I went to Plato's closet today to sell some clothes. I had 3 bags. I have shopped there before so based off of my previous shopping experiences I determined what I thought would be good to sell. Also some of the items still had tags on them. I waited for 20 minutes and they told me they were only buying 5 items and that some of my stuff was long sleeve and they weren't accepting those right now. She also told me most of my stuff looked worn (really have you looked around your store?). Anyway I made under $20 and I drove less than a mile up the road (Walmart parking lot) and put what I got back into one of the donation bins. I have more clothes I'm getting rid of and I'm just going to donate. It's not worth the hassle at Plato's closet. Also while I was walking around the store I realized the style had changed a bit in there. There were somethings I bought a couple of years ago that I don't think they would buy now. So I'm not sure what style they are looking for. I have 1 positive; the staff seemed polite.

Pros: I got to donate a bunch at the end

Cons: Too much trouble for not enough
