The service technicians are inexperienced and the owner is unethical. After a week of having my TV repaired it quit working. After setting several appointments to have it fixed again, nobody ever showed up. Several calls to the owner got me nothing but excuses and lies. Needless to say, it is now 6 months later and my TV is still not repaired!!!!

They never call back and when you call they always put on hold for long time and they give the runaround! I wasn't informed about tv till I had to go ask in person. They couldn't even locate my paperwork. I had to wait for tech to look at my tv while I was their. Even though my tv had been there for 6wks. The owner & manager has no class.

Four months ago I purchased a 42"flat screen from Sanyo. After one month of blaming the cable, I finally succumbed to Sanyo. Considering that Sanyo is supposed to be a technological firm, Sanyo corporate only communicated by fax and the longest damn recorded messages to J&K. Anyone who has ever blamed J&K for lengthy waits probably needs to check their manufacturer. Anyhow, these people were polite, dependable and on time. I would definitly use them again, and anyone who knows me knows that I am not easily pleased! Great job J&K!

Stay away from this shop. The service technicians are inexperienced and the owner is unethical.
After a week of having my TV repaired, it quit working. I made several appointments to have it looked at again, however nobody ever showed up. The owner insisted that someone showed up, however I was home all day.
It is now almost 6 months later, and my TV has still not been repaired.

If you have a difficult Hardware Tech problem, go see these guys! They fixed a DVD player that ONLY worked in conjunction with a TV in less than one day! In addition, it cost about 25% of what the manufacturer was going to charge me. Cameras, TVs, DVD Players, etc. if they're broke, bring them here first! And note, Really, get all your broken gadgets and see if they are worth fixing, you won't be disappointed.

I cannot recommend J&K Electronics strongly enough. I had a broken DLP TV which I needed serviced, and they were quick and efficient in diagnosing the problem, they were even open on a holiday for me to bring the unit in! Once they had diagnosed the problem, I was given a very fair quote for repairs, and my service throughout the entire ordeal was extremely nice. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly , and I will be going back there the next time anything breaks. Highly recommended

Words do not exist that can adequately describe the bad experience that I've had with this place. I concur with the person that said that the good reviews are obviously written by employees (or possibly their family members). They are absolutely the most unprofessional group of people with whom I have ever done business. They lie to their customers without conscience. They lied to Philips. They lied to me. They probably lie to their own mothers. After four months my TV was still not repaired. They damaged my TV while trying to "repair" it. They ordered the wrong parts twice and then I found out the parts they were ordering were not the right parts to begin with. They are woefully incompetent. Their customer service is non-existent and they do not care that it is non-existent. Do not ever use these people.

Exceptionally bad service.They don't do what they say. Initially when the technician took the TV chassis on wednesday a month ago, he told me that he would call me byfriday or monday. two fridayus and Two mondays went by , no
one called. when we called them , they have no information at all.we waited 1 more week and when we called again them as to what is happenning , the lady at the reception called the techincian and he was so rude that he was accussing us that instead of talking to us he would have fixed the tv. We did not ask the lady to call the techincian. We asked for information as to what is the situation. When they finaaly found the problem,they called us to see if they can goahead with the repair.We called them the next day and asked them to go ahead with the repair. When we called a week later they tell us we did not give them our consent.They never make notes, i am planning to donate some stationary to them.
And still we don't have the TV even after 7 weeks.
Never ever call these guys for your repairing needs.

Don't think about using this company

I wouldn't use this company again even if it was the last repair company left. I had an appointment scheduled with them to come and look at my tv. They never showed up at the appointed time. No phone call, no nothing. When I called and asked why I got same lame excuse about they just received a fax from my warranty company requesting my tv be fixed. Funny thing though the appointment was made through my warranty company over 1 week ago. They (my warranty company) even gave me the name and phone number of the company that was suppose to come and fix my tv. Their excuse for not showing up was that they had to get approval for extra mileage since they were out of the area that i was living in. Whatever!!!!!!. I'll never use these people again. I'll throw my tv out in the trash before trying to use these people again.

An awful company

So I was having a slight problem with my tv. The company I got it from recommended J&K. So they came out and told me I could fix it myself with super glue. I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure that would void my warranty. I told the guy I didn't want to do that. He tells me that they will have to take the tv into the shop and IT COULD TAKE UP TO TEN DAYS. I thought "well that stinks", but at least it would be fixed right. TWO WEEKS later, I haven't heard anything, so I call. They tell me that parts are on order and will be here next week. Ok, whatever, it's getting fixed. THIRD WEEK, I call, parts are on order and will be here next week. Somethings not right here. FOURTH WEEK, parts are on order and will be here next week. What the heck! I finally get fed up and call the company who made the tv. They tell me that J&K HAS NOT EVEN ORDERED THE PARTS and they decide to give me an exchange. That's great, but I still have to get my tv back from J&K. But, big suprise, J&K tells me they can't get it back to me for another week. So that's a total of five weeks to fix a problem that supposedly could have been fixed with super glue. Can they do anything right?
So lets recap: They wanted me to void my warranty, they let my tv collect dust for five weeks, and they straight up lied to me. Call me crazy, but I don't think I will be recommending this awful company to anyone.

I can not reccommend these guys enough. Two weeks ago, the light on my mitsubishi started flashing. Mitsu recommended J&K. They called me up two days later to set up the service call. They came out, looked at it, and had to order a fmb board? Something along those lines. One week later, they were back, installed the board, and now my tv works just as well as before!

J&K gets 1 unsatisfied star from me! I will NEVER call these people out to my house again!!! They have the worse customer service, there employees are RUDE and have no clue what is going on! They lie everytime they open their mouths! I called them because Mitsubishi sent me to them for the repair work on my TV. I wish I would have looked them up before I called and I would have not used them if I had. They picked up my TV on July 30, 2007 and today is November 07, 2007 and I still do not have my TV. I called them a hundred times and everytime they either did not know what the status was or where the TV was. They were never able to find the paper work half the time and when they did find it they still did not know the status. I called yesterday to finally tell them to just please send back my TV without fixing and all of a sudden after I told them to return my money they realized "oh your TV is fixed, when can we deliver it." This will be the second time they come to deliver the TV to my house. The first time they delivered it, it did not work and the technichian took it apart in my livingroom and figured out he was not able to fix it and put it back together. Well he almost put it back together because when they left I vacuumed about 10 screws that should have been with the TV, but instead were left on my livingroom floor. I told him maybe if they had tried it at the shop before bringing it out to the house they could have saved themselves a trip and he argued with me that he did try it in the shop and it worked. If it worked at the shop before bringing it out then you broke it on they way? He of course denied that he broke it. He was the biggest idiot I have ever had to deal with. All I kept thinking was why I am letting this idiot take my TV back. I did and now finally after 3 months I have my figures crossed that the TV is working and I will not have to deal with them EVER AGAIN! If you are reading this before you call them then be smart and call someone else!!!

Well folks, I am here to tell you that all of the bad reviews on J&K Electronics are 100% true. After about 10 weeks I am finally getting my TV. After countless phone calls to them and Circuit City (I blame them also) and hearing part is on back order and will be here any day now it is finally over. But of course the TV has not made it to my house yet. Poor customer service on phone, rude people answering the phone. Even after all of this I made it a point to call them to remind them to bring a dolly because the TV will be going upstairs and she told me we don't own a dolly.

i had a panasonic plasma that has no power i call panasnic they gave me J&K electronics phone numberm i called them rightaway , a gentel men called gus answered the phone i explained the problem that i am having with my TV , he told me give me two days and he wil contact me, next day received a phone call and email from his office saying that the part has been oredered and will have it 2nd day shipping, then the following day i received a phone call and an email saying that the tech will be at ur house this afternoon if that is convinent to u and at the same day 2:45 pm two guys came to my house there were very polite and professional installed my parts and TV was fix...i really approciate what J&K did to my TV as a service and i recommand J&K electronics.......

Worst Buisness Ever

I don't even know where to start with this company. This company is the worst possible company to do business with. First Off they picked up my television, told me they were waiting on parts. One month goes by i would call about every week checking the status on my part. Excuse after excuse. Finally they tell me my part is on back order and they would go ahead with an exchange and replace my tv with a new one. Which i was happy with this result i would rather have new then fixed. But come to find out the lady in the front office tells me she ships it. So i ask her for a tracking number so she tells me she will get it to me tomorrow. so i call nothing. next day oh shes not in, next day she cant find it. Finally after a week. I start to think something isnt right about this so i contact the owner and come to find out the lady has lied to me. She never shipped the tv they never worked on the tv. As far as they know my tv isn't even broke it was just sitting in the shop the entire time with dust building on it. So we had to get my TV Company to call this Company to get the things sorted out. So i had to ship it myself and everything is fine now and my tv company dropped this joke of a company's Contract. Worst Company Ever. Dont use these people for anything

J & K Electronics is the Worst !! I don't know how they got four stars when 4 of 6 reviews gave them one star. I took my Panasonic DVD Recorder there under factory warranty. After 2 weeks I called to find out when it would be fixed. They didn't even know they had it. After half an hour on hold, they said it was waiting for parts. After 3 months of constant calling and getting nowhere ("working on it now, technician not available, call back tomorrow, etc. etc.") they finally admitted they couldn't fix it. I had to tell them to request a replacement. 2 weeeks later (now a total of three and a half months) they received the replacement. Never ever once did they return a call. Fortunately Panasonic called me and told me the new unit had been delivered to J & K five days earlier. I called J & K, they told me they were still waiting for the replacement. I told them that they did in fact have it. Finally someone bothered to look and they found it. LAZY !!!

I have a warranty on my Mitsubishi TV and the Warranty Company sent me to this joke of a company. After nearly a month and several calls, I never received a call back. Finally today I get a call and call the company back and the person booking the service still can not find my warranty repair information. I questioned them about the time it took to call me, and they blamed it on a bad number. They said it was my fault! I am taking my TV to someone that knows what customer service is and understands the importance of speed and reliability.

Worst service EVER!

They took my TV over a month ago for repair. I kept being put off. After calling Toshiba to complain, I was told it was unacceptable to them that it was taking so long. Two days later they called and told me my TV could be delivered within the hour, but I asked them to wait. Three days later their scheduler told me I would be called 30 minutes before they arrived. They didn't. She told me they would deliver between 4 and 6pm. After waiting until 6:30pm I called back and the guy told me they don't deliver after 5pm and accused me of not being home earlier in the day. They are completely rude and inefficient. My warranty runs out in 10 days - I'm worried my TV isn't fixed and I am out of luck. I bought it last Christmas Eve so my daughter could watch TV.
