I would like to give this company NEGATIVE amounts of stars!! This is the company my warranty company assigned to fix my dishwasher. The company gave me a window of 8am-5pm!! No lie. When the guy got here he literally turned it on, turned it off and told me there was something stuck in the motor and the warranty company wouldn't cover it. He never SAW the motor since he never did more than open the door. Meanwhile, he also tried to get me to pay him under the table bc he "listened" to my refridgerator and heard there was something wrong with it. Please DO NOT use these people---the whole company is awful! I cancelled the warranty also bc it is such a complete waste of time and money. I would rather buy a used dishwasher on Craigslist than deal with these morons again!

My a/c went out on Wednesday I called my home warranty company and was told the company who was assigned to me would contact me. I recvd no phone call. I contacted my home warranty company on Thursday to see who they assigned.....Authorized Service Center. I contacted them on Thursday and was told if they could they would try to get to me but more than likely it would be Friday. Friday comes I contact them to see when tech would be out they tell me between 8-5 they would call me 30-45 prior to tech coming out. At 1:44 ASC calls me to inform me tech was on his way 30-45 min. It is now 4:30 and no one has shown up! I call the office and was told "I don't know why someone called you there are 2 other people infont of you". At this point I was still gauranteed someone was still coming out. I contact them again at 5:00 before they closed for the day and was told again tech will call me before he comes out. At 5:30 ASC contacts me but at this time my cell phone is dead, they did not try my home number, and left a message that tech was finishing up and would be at my home in 30-45 min. Again my husband is at home where he has been all day in the heat waiting for this tech to come and guess what he arrives at my home, calls from his vehicle and because I did not answer my phone HE LEAVES. Apparently this tech can not use good judgment and think to get out of vehicle and knock on door where I know these people have been waiting all day for service. When he called my cell phone he hung up and did not leave message well my cell phone loged his number so I called him and ask where he was that is when I was informed he not only called but was outside my home and because no one answered the phone he left. He admits to being here, he admits to there being a car in the drive way, and admits to not getting out of car and knocking becasue no one answered a phone. I contacted the office on Saturday morning and spoke to rep there and she began to tell me "no my tech told me he knocked on the door and no one was home", I tried to tell her he was lieing and I wanted service this am and was told I can reschedule you today 8-5. Then I asked to speake to manager and he got on the phone attacking me sttg my man was at your house last night and he clld me telling me no one answered the phone or the door. I tried to explain to him that was a lie and he started yelling and then told me if I still wanted service they would be out between 8-5 today and hung up on me! I contacted my home warranty company again to inform them of the situation. I wish I would have looked this company up on Thursday to see all other complaints and to look up Dallas BBB and see all 46 complaints and their rate to be an "F" instead of waiting till Saturday to look this up. So this is day 4 with no a/c my kids are starting school on Monday and this is what we have to live with because of such bad service! I will not even give them a star totally not worth it!

The next day came around and nothing, so I called them around 3pm on Friday. Apparently, they lost my invoice and would have to contact the technician. They advised that they would call me within a few hours. I waited and no callback.

Monday comes around and no callback or anything. I called ASC and the same lady from Friday told me that she cannot find the invoice. She puts me on hold for about 10mins and finds it. She cannot believe the technician turned my A/C off entirely, but will have to speak with a supervisor to see what they can do and will call me back within the hour.

I wait a few hours and nothing, so I call my home service company and they get ahold of ASC immediately, who says I didn't call and the technician should be out the next day, Tues. ASC also says they will call and set up the appointment with me. I never received a call until...

Tuesday, I was at home all day and my wife tells me she received a call around 3pm stating the technician was at our home, but since no one answered the phone, he did not even try to knock. My wife calls them back within a few minutes and the technician is already out of the area. The only time they can come back is Thurs (8 days without any A/C in 100 deg temps). We ask why not tomorrow and that we can do any day except Thurs due to medical issues/appts. Also, we ask why did they not try knocking or calling me, esp since they used my number to setup the first appointment. Apparently, they do not have my number, even though it is the one on their invoice in front of me.

So, now I try my home service company again. ASC tells them that they are trying to work with us, but I am unreasonable. I bet they would too if they didn't have A/C for a week. Also, they tell the service company that they had to order parts. So, either they lied to the service company or the technician and person he was talking to on the first day lied to me about having the parts in stock (either way ASC lied). Then, they say they can only make it on Thurs or the following week. How long is my family suppose to go without A/C? Apparently, my home service company cannot send another company because ASC had to order parts. I think ASC knows the drill and lied about ordering the parts to keep this contract.

So, now I am stuck waiting for who knows how long or spend more money calling a A/C company myself. If ASC comes to your house, especially if you are using a home service company, turn them away and get someone else out because it will be nothing more than wasted money and a headache.

The condenser on my AC unit went out two weeks ago, my home warranty company sent authorized service center that promptly came out and collected their money. Two weeks later still no AC. I went with Choice heating and air. They had the condenser within 24 hours and ready for installation.

If your Home Warranty informs you that they are dispatching Authorized Service Center, ask them for another company. We recently put in our third recall because our air conditioning went out... again. They (ASC) came out on Monday- told me the compressor needed to be replaced and that they would be back on Wednesday with the part to install. I called on Wednesday and couldn't get them on the phone, so I called my home warranty company. They informed me that ASC had not even turned in the paperwork specifying the problem. My wife and I called them all day Wednesday and Thursday just trying to get the paperwork faxed to my home warranty company- Step 1 in a multi-step process! I eventually took the "cash out" option with my warranty company as I knew it would be at least another week to get the part installed -and- I had absolutely no confidence that this would even fix the problem (it was the 3rd attempt). For a whole week my wife and I, and our infant and toddler slept at our friends house on the couch just waiting for ASC to send a fax and get the process started. Worst service company I have ever used- and I am in construction... I've used lots of bad companies! Look at their record on the Dallas Better Business Bureau... I've never seen a company with so many unresolved issues- "F" rating. www.dallas.bbb.org

Let me give you a inside look at this company. I worked for this crook for about 2 months before I had it with them. I seen them con people out of their hard earned money. Tell them that they need new equipment when they only needed a $10.00 part. They will use used parts on repairs and charge full price. Or best of all, them will charge for parts to be replaced that are never replaced. Lanny and his whole company is a joke. Look them at bbb.com They have a F rating. Lanny has had other AC and Heating Companies that he has ran into the ground because of the same "bad business" crap that he does. If you have to use this company for warranty work, you can always call in for a second opinion. No matter what the repair is. I would hate to see any money go to this company. Its better to just pay them the deductible and ask them to leave, then to pay out your ass for repairs that are not needed. Hell, let the company that comes out for your second opinion make the money. Don't let this crook have it!!!! Last but not least. He also rips off this employees. When I first started working for Lanny I could see that their were issues with other techs. See, all the techs that work for this company are subcontractors. That means that they get paid by the job. 30% - 40% per ticket. So the more they sell, the more they make. Anyways. The techs would turn in the tickets to Lanny. And then every Friday you would get paid on your tickets that you turned in. Well, its your truck, your insurance, your parts on your truck, and the gas for your truck. So he has no experience in it. I said all that to say this. Myself and other techs were never given money owed to us. If Lanny owed you more then he wanted to pay, he would just fire you and tell you that he owes you nothing. When I quite, he owed me more then $1600.00.. That to this day, I have never seen. Their were several times that the police would shut the business down do to threats from techs that were never paid. Anyways, Stay away from this company. If your in need of a job, DON'T work for this company. And if you have any questions about this company, call me... I will send you to a reliable company.

Next day Authorized Service shows up without calling. Told me it would $285 to repair I told tech that I didn't get paid until Friday he said "oh just post date the check we won't cash it" Today I checked my account $110 in overdraft fees because they cashed the check a day early causing 3 other checks to bounce. My $285 water pump repair cost me $395 because of their poor customer service. I won't use them again and will be sure to mention this to Lowe's as they are part of their extended warranty program.

They went so far as to tell us certain things were against city code which we confirmed it was not. Then they told us our warranty company told them not to do the work unless we paid the extra charges. Our warranty company denied saying that and said this company told them they couldnt do the work because it was against code (which was a lie) and then they told the warranty company we (the homeowner) wanted to do more research so they couldnt finish the job. Three men showed up from your company to install our heat pumps. I was so impressed with these guys that I had to write and let you know. I've never had a reason to write such a letter before. Your guys showed up on time and were well mannered, considerate, and professional the ENTIRE time they were in our home. The job turned out to be much larger than was anticipated and Joe, Nick & James stayed for thirteen hours to try and get our heat on before they left! Thirteen hours and I never heard a complaint or saw evidence that they didn't want to be there. In fact, they kept apologizing for being in our way while they were there! They went out of their way to make sure they cleaned up any messes they made in getting our systems installed. They took extra time to explain how a heat pump works. I just can't tell you enough how IMPRESSED I am with your guys.

Congratulations on having a superior team of employees. I will not hesitate to call you again if necessary. In fact, if you know anything about fixing pools, send them out again!

Three men showed up from your company to install our heat pumps. I was so impressed with these guys that I had to write and let you know. I've never had a reason to write such a letter before. Your guys showed up on time and were well mannered, considerate, and professional the ENTIRE time they were in our home. The job turned out to be much larger than was anticipated and Joe, Nick & James stayed for thirteen hours to try and get our heat on before they left! Thirteen hours and I never heard a complaint or saw evidence that they didn't want to be there. In fact, they kept apologizing for being in our way while they were there! They went out of their way to make sure they cleaned up any messes they made in getting our systems installed. They took extra time to explain how a heat pump works. I just can't tell you enough how IMPRESSED I am with your guys.

Congratulations on having a superior team of employees. I will not hesitate to call you again if necessary. In fact, if you know anything about fixing pools, send them out again!

My experience with this company has been a complete nightmare. I honestly believe that the techs they send out don't know much about air conditioning.

I paid this company more than 5k to install brand new central air and heat in my home. It would work fine for an hour or two, and then shut off. Each time the techs promised to return the same day if it stopped working. And it would stop working and I would call and they simply would not answer the phone. They were unconcerned that I had no working AC after paying them all that money and I simply had to wait my turn.

We had no ac in August during a weekend and several days and evenings. Not one bit of concern on their part. They had to return to my home 6 times before they could get it working right.

Now, it's 3 months later and I am astounded to learn that I have no heat from my brand new central unit installed by Authorized Service Center. It looks like it has not even been hooked up.

At this point, I would rather pay a reputable company $500 to get it working than pay Authorized Service Center another 5 cents.

Authorized Service Center is the worst company I've ever had the misery of dealing with. Do not invite this scummy company into your life, you will definitely be sorry.

One thing I don't understand about companies like this -- what would it cost them to act like they care? Nothing. Not a single thing. But this company acts like they will lose money if they act like they care about their customers. I don't get how the owner of this company and that horrid rude woman that answers the phone can sleep with themselves at night, and even more so I don't get how this company stays in business!

This service is horrible, I only had to use them because my home warranty made me and they send them to my house. The technician can care less and the woman on the phone wouldn't tell me the total cost of the charges when I asked so I will know how much the warranty company is paying, when I kept asking she hang up the phone on my face. They are horrible horrible horrible.

I'm really not sure about the technician end, I never got that far. I found them to be unreliable, customer service was foreign to them. If they aren't going to meet their scheduled times don't expect a courtesy call. The manager is unconcerned , the dispatcher is rude and has zero regard for honesty or professionalism. Very sad in today's economy when so many jobs are going offshore that our service industries continue to deliver POOR customer service and disregard the reason they are there in the first place. If you have an extended warranty agreement with Lowes on a major appliance do yourself a favor and request that this NOT be the service center assigned to handle your warranty issues.

Those guys knew thier stuff ! After countless calls from my regular A/C company, and being told I need A new system( 5500.00 ) Authorized Service Center came out once found the problem charged 425.00 and has worked GREAT since. Recommended to my parents and they got the same satisfaction.

These agents are very bad in services - I would never pick them to come, but based on my home insurance places them as primary. They are always bad in services personels and slow, never keep promising the time they will show up - delay all your day and always like excuses here and there
