Meyerland location is not the best I've ever been too. The front desk for the most part are Unprofessional & rude. Plus most of them look like teens so mayb they dont pay much. They will have you sitting there waiting and your therapist dont know you are there. Taking time out of my massage.
The tranquil room is not a room its a mini hallway that people are constantly passing through. Not to mention linens have been sitting on the plush chairs twice when I've been there. Just disgusting (dirty linens on the plush chairs in the tranquil area).
It is a zoo on weekends, which takes away from the relaxation & stress free ambiance.
Talking is not at a minimum either, I hear loud laughing and talking which just isn't unpleasant.
I've had 3 great therapists & I always have to book ahead to get these therapists. Sorry I'm not sharing the names because I may not get an appointment with them they stay booked.
Wow lost your files. I've witnessed this on several visits. If they're docs are confidential how do you lose files.
Some Massage Envys have fresh fruits & bottled water, I wish Meyerland would get with the program.
Guess you get what you paid for lol. $49. per month- therapist get about 1/3 of that. They work for those "Cash tips". I tip generously because I used to work for tips and 10% is not much for all of the manuel hard work they do for hours. More people should think about that. The average rates are $75.+ an hour bcos I've been to many spas & had memberships over the past 10 yrs.
Anyway Meyerland is ok but they should be more professional. I would say something to the mgr/owner but they are both unrealistic & up tight.

Massage Envy has left a bad taste in my mouth in reference to the company and the Meyerland location as a whole. The front desk and ckinical manager is very unorganized. They messed up my contract and paperwork because they lost it. I was very rudely spoken to by a front desk personnel named Genesis and was very very stressed out when I went into my massage. When I came out was another story because again I was stressed out by the front desk. They ended up charging me an enormous rate for my massage which I never authorized because I was under a membership. It is not my fault they lost my paperwork but when I got home I faxed them a copy of my contract. Genesis was still rude and I had already requested a call from the owner and manager of the store. The manager of the store I really didnt want to talk to because she canceled my membership for no reason and never called. I jut came there for an appointment and was enraged with all of this. I was honored a six month membership and was given paper to sign for a year which was not my contract at all. I am not pleased with this store or location. This store at all does not stand for the Message Envy motto or benefit the customer by having to deal with the front desk staff or an unprofessional manager (Names Erica). The massage therapist, Phil, was great. They made me so angry I was not even able to leave gratuity. This Massage Envy location stressed me out so much that I felt it didnt not matter that I had a great massage because I was even more stressed when I left. I have a very bad taste in my mouth about this location and have not been to any other location (This is very close to my home). I am not pleased at all and something must be done about this. My plan is to tell all of my friends, family and anyone else about how this location really made me think negatively about the company.

i like this place because they are so helpful and welcoming when a friend went for her first time. they are great but I am just to going to a place get to know my therapist /masseur and sticking with that person. Is the only thing I don't like about this place. it's like going every time for the first time because you don't know but I still recommended my friends to go is convenient and the massages are great and the prices are affordable.

I've had a Massage Envy membership for 3 years. I like the ability to be able to call any number of locations locally or when I travel for a massage. The membership is very affordable, the rooms are always clean and the massage therapists knowledgable. While I don't always get the same person, I've enver been disappointed in the the service. I've referred many friends all of whom are still members!
Pros: Services nationwide
Cons: Last minute appointments are limited

Every time I found a therapist I liked, they moved on. The rooms were far sound proof and the hallways could be very noisy and not condusive to relaxing. Saturday's it is like a Zoo. I'm tired of trying out new, not very good, therapists. I've finally canceled my membership after about a year and a half.
Pros: Price
Cons: Noise, inconsistant therapist skill level
