Found a wonderful, relaxing place. Had lunch with a friend and had the chicken pot pie special with the Maple Nut Salad. Absolutely delicious. Enjoyed the warm home atmosphere and felt like I could visit without getting shoved out the door. Glad to know there are places out of the norm in Plano. Definitely plan on returning.

First time we went there, we seated ourselves as there was no one to greet us. We were a group of five and two joined a bit later. After a while someone came out from the back and explained to us how to help ourselves. The next time we went, about a month later, there was a group in a back room that was very loud. They were in a separate room and obviously enjoying themselves. It added to the atmosphere. The third time our group met there, we were celebrating one member's birthday. One of our group has a particularly loud voice and we were enjoying ourselves without being overly loud, but a group of old ladies arrived and apparantly complained. Instead of moving that group - or ours- to another room, the people of Patti's asked us to keep it down. That was a year ago and needless to say, we haven't been back. It's charming to look at, but the charm ends there. The muffins are nice, the salads are nice but nothing so spectacular as to put up with being made unwelcome. There are other fun, charming places in Plano to brunch and lunch.

I visited this place this morning and I have to say that I absolutely not enjoyed my visit here. First of all, the owner should learn how to serve her customers. She never smiled, never say hello or how are you or even good morning. Even my friends said thank you several times for her serve as usual, she never replied. She is simply the worst restaurant host that I have ever experienced. She never say thank you during my visit until I shut the door and left. Second, food are overpriced and not delicious. Coffee was even not hot enough for the morning. I definitely not recommend this place at all. Please simply avoid this place at all in your dine out list. Again, the owner was the worst of the part of this restaurant.

I have brought friends and clients here and everyone enjoys the the space and the food. This is a secret treasure. The staff are so nice and the salads are totally unique and quite fresh. The chicken pot pie is worth waiting for Thursday. I always enjoy my lunches and breakfast is quite peaceful. Seating is tight but better than standing outside waiting. History is given due diligence and you can explore theproperty which is remarkably well preserved in it's original condition. Local kids call it haunted but it's fantastically homey and sweet. I love this place.

You have to stop by Patti's Place. I don't think anyone realizes how amazing this place is. Patti roasts coffee, bakes everything from scratch, offers over 200 kinds of gourmet tea, and is located in the only historic home in West Plano. I stopped by this afternoon for a piece of pie and a coffee. The pie was the most amazing thing I have ever had in my mouth. Fresh raspberries! The pastry was to die for. Worth every calorie! I then found out that Patti roasts coffee right there. I had Maple Nut Crunch coffee! While I enjoyed a little slice of heaven I read the most extensive tea menu I have ever seen. Over 200 varieties. You have to check it out!

Ate there today. Was not impressed. Over priced and the food was adequate at best. Pies was icebox version. When I got the bill gave me back wrong change, too much So tip money was not available. No choice but to tip to much. Decor was simple yet nice. Would I go back or recommend ? No. Maybe I should have had the chicken pot pie that I read about and went there for. Oh yeah, it was not available.

Went to Patti's Place with a friend and had the chicken pot pie special for lunch. It was awesome! I loved this place so much, I went back the next day with my husband and son. It was great again. Everyone is so nice and the food was wonderful. The atmosphere is so relaxing, we didn't want to leave! Took a homemade pie and coffee home to have over the weekend.

Sorry, but I did not enjoy my visit to Patti's for lunch. The decor was pure Texan- nothing feminine here! The furniture was uncomfortable and clunky and the tables were jammed together. I didn't like the way you had to get up and go into another room to order your drinks, your food and then dessert if you wanted if after your meal. The food was just O.K.- nothing to rave about- and was rather pricey. I won't be back.

This is a piece of Plano history! Originally a home for the Wells family, this 2-story home is now a fun breakfast and lunch spot. This Wells home has been returned it its original exterior colors. They allow guests to wander upstairs and view the rooms. I've only eaten lunch at Patti's Tea Room and it was good. Pretty dishes, decorations and desserts. You can purchase take-home items also.

Good food, good service and a cozy atmosphere. Located in an old Plano home, this business caters to those on the run as well as a more leisurely lunch crowd. Go for lunch, go for tea, or go for bakery items! It's a must.
