to talk to and really understood what I was trying to do. After the first session, I felt a boost in positive feelings and noticed some changes in my behavior. I felt a lot calmer and started to want better foods. It?s been one of the easiest things that I ever did. It requires effort and attention, but my mind has changed and that?s the biggest difference. I have more energy and want to exercise more.

I feel so much more in control now. I make better choices and I feel better about who I am.I know that I can do anything that I want and that understanding has expanded past the food and into other things in my life. This has been such a bigger experience for me that I?d ever imagined. I came here for a particular reason and it turned into a life changing event for me.

This was the push that my brain needed to talk myself into doing all the things that I can do.The experience has let me know that I have what it takes to continue to do the work that I need to stay healthy. Laura has provided so much more than what I expected. I see things in me and have learned things about myself that I never thought I was going to learn. It?s been life changing.

Ratings_icons I quit my pack a day habit with A New Day Hypnosis

erikaj81

I was a smoker for about ten years and smoked a pack of American Spirit Blacks every day. I haven?t had a cigarette for about a month now. In the past, I didn?t notice that I was out of control until I tried removing cigarettes. I wasn?t in conscious control of anything. I would think to myself that I really didn?t want a cigarette, but I?d have one anyway.

I tried the patch and the gum to stop smoking and it was very bad for me. The patch made my arm go numb, my left hand got cold and my heart started beating really fast. I got really, really scared and stopped using it. The gum made my cheek fall asleep.

My mom quit smoking with hypnosis a long time ago, so I thought it might work for me. I?d been talking to people who had tried hypnosis and a friend told me that if I could daydream than I was a good candidate, so I figured that I might as well try it. I found Laura on citysearch and she had a really good rating, so I decided to make an appointment. I was worried about how deep I was going to go because you see strange things in movies and I was concerned about losing control of the process.

I thought that this was going to be the most difficult thing in my entire life and it wasn?t bad. I really surprised myself with how easily I was able to quit. I?ve been able to run, which I couldn?t do before and I feel a lot calmer. I had a pinched nerve in my back and now that?s gone away because my circulation has gotten so much better. I don?t need cigarettes to relax anymore and I feel much more in control now.

The most important benefit for me has been the confidence that I?ve gained. I?ve always thought of myself as a confident person, but I realize now that I wasn?t all that confident about my decisions. I?ve recommended A New Day Hypnosis to several people that I know because it?s been great for me. I?m confident that I?m a nonsmoker permanently because I never think about it in my daily life because it isn?t a part of me anymore.

Pros: Laura is a great listener

Ratings_icons I'm a better student because of hypnosis

michellescience

I?ve had bad study skills since high school. I noticed that I was susceptible to all the distractions around me. I would get frustrated and overwhelmed. I lost focus easily and just gave up. It was making me sad because I knew that I wouldn?t be able to reach my goals and make the grades that I needed to get accepted into grad school. I felt very negative and very much like I wasn?t reaching my full potential. I knew I could do better, but I just wasn?t there. Half of the hours that I had spent studying were wasted on day dreaming and drifting. I tried to identify the problem myself and fix it, but I couldn?t do it.

I decided that I needed help, so when I saw a flyer for A New Day Hypnosis at UT, I called to schedule an appointment. My understanding of hypnosis is that it is the power of suggestion, so I thought it might help me.

I noticed results immediately because my concentration was a lot better. I didn?t realize how out of focus that I had been and from that point on everything seemed to start falling into place. I was able to identify things that I was doing and notice when I started to drift off or lose focus. When I learned to focus more, it was easy to absorb more information and really learn.

I?m staying in the now and sticking with it. I?m handling my stress better. It?s been pretty easy to buckle down and just do it. I realize now that I need to take things one thing at a time. I?m more focused and organized and I feel more in control. I also notice that my concentration is much better.

I would recommend Laura?s services to anyone who wants to improve their study skills because she personalizes it and takes individual experiences and limitations and works with them. I really feel like she understands my situation. I?m now really confident that I have some big-time tools to help me overcome this. I am going to continue to limit my distractions and I know that I can do it because I?m staying so focused and determined.

Pros: Understands students

Ratings_icons Hypnosis helped me pay attention to food choices

caseyisalto

I?ve struggled with my weight for the last five years. It started to bother me lately because I knew I was going into high school and I wanted to start fresh. I always had this thing in my head telling me that I needed to do something about it, so I tried different diets. I didn?t like having to count points or cut out food groups and I just felt like I had no options with what I could eat, it was frustrating. I knew what I was supposed to do, but I just didn?t do it.

My mom did an internet search and found A New Day Hypnosis. After we talked about it, I decided that I wanted to make an appointment. I noticed changes pretty quickly. I was paying more attention to what I was eating and it wasn?t hard for me. I?m more athletic and energetic and I?m practicing for basketball and volleyball when I?m at home. I?ve noticed that my clothes are baggier and everything is a little bit too big for me now. I feel more in control now and I?m aware of what I?m eating and how much I?m eating. I?m making the right choices and I don?t overeat and snack, I?m also drinking a lot more water.

I feel more confident. I used to wear a jacket all the time to try and cover up and now I don?t do that anymore. I?m more social and I do more things with friends on weekends instead of staying at home. I?ve also been participating more when I?m in class.

I?m paying attention more to what?s in foods and avoiding the things that are bad for me. Hypnosis has helped me make more thought out decisions. I know that these changes and my new lifestyle will be permanent because I have a strong focus on my goals and I want to sustain that focus. I would recommend A New Day hypnosis because it?s worked for me. When I heard about hypnosis I?d always thought that it was somebody just telling you what to do, but that?s not how it?s been at all. Laura is open and she really listens and works to help me find solutions. I?m more focused and feel really motivated about staying that way.

Pros: Laura is fun to work with

Ratings_icons I stopped a 23 year addiction with hypnosis

craig_f

I?ve been a smoker for 23 years and I was smoking almost a pack a day when I decided to quit. I?ve now been tobacco free for two months. I?ve tried the nicotine patch, but then I would just smoke while I was on the patch. I quit cold turkey a couple of times.

I felt like the nicotine controlled me and dictated my life. If I went to a business meeting, I had to be sure to wash my hands and bring my breath mints. Smoking gave me this pervading sense of gloom and I always felt like I was weak. Before I left the house I had to have my cigarettes with me and sneak outside because I didn?t want my kids to see me. When it comes to something as difficult as stopping smoking, I knew that I needed all the help I could get so I did a google search for hypnosis in Austin and found A New Day Hypnosis.

I quit smoking after the first session. Every day gave me a little more confidence and now I feel entirely separated from the addiction. The hypnosis has helped me to relax and remind myself of what I?m trying to do and keep focused on my goal. Subconsciously, hypnosis reinforced the good habits and now that I don?t have to hide my habit, I feel so relieved.

Hypnosis was the impetus to get me over the the addiction. I have a better sense of well being and I feel a lot more in control. I?m breathing better and it?s been great because I have a lot more energy. I can take a deep breath and walk up a flight of stairs without becoming winded.

I would definitely recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants to stop smoking. When you make yourself more aware and these behaviors become a part of you it?s one more tool that you have to fight the addiction.

I like the way that I feel about myself and I can?t imagine myself ever going back to smoking. I?ve been to bars and I?ve gone through all the situations that would have caused me to relapse and I haven?t done it, so that reinforces the fact that I know that I can do it.

Ratings_icons A skeptic found success with stopping smoking

tieddowntraveler

I?ve been a smoker for 18 yrs and I haven?t had a cigarette for about two months now. I?ve tried to quit smoking with cold turkey and it didn?t work for me. I was able to quit during my pregnancy, but I started smoking pretty much immediately after my son was born. I never tried the patch or gum because for me it was more about the habit. I could go without the nicotine, but when I made the decision that I wanted a cigarette there was no stopping me. I felt out of control and it was very uncomfortable. I wanted control of my own life and I didn?t feel like I had that.

You hear people say all the time that they just put down the cigarettes, but that wasn?t me. In the past, I would be pulling my hair out and white-knuckling and pretty much driving everyone around me to distraction. I?ve actually had people thrust cigarettes at me before and make me start smoking again because my behavior was so bad.

I heard about A New Day Hypnosis when my girlfriend found it on the internet. I saw Laura?s interview on The Austinist and read more about her. I liked the fact that she got very good ratings from everybody who?d worked with her.

I had a little bit of concern about using hypnosis because not everyone is trustworthy, so I started out feeling a little bit suspicious. Everyone walks into situations like this with a little bit of skepticism, but it was nice to find that Laura was trustworthy and professional.

I quit after the first session. I noticed that I had fewer cravings and a better attitude. I feel more in control now and more confident because I?ve accomplished something for myself. The most important benefit for me has been getting the nudge that I needed to quit. I would recommend a New Day Hypnosis because it?s helped me and that?s kind of a big deal based on my experiences trying to quit in the past. I?m confident that I?m not going to pick this up again because I?ve gone this long and I feel really good about it.

Pros: Trustworthy

Ratings_icons A New Day Hypnosis helped me quit smoking after thirty years!

susanw51

I?d been a pack a day smoker for about thirty years and I?ve been tobacco free for a month now. I?ve tried the patch, willpower, and smokers anonymous to quit. I used the patch on and off for three years. It alleviated cravings, but not for the whole day, I would put it on in the morning and still want a cigarette in the evening. I chewed the gum once and hated it. I tried willpower and lasted maybe three days at the most. I thought about it all the time and I felt a lot of anxiety.

I got some success with smokers anonymous, but eventually went back to cigarettes. I had this tense, anxious energy that always went into quitting and sometimes seemed worse than just continuing to smoke. Even though I knew that it was so bad for my health, it was very unattractive, expensive, and smelled horrible, I just couldn?t stop and that made me feel out of control.

I?d heard Ellen DeGeneres say that she quit smoking with hypnosis and it was easy, so I looked up A New Day Hypnosis on citysearch to see if I could get some success with it. I decided to call when I read that Laura had won the ?Hypnotist of the Year? award. I still had concerns because I?d been smoking so many years and couldn?t believe that it would work, but it did.

I started to notice changes immediately. I didn?t have cravings or feel any anxiety. I noticed that I didn?t automatically think that I need to have a cigarette when I was handling stressful situations. I?m more in control now because I?ve left this behind me.

This experience has truly felt magical for me. It?s unbelievable that it could work like this. I would absolutely recommend A New Day Hypnosis because it?s worked for me. I?ve been able to embrace new ways of being that are healthy and produce more self-esteem. I have a great deal of confidence about this change and a real sense of gratitude. I really appreciate all the energy and effort that Laura puts into her work because this has really helped me.

Pros: Really Wonderful

Ratings_icons Hypnosis helped me overcome my fears

b_wise

I began having problems with anxiety in 1980 and it?s been on and off since then. I had been able to make progress, but recently it was getting to the point where I noticed that things were started to slide back. I was having panic attacks related to different driving situations and things were getting out of control; I was constantly worried about nothing specific and felt a tense feeling, but couldn?t really identify the source.

Anything that involved going outside of a certain geographic range would become a big problem for me. My stomach was in knots and I had a real sense of edginess, which wasn?t a comfortable way to live. I?ve tried medication and generalized talk therapy to fix my problem. The outcome was pretty good, but I hadn?t been able to overcome that final hurdle. I?d already begun work on my problem, but I needed something to speed it along.

I saw a flyer for A New Day Hypnosis at Bookpeople. After meeting with Laura, I began to notice less anxiety and fewer unwanted thoughts. As time has gone on, it?s gotten easier and easier. I feel more relaxed and making changes hasn?t been too difficult for me.

I definitely feel more in control now. I?m going more places that I haven?t gone and it?s getting easier each time. I feel good and have a sense of normalcy again. The general anxiety is gone and I feel more confident because I can go places and know that it?s not a big deal. A long-time friend is getting married in Arlington this year and the best benefit of this experience for me is the fact that I?ll be able to fly there and not feel panicked about it or worried that it will be a huge ordeal.

I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis because I?ve found it effective. I like the fact that I can listen to my CDs whenever I want to. I am confident that I?ll be able to explore more of Austin and go farther without worrying about it and it?s such a relief for me.

Pros: Professional

Ratings_icons Laura helped me sleep again!

fballard

I?ve had problems with sleep for the last two years. Sometimes I took a couple of Benadryl to sleep and once a guy let me have a Lunesta to try and sleep, It didn?t work and I still woke up without being able to go back to sleep.

I?ve tried meditating on my own and I couldn?t settle down. Not getting enough sleep was really impacting my life; I would get tired and couldn?t think through issues. I was frustrated and really short-tempered with myself. I just felt something was out of control. I always felt kind of cranky and really tired and it showed.

I heard about A New Day Hypnosis online. I?d done hypnosis before for stress and similar issues, so I thought I would try it again. I noticed that she had a good rating and I felt comfortable on the phone. Being able to get eight hours of sleep instead of four has really improved things. I?ve had joint problems in the past and now my joints feel fine, which is pretty amazing. I can deal with stress from my job easily and I?m not getting distracted and frustrated. I also notice that I have a lot more energy. Now if I wake up, I?ll go back to sleep.

After we took care of my sleeping problems, we did some work on my beliefs about abundance. I?d always been taught that I shouldn?t expect to have wealth and part of what we worked on was feeling deserving of it. There has been a very basic, deep down change in my attitude and sense of deserving and confidence and I notice the way that it plays out in everything that I do.

I realize now that everything is going to work out and if it doesn?t, I?ll work it out. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis because it worked for me. The person that you work with has to have something more than just training. Laura is very empathic and good at what she does. Through hypnosis you can reconnect with your goals and remind yourself that it?s all there for you. Removing my obstacles has given me the confidence to know that this is permanent.

Pros: Great Energy

Ratings_icons A New Day helped me get organized!

alicaao

I?ve had problems with organization and procrastination all my life. I?ve always over committed and had a hard time saying no to things. In the past, I?ve tried to change by reading self-help books. I?d get off to a great start, clean my office, and then it would just be back to the same mess; simply reading about it was not enough for me.

My lack of order and unrealistic expectations have kept me constantly running, struggling and having to make excuses for not being on time or ready when I said that I would be. It?s kept me anxious and irritates the dickens out of my husband.

I?d thought about counseling as an approach, but my experience has been that counselors are often looking for a deep rooted trauma or issue. I wanted an easy way to get things done quickly and thought that hypnosis might be an approach that would work for me. After our initial visit, I liked Laura?s style. She was directive but in a way that didn?t pressure me to come up with answers, instead asking me to reflect on my own behavior.

I feel more in control now because I have a way of looking at things and working on doing something about my situation. It?s given me a greater sense of control and focus and I feel less stress. I?ve also noticed that I?m using the word ?realistically? more often and that has helped me greatly.

My desk is still clear and I?m cleaning it regularly. I know what I?m supposed to be doing and there?s satisfaction in crossing things off my list. It feels good to be able to grab a folder and run and open the folder and have what I need. I have a real sense of relief now.

I know that I have to control my behavior and that the answer is within my power. I would definitely recommend Laura?s services because she is very pragmatic and direct in terms of facing the issues, so I?ve never felt like I?m wasting time getting to the issues. I?m now confident that I can do this and I?ve made so much progress already that I'm certain of future success.

Pros: Great Approach

Ratings_icons I quit a ten year smoking habit

buffy34

I?ve been tobacco free for a month now. My smoking drove other people crazy because I was so incessant about it. I?ve tried the patch and it made me nauseated, I lowered the dosage and it didn?t help. With the gum, I got really sick of the mint taste and felt like if I was having nicotine anyway, I might as well smoke. I also quit cold turkey when I was pregnant, but wanted a cigarette every day. When my daughter stopped breast feeding I went right back to smoking and have continued ever since.

I knew that it was time to quit and it had to happen. My Step dad told me that hypnosis had been wonderful for him with stopping smoking and I decided that it was worth a shot. Hypnosis has helped eliminate the urges, the cravings and desire for a cigarette. Since quitting, I?ve noticed that my energy level is through the roof. I can breathe now and I can walk. I?m even exercising for the first time in ten years!

Hypnosis not only helped me quit smoking, but also helped me change my way of thinking about my life. I?ve tried counseling, exercise, and medications, but I was always stuck with the same issues. With the help of hypnosis, I?ve been able to open my eyes to a lot of things and think about life differently.

My most important benefits from A New Day Hypnosis have been letting go of my negative beliefs and changing my outlook, having more energy, and having more quality time with my daughter because I don?t have to worry about hiding to go smoke cigarettes. I?m having fun and not overanalyzing everything and I?m really enjoying my life.

I?ve recommended Laura?s services to lots of people because it works. No matter what I?ve tried in the past, nothing comes close to what hypnosis has done for me. I?m confident that I?m a nonsmoker permanently because I?ve made the choice for myself. I used to believe my excuses and now I don?t anymore. I feel empowered and know that I can do this and stick with it.

Pros: Great Location!

Ratings_icons I quit smoking after 20 years

mark41

I?d been a smoker for 20 years and I?ve been tobacco free for three months now. I was smoking a pack a day and I thought that because of the stress of my job there was no way that I could ever quit. I?d tried quitting with willpower alone and it was always a battle, I was just looking for justification to go back to smoking. I?d try, give up, and try again and it never worked out. I felt frustrated that I was spending money on something that was killing me. After a while I just felt like an idiot, but I couldn?t stop. Cigarettes were the mortar between the bricks for me. I thought that it was holding me together.

I quit after my first session. It was surprisingly easy. I?ve found that I don?t get as upset and I?m a lot more even keel now. I feel better about myself and I?m proud because I?ve been trying forever and have been amazed that I did it.

Hypnosis has calmed me down and everyone around me has been amazed. The temptation to smoke has never been the Battle Royale that I remembered when I?d quit in the past. My level of desire to smoke has been equivalent to a movie that you kind of wanted to see, but the show was sold out. It was just an ?oh well, that?s kind of a bummer? type of feeling. I would sometimes feel temptation, but it was always manageable.

I feel much more in control now. Hypnosis has eliminated the urges and cravings for me. I can?t believe the ease of achieving something that after repeated attempts I hadn?t been able to achieve on my own.
I would recommend Laura?s services in a heartbeat to anyone who wants to stop smoking. Hypnosis has helped me to rise above the limitations that I believed about myself. Unfortunately, four days after I quit smoking, I faced one of the hardest losses that I could endure when my dog of thirteen years died, but I still didn?t break. I?ve faced such a huge test and survived it, so now I?m confident that I?m a nonsmoker permanently.

Pros: Very Talented

Ratings_icons I can SLEEP because of hypnosis!

amy_r

I?ve had bad sleep habits since college and I remember having to make up sleep when I was working too hard, but my problem was manageable until the last two years. I spent my Spring Break vacation trying to get the grading done and the reports turned in, so I stayed up late that whole week. After that, I couldn?t sleep anymore. I would try to do things that would make me sleepy. I took hot baths, I took deep breaths, and I would read and try not to think about it. I?d get tired, fall asleep, and then wake up again or I would end up reading until 2am.

I?d tried listening to guided relaxation CDs and they didn?t do anything for me, so eventually my doctor prescribed a sleep medication. . Sleep was all that I focused on and I was tired regardless of what I did or what I tried. I could usually make it through the week, but by the time it got to Thursday I would depend on Ambien to fall asleep at night and Ritalin during the day to stay awake. I I couldn?t see any way out of the pattern.

I heard about Laura from my doctor who suggested her services when I told him that I wanted to get rid of the Ambien. The first time that I met with her, I realized that there were a lot of things that I hadn?t been seeing and working on my insomnia revealed some other things for me to work on and improve in my life.

At this point, I haven?t used any sleep medication in a month and it?s been great for me because I've noticed that I have a lot more energy. I feel confident now because I know that I can get to sleep on my own. I?m now able to sleep iwith my husband without being disturbed by his breathing or moving around and I can even sleep with the TV on in the next room. I would definitely recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone with insomnia because there?s been a lot more to it than just overcoming my problem with sleep. I?m confident that this is permanent because I?m able to sleep restfully on my own and that?s been a miracle for me.

I?ve smoked off and on for around twenty years. I was able to quit for a while, but I went back to smoking because I was under the impression that I could try it again and drop it. I felt out of control and it was frustrating. I knew that I really needed to quit and I knew that I needed to get to a place where I wanted to quit, but I couldn?t seem to get myself there.

I found out about A New Day Hypnosis on citysearch. There were a ton of amazing reviews and she was the highest rated hypnotherapist on the list. I realized that what I was doing on my own wasn?t working and I figured that if all of these people had had success, I should try it out. I didn?t have a lot of expectations and I didn?t really expect it to work. I wanted to just try something different and see what would happen.

I had a lot of misconceptions about what hypnosis was and I had some apprehension. I?m fairly stubborn, so it took a little time for me to get into the mindset of wanting to quit. I felt better after my first session and without really noticing I cut my smoking in half. I went back into the mindset that I?d had when I quit the last time.

I feel much more in control now. My mindset has changed and I just genuinely don?t want to smoke. I feel more confident because the momentary urge is much weaker than my desire to stay tobacco free. I?ve always found that the psychological attachment to cigarettes has been the biggest part of the addiction for me. Hypnosis has helped me to break that bond and once I was able to do that, stopping smoking was easy. Days will go by and I haven?t even thought about it at all, which has been really surprising to me.

I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants to stop smoking because it works and it?s painless. I?m confident that I have changed my mindset and I know better than going back to smoking. It was absolutely worth it for me and it?s been a great experience overall.

Pros: convenient location, very professional

Ratings_icons I overcame my fear of needles with hypnosis

cello_princess

I?ve been afraid of needles for as long as I can remember. My mom told me that when I was six months old I was getting my vaccinations and had a hysterical fit; I was sweating, panting, and screaming. I started to realize that my problem was becoming more serious when I recently had a TB skin test. I thought that I?d psyched myself out enough that I wouldn?t react and I made it through my appointment okay, but the feelings just came over me as soon as I got in the car to leave the doctor?s office.

My vision started going dim, I started sweating and breathing really hard and my heart was pounding. I had the radio blasting in my car and it was almost like someone was turning it down because I couldn?t hear anything. I was in traffic on I35 and I pulled over into a Wendy?s, I barely remember stumbling into the restaurant and passing out on the trash can. After my experience at Wendy?s, I realized that I needed help. I decided to meet with Laura because she seemed so confident that it would work. I overcame my fear after the first session. The change was effortless; I didn?t even know that it had stopped until I was at my appointment in the doctor?s office. When the doctor put the needle in my arm it was like I didn?t feel it. He held my arm up to my face so that I could see the needle in my arm and I didn?t think anything of it. It almost seemed microscopic to me. I?m just shocked at the way that I can see needles and not have any reaction at all now.

I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants to make changes, but doesn?t know how to do it on their own. I?m confident that I?ve overcome this permanently because it was something that I?d been afraid of my entire life and it worked in one day. It has been amazing and I?ve seen significant change in a relatively short period of time. I feel fine around needles and a lot more in control of my life.

Ratings_icons A New Day Hypnosis made me a believer

lana_analyst

I?ve struggled with my weight for the last 20 years and it?s been very stressful. I?ve tried dieting and exercise at different times in my life, but I?ve never had any luck sticking to a system. I?d go through the diet or exercise until I got down to the size I wanted to be and then I?d go back to living my life and gain it all back. I?d be too tired or get out of the habit of exercising and just give up. I felt out of control and it was scaring me because I saw the direction that I was heading in.

It?s been an easy process for me. There has been a subtle shift in the way that I think and now this is just the way that I live my life. I drink lots of water, I work out every day, and I?m not snacking anymore. I don?t crave sweets and I don?t miss them. Right now, I?m going through a huge stressful thing and I haven?t craved chocolate. I actually find myself craving healthier foods and fast food doesn?t even sound good to me anymore.

I?ve gone down almost a clothing size so far and I have so much more energy. I feel more in control and it?s so much better. I have more confidence because I?m achieving what I want to do instead of just giving in to old habits and beating myself up about it.

Stress doesn?t affect me in the same way. I just try to relax and I?m more reasonable instead of jumping to the worst case scenario all the time. Hypnosis has helped me to eliminate snacking, binging, and overeating. I?m better equipped to deal with cravings. I?ll have a bite to get the reward of the taste without eating a whole piece of cake.

The best thing about this has been the change in my mindset. I have a healthy life plan and I put my own health and happiness first. I know that these changes will be permanent because this is the way that I plan on living the rest of my life. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis because it?s helped me and I?m stubborn. I know that if this can help me than it can help anybody.

Ratings_icons A New Day Hypnosis helped me create a Healthy Lifestyle

I?ve gone down 1 ? clothing sizes and I?m on my way to my next set of jeans. I?d always been kind of big, but I?ve really struggled with my weight for the last six years. I?ve tried lots of things to lose weight, I?ve done The Firm workout, but I didn?t stick with it. I did the low carb diet and I hated everything. I tried Slim Fast and that just made me crave sugar.

I did the South Beach Diet, but it involved a lot of cooking and a lot of vegetables, so that didn?t work out so well. Sometimes I felt out of control. If I got upset or nervous, the first thing I thought about was going to get food. It wasn?t a snack cake; it was a box of snack cakes. It wasn?t a candy bar; it was a bag of candy bars. I was a Mopey McMoperton and I used to sit around and feel sorry for myself with my frosted donuts.

When I met with Laura she was really easy to talk to. I felt comfortable and it seemed like she wanted to help me. I didn?t feel pressured by her and I respected her opinions about my situation. I noticed in the first week that I was drinking a lot more water and I noticed pretty soon after that I had more confidence about not eating sweets. My stress levels also became a lot lower.

I let go of my defeatist attitude and now if I get frustrated and upset, I try and identify what?s making me upset and see if I can change it. It?s nice to be able to go to the grocery store and see a dozen cinnamon rolls on sale without wanting to take them home. I?m happier and it?s easier to laugh.

I always feel better after my sessions and it?s a good boost for me. It has helped me gain a better perspective on things and I feel more in control and much more hopeful. I?m confident that I?ll do better this time because I?ve learned a lot and faced facts. I?ve figured out a way to eat that will get my body what it needs without making me absolutely miserable. I?m a lot more realistic about what I am willing to do for the long term and that makes me feel good.

Pros: Really Supportive
