Do not pay this guy upfront. He will walk away with your money and you will never see him again. The Granite supplier we choose are granite from refuses to sell him Granite. Stay away!

No workmanship, do not pay in cash or up front no matter the discount. Mike will ask you to make the check payable to him not his company. This should have been a red flag to us. Materials are of poor quality. This was the worst

CONTRACTORS BEWARE. Mike gives tons of excuses not to pay. He has you start a job that does not have enough materials to finish. He than refuses to pay. He completes the job(only a little left) himself. He'll give you the run around about

I just finished dealing with Granite 4 Less, 2 months after my install was complete. I heard lie after lie from the owner of this company:

- "We do all the work ourselves" (they subbed out all the work)
- "The cabinet guy is behind

The work this company does is UNBELIEVABLY BAD!! They show up and work for a day and disappear. This happened to my neighbor - she paid them a bit up front, they came in did one day's worth of TERRIBLE work and never came back. Never

by far one of the worst companies to deal with,,, our project is over 3 weeks late and you can't get the owner Mike to respond.. Workers are sloppy and they actually thought it was ok to grind granite in my house???They ran out of material and they tried to put other pieces of granite together to make it look similar to what I purchased??They use a slick bait and switch tactic to offer you a low price up front and then under order the granite and try to get you to pay for the additional pieces.. do not use this company they are a scam...

I'm not sure what people were expecting for the price they paid. These guys have the best prices in town but their service isn't top notch. That being said, you get what you pay for. Crazy how people want rock bottom pricing but white glove service. if you need top notch service there are plenty of guys in town that will charge you almost twice as much as granite for less..trust me, we got quotes from three different granite contractors.

Pros: Price, selection of counter tops

My experience was exactly the same as the others. I waited all day after being told we were first on the list. After multiple phone calls, the workers showed up at 5:30. They finished around 9:00. The guy who came to install the sink didn't have any tools. He was using my husband's. My husband, who is a commercial contractor, was supervising his work. When it became clear the gentleman didn't know what he was doing, my husband asked him to leave. He was drilling scraps of wood into my cabinets. The next day the owner's son came to grout. It was horrible. Immediately it was flaking off. There were holes and gaps left in multiple places. No effort was made to clean any of the mess. I had grout all over my floor and countertops. The new grout used didn't come close to matching the existing grout. We refused pmt until things were fixed. He came back the next day to caulk (which was never done) and to fill in the holes. I was told that my grout couldn't be matched because it was dirty! I live in a fairly new home. The area he was testing was not even in a food service area. By this time, I just chalked it up to lesson learned. My husband had spoken with the owner several months before the job was done and decided he didn't care for him. He said he was very rude. The owner called back to apologize and used a personal problem as his excuse. I was the one who pushed him to move forward and give the guy a chance. I won't question my husband's instincts again!!!!!

As with the other reviews, our experience was just as bad. We found them on line, and the quote was great. However, we paid for it all during the process. They also cut our pieces wrong and tried to piece meal them together acting as if that was normal. We didn't authorize the seams we got, and had to call them and delay payment before they would come and fix it. We had to get another piece of granite which doesn't match as well as the original job. They would say they were coming and we would waste an entire day waiting, just to call and find out they were on another job. We wouldn't have minded a call so we could at least go on about our day. Finally at the end, when we requested a walk through (which they were surprise with), and told them all the areas we were not happy with, they took have off the remainder of the project, which was only the back splash at this point. We did pay for all the granite.

We got two bids for our kitchen granite. Although G4Less was slightly higher we went with them because of a referral by one of our neighbors. First, it was delayed several times. Then pieces were fabricated to the wrong sizes and had to be redone. Then overhangs were inconsistent and required much arguing to get them to correct. The under mount sink cut-out was not straight and had to be corrected. Then they tried to use two small pieces put together instead of one large piece (with no seam) as originally agreed. My biggest frustration is that if we had completely trusted them and let them do the job unsupervised we would have ended up with a awful job. Only after a lot of arguing and several delays was I able to coerce them into doing the job right...basically against their will. The finished job looks good.

Pros: Finished job looks good

Cons: Try to pass off crappy work as standard...need supervision...not trustworthy

Had our countertop and backsplash replaced in the kitchen. Was told this would be a "Turn Key" job and they would take care of everything from start to finish.Granite is sold by an installed price, meaning so much per square foot. Our kitchen is small and I measured a very liberal 36 sq. feet for the job. Probably closer to 34 - 35 sq. ft. but I added a foot or two. We were billed for 38 sq. feet. The countertop did not have an even overhang all the way around on all edges. It varied from 3/4" - 2 1/4". Doesn't sound like much but it is very noticeable. I was told that this was the measurement of my old countertop. Well, sorry, I didn't want what I had, I wanted something new and improved. We had to ask that trim be installed around the edges of counter and underneath the granite to hide the old edge that was unstained and very noticeable due to the lack of overhang mentioned above. We were told that we would have to stain it ourselves! Remember, this was a "Turn Key" project? We were told that a worker was "on there way" and they never showed up. We had a worker show up, unannounced, at 8:30 AM on a Sunday morning and he couldn't speak English. Workers helped themselves to my tools in my garage, without asking. Some of the countertop was cut while in the kitchen, creating quite a mess. We were told that there was no need to remove items in the cabinets below the new countertop. This was a mistake. Everything had to be cleaned due to all the dust and debris. We were asked "how would you like to make final payment" before the job was completed. That call came on a Sunday morning. No one from the company came by to see if the job was completed to our satisfaction.I could go on, but you get the picture...In the end, the final product looks great, but I would have a hard time recommending this company to any friends or neighbors.

Granite 4 Less is a very professional company, who was timely from start to finish. Their crew was curtious and the job was very well done. I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for the an exceptional value from start to finish.

Work performed was less than acceptable. Seams installed in high traffic areas and visible to the eye. Workers had no respect for homeowners home. Granite was cut inside home causing dust everywhere. Would not use or recommend. If you hire, watch closely and make sure workers are being supervised.
