I went in for a mani/pedi and the pedi was as it had always been- fantastic. I got the mani with the gel polish that they said would last 2 weeks. Not 5 days later, the polish was peeling from my fingers. The manicurist cut my cuticles and it was bleeding and there was blood underneath the polish.
I went back to ask for a refund and was told that if I was unhappy that I was not welcome in their salon. The service manager told me I had bad cuticles and that they did a perfect job. She said they only warranty their nail polish for 48 hours and so DON'T BELIEVE THEM WHEN THEY SAY IT WILL LAST 2 WEEKS. She was incredibly horrible at customer service and I told her that. I walked out saying that I'd never be back.
I tried calling once to complain to the store owner only to find that the lady I spoke with in person was also the store owner. She said that she "didn't want people who look like me in the store ever again" and if I called ever again she would call the police and report my number. Wow.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER
Save yourself time and go somewhere else! Being a mother, I may be more of a clean freak than others, but the way this facility cleans their pedicure tubs is unsettling! I sat down to get my pedicure as another client was leaving, and the staff simply ran water through the tub--didn't use a sponge, towel, soap, or anything to clean up after the last person. Another person immediately sat down after that and I began to think of all the germs my feet were sitting in. Then, when I pulled out my polish color, the girl asked if I was sure that was the color I wanted because they had "better colors." I told her I was sure and she gave me a look. After about an hour in a half, we were finally done! The experience was unsettling and quite frankly disturbing. I hope to find a nail salon that appears to be clean (as this one does) but that actually lives up to its appearance!
Enso nails is awesome. I like to treat myself once a month with a pedicure, and I have never really found a place I like, until now. I absolutely loved my pedicure, I almost fell asleep it was so comfortable! The lady was great, and I even got a really cute flower on my toes! I can't wait to go back again!
The prices are very reasonable. You also are treated to a complimentary beverage. The quality of the manicures, pedicures, and acrylic set is phenomenal. If you are looking for a relaxing place to get your nails done in a comfortable environment that DOES NOT stink like acetone or have acrylic dust floating around, THIS is the place. There are large plasma tv's facing the client and relaxing music in the background for you to truly relax while getting your nails done. I have tried different nail salons around Pflugerville, Round Rock, Hutto, and North Austin, this is by far my favorite.
Pros: Clean, classy, reasonable
Obviously I've had my eyebrows waxed tons of times. They all varied from good to bad to horror movie. I think out of all the times I've gotten them done it's the least painful at Enso Nails. And my gosh are they thorough. I hate it when I leave and there's still strays here and there. They always take their time to do a wonderful job. And if I ever have anything to add the staff is so courteous to accommodate any adjustments I asked for. Best part? It's only $9 for an eyebrow wax. Absolutely cannot beat the level of service for that price.
Pros: Affordable price, high quality service.
My experience at the Austin location was respectable. It's a great salon, very comfortable atmosphere. Although, their prices aren't posted at the shop (you have to ask to see the price book) or listen online, they're pretty reasonable.
The gentleman doing my acrylics didn't talk to me, ask me how I was doing. He did a beautiful set of acrylics, but I would have appreciated a warmer experience. When I go to a salon, I like to talk to the person working on my nails. I tried to engage him in conversation, ask him about himself, etc., but he was non-responsive. He also didn't know what I meant when I asked him to round the tips twice... even with hand motions.
Overall: great salon, great atmosphere, decent prices.
Pros: Great quality acrylics
Cons: Confusing staff
Prior to being a loyal customer at this sweet salon for several months, i had my good and bad experiences at close to two dozens salon in town. But this one has me holding a 5-star rating at a heart beat. They greet me by name, know my polish choice and even recognize my voice on the phone whenever i call in for appointment. I had my trials on gel nails for 3 months, then switched to pink and white acrylic for a couple of month, and now back to gel nails. I am satisfied at both choices. i like the shininess from the gel, and the toughness from the acrylic. I like the fact that every technician i have had so far has been very attentive and skillful. One may file faster than the other, but they are all great. Their tools, their files, their tables are clean and neat. They are cheerful and fun to chat with. So, yeah, it's defintely a great place to get my beauty treatments done with a sure satisfaction.
Pros: Ambience, quality products, great prices, service
I enjoy my treats every now and again but like many of you I'm on a budget between kids, home and all that good stuff. A couple times a month, however, I like to pamper myself a little bit by going to Enso and I really enjoy it every time. The staff is friendly courteous and highly professional. I always get the mani/pedi which runs $34! And the color last forever and ever. Very nice.
Pros: fabulous service. affordable prices
Cons: nothing that i can think of
I can't even tell you how many nail salons I've been to. Whether it's here around town for while traveling for work. It's always the same. I have solar nails on and since I've worn it for a number of years I'm pretty knowledgeable myself about the product and the general process. You know how when you first sit down the nail tech and you can pretty much figure out if they're gonna be good or not? What's refreshing is that I always get a great feeling when I get stuff done at Enso Nails. I never have any lifting, ever. The quality of the powder they use compared to some of the other places is night and day. Enso Nails is such a treat.
I had heard about Enso Nails from a friend who has been going there for a while, but I was hesitant to try a new place out. And I don't know about you but with my experience every nail salon is just like the next. The ice cream color walls with big hand pictures and garage sale furniture with people yelling at each other four ways 'til Sunday. But since I've tried Enso Nails I've been hooked. They really are such a great place. The color selection is humongous, the staff is professional, the prices are super affordable! Mani/Pedi is only $34.00. And the fact that they offer 48hr free repairs mean they really stand behind their quality of work. I recommend it for sure :o)
Everything about this place is great.
-the fresh clean smell of the space
- modern lay back environment
- CLEAN, and I do mean CLEAN
If you want to find a place where you can become and regular and feel completely safe and comfortable getting your nail services Enso Nails is definitely it!
Pros: The staff is highly professional and accomodating!
Cons: None. I always feel well taken care of.
I've been to so many disappointing nail salons in the Austin/Pflugerville area and they're all pretty much the same. They all have the same cheesy cattle herding feel and they're all about as professional as a teeth whitening booth at the mall. They all trash talk the salon I've been to prior and doesn't deliver anything better to back up their claims. With that said I've fell in love with Enso Nails! The feel is casual but super nice, everyone is very knowledgeable of their field. Best of all the solar set that I got came out amazing. In fact I had no idea how bad mine were until I got them done at Enso. On top of which it's been 3 weeks and I don't see a single area of lift. No more salon hopping for me.
Pros: most beautiful solar nails i've ever seen!
I visited Enso Nails as part of the beginning of a birthday celebration with the girls. The atmosphere was relaxing. My pedicure was fabulous. The person who gave me the pedicure was very professional, attentive and pleasant. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Pros: amazing prices
I've been coming to Enso for over six months now and have recommended 3 of my friends who are now all regulars for waxing and mani pedis. Best in the area for sure and I will continue to come to Enso as long as I live in the area.
Pros: location, parking, prices
Everyone from my office goes to this salon; the staff is attentive and ready to help you relax the minute you step in. I always enjoy going every time I get a chance.
The people who work here are terrific and the place is always immaculate! All I have to say is that it's worth every penny.
Pros: Oustanding Price and Service
I went to the Austin location a few days ago for a little me time and at first it was kinda difficult find unless you know to look for them. It's tucked away in a run down shopping center but the there's obvious amounts of money spent on the inside. It is by far the cleanest nail salon I've ever been in. I really enjoyed it and will be back again sometime this month.
Pros: VERY clean
I honestly was so freakin' tired of the same ol' nail places and the same ol' experience. That is until my hair stylist recommend that I try Enso Nails and I just have to say I haven't been anywhere else since. It's just great mani/pedi job every time and the fact that they stand behind their work with 48hr free repairs is just unheard of. Best of all a mani/pedi combo is just $34! Like I said... Love it!
Pros: professional service
My daughter brought me here for mother's day and it was my first time and certainly won't be my last. She's always talked about how great it is and I didn't really understand until my visit. The place is super clean and atmosphere is very comfortable, not to mention the amazing wall of color selection. My daughter and I decided that going to Enso Nails is going to be a part of our routine now.
Pros: so many colors!
I live in Round Rock and must drive by at least a dozen nail places but after leaving Enso Nails I always feel like it was worth the drive. I'm not quite sure what all it is that sets them apart but I really enjoy this place. The ambiance is lovely and for the high end setup and service prices are super affordable.
Pros: lovely ambience, amazing prices, parking
I went here on Saturday as part of a group of four. We made appointments for 2:00 for pedicures. Two of us were running a little late, but the other two were at the appointment on time. Apparently, this nail salon also took another appointment at 2:00 for two people. Not usually a big deal, but there were only four people working on this day. So, the two of us that showed up late sat with our feet in cold water for at least 20-30 minutes before we were even seen. Once they started on me (I say they because one person started, and halfway through someone else finished), they rushed me through the process. I spent more time soaking my feet than they spent on the pedicure. Because we were on a schedule that day, I didn't say anything once I paid and left. Once I got home later that night, I realized that my nails were uneven and there was quite a bit of polish on the skin near my toes.
I know it received great reviews, and we all heard good things about this place, but I was very unhappy with the service and felt very rushed. When the appointments were originally made, we were told we could pick what we wanted to do once we got there. One person in the group had to wait 30 minutes after her pedicure was done to get a simple manicure, and another in the group was told that they didn't have time to do her fills (I've been to many nails places, and I've never heard one turn down a request for a service). Even though we had an appointment and spent quite a bit of money that day, the walk-in appointments that came in during our services were put before our manicure appointments.
Pros: Nice atmosphere, good selection of colors
Cons: Having an appointment doesn't seem to matter
I love this nail salon. I signed up for a CitySearch account just so I could review Enso. The new owner really added some very high end touches to the place, so you really feel like you are in the trendiest spot in Austin (and it's in PFLUGERVILLE!). My boyfriend gave me two gift certificates for Christmas, so I just went and got my hot stone pedicure...love love love it! I'm worried that it will be too busy if so many people love it as much as me, but I want it to stick around, so make sure to check it out next time you need a mani or pedi :)
Pros: Prices are so reasonable, clean, very trendy atmosphere...everything!
My sister, mom and I came here for a holiday treat and it was fabulous. I've never been in a nail salon that was this nice and the service was sensational. I had always seen it going to the Tinseltown or browsing at Ashley's furniture but never really tried it until recently. On top of everything their prices are surprisingly competitive for something so nice! This is definitely where I'll be coming from now on.
Pros: location, parking, price, SERVICE
A girl friend of mine recommended Enso Nails to me a short while back and I've been coming here ever since. They do a consistent and great job every time I've been here. One of the things that struck me the most is that no matter how busy they were the atmosphere still remained very relaxing and not high tension. Recommended!
Pros: consitent quality service
I feel so relax coming here, the atmosphere is great and the staff is super professional. Everything is so chic and upbeat. I've been to spas in austin that aren't even as nice as this. They guarantee their work so that's a great source of comfort. I love the personal attention that's not fake or overwhelming. No obnoxious talking behind your back in front of your face here. I highly recommend Enso Nails & Spa!
Pros: parking, atmosphere, service, guaranteed work
I've been here since the new ownership and remodel and I gotta say I am completely spoiled! I will never go back to the atypical nail places around town. Granted there's the high priced spas but for the price point at everyday people (myself) budgets you can't beat Enso Nails. I LOVE the hot stone pedicures they give and the spa pedicure is great too with the refining mineral scrub, mud mask and hot towels. The most shocking thing was that when I was leaving the person at the front desk told me that they guarantee all their work for 48 hrs, and seeing as how I'm one of those gals who smudge my polish every now and again this is great to know. It really does establish a great sense of trust knowing that they stand behind their work; as opposed to yelling at you like some little kid then talking about you in another language in front of your face. Highly recommended.
Pros: 48 hr guarantee!
I've been to countless nail salons and I can't how well put together this place really is. Everything is obviously super clean but no that hospital feel, more so the high end NY City retreat feel. Very contemporary and yet still Austin affordable. I love the fact that they have massive flat panel TVs at all the fitting places while getting a manicure or pedicure. I swear I don't even have screens THAT big at home haha. And needless to say the service is phenomenal. I will be back.
Pros: great parking, phenomenal service, great setup, amazing TVs
I'm an RN for Seton and so trust me when I say CLEAN. I've been to countless nail salons and some were nice while others were just plain scary! Enso is by far the best nail salon I've ever been in. It's obvious that the level of attention to detail is meticulous and the staff always make it such a pleasant visit. I've been referring all my girlfriends here, and I have definitely found a new home for pampering.
Pros: professional staff, meticulous upkeeping!
I know that's kind of a mean thing to say that they speak English! But they do, and if you're a season veteran when it comes to this kind of stuff you know exactly what I'm talking about. It's so utterly hard to relax when you have someone screaming in a foreign language across the room at one another. I really do feel that their staff is here for customer service. They're attentive but not overly fake and in your space when you're trying to just kick back, relax and let your day melt away. I highly recommend Enso Nails.
There's a lot of less professional nail salon that nickle and dime you for much more. I never feel that concerned about prices but I gotta say I was pleasantly surprised when I left here the first time. As nice as the salon was I thought that I had to pay much more, especially with the hot stone massages that come with their pedi's.
Pros: amazing space, affordable prices
Cons: not a thing
Enso is a hidden gem... in Austin, a town where fads and passing trends are a known fact. Forget five stars, Enso is five stars plus! Best pedicures I've ever . After one visit, I consider myself to be added to their long-term client list. From the minute you walk in the door, you are greeted with warmth and genuine attention! I cannot recommend Enso Nails enough.
The feel is New York the prices are Texas friendly and so is the staff. I went here recently with a girlfriend for a day of pampering and we so glad we found this place. We hadn't been here before but always saw it going to Tinseltown Pflugerville so thought we'd give it a shot. It was a fabulous end to a nice relaxing day. The place itself is very contemporary and urban, unlike any other salons I've been to around town - especially at such affordable prices. I will be back.
Pros: competitive pricing, good service, amazing layout
every time i've come here it's always been a pleasant and relaxing experience, it's no longer a chore to go get my nails done worrying if i was going get injured with the cuticle cutters or if the tech was going to be rude and talking me in another language, i will be back.
Pros: great experience everytime
I was referred here by a friend of mine and I was so glad I stopped in. It was a long hard day of work and I wanted to relax with a pedi. I was greeted by a very professional staff who offered me a complimentary glass of wine while I was enjoying my services. The ambient of the place is upbeat, relaxing and very contemporary; definitely not like anything I've experienced around here. I left extremely relaxed to say in the very least. Highly recommended.
Pros: amazing ambient
Like many of you I have been through my fair share of salons and experience some great times and some not so great ones. I just have to say flat out this is by far the best nail salon I've ever been in. The atmosphere was great, the staff was friendly and professional, the polish just lasts and lasts. This is definitely my new place to be pampered.
Pros: lots of parking, professional service, reasonal pricing
Cons: they should've been here sooner! :o)
