You have to go through some rough neighborhoods to get to this gem, but to play this course in the fall is absolutely a divine experience. The rolling terrain and fall colors are just beautiful. Hole #1 at one time was a Par 6 for the women -- the course was home of the Dallas Open in 1927 and the PGA championship. Driving up to the beautiful clubhouse makes you forget it's a public course.
