Cutting Edge Hair

I have very fine hair so needless to say, I need to be very picky on who I go to for service. For the longest time I would go to these people who would just know how they wanted it and would do that, regardless if it was a good cut for my fine hair. And color, I am dirty blonde naturally so going blonde with highlights shouldn't be a challenge but I was truly having a hard time finding someone, where I didn't have roots within a couple weeks. I was introduced to Cutting Edge by a friend of mine, who's hair I always loved so thought I would try it. From visit one, just finished visit 6, they could tell I was particular and let me dictate how I wanted it. Nothing fancy, just something that works for fine hair, shoulder length. Color, blonde but not platinum and definitely natural looking with no roots for at least a month? Not too much to ask. They did so well on the highlights, my 2nd visit was almost 10 weeks later. It still looked natural but the cut needed shaping. All I can say about this salon is the people are so warm and friendly, the new location is gorgeous and so easy to get to and the service level is outstanding. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something new. Very cool place.

I have been going to Cutting Edge Hair for 3 years. Jeff is very professional, stays current with the industry trends and products. He has excellent knowledge of products and hair cutting techniques. I have highlights and lowlights. I am very picky and can honestly say that I have NEVER been unhappy with the color or cut. Jeff always does an great job. He is entertaining....never a boring visit! Customer service is a top priority for Jeff. The salon has a great variety of products, but the personnel aren't pushy about hard sales.

Initial service with Jeff was above expectation. After nearly a year of service, appointments resulted in long waits with "oops-my bad-didn't look at my schedule" type excuses, prices for same service varied and increased for unknown reasons, and the last appointment resulted in extreme brassiness when cool/ashy was requested. Even after Jeff's "correction" I HATE this color so much that I try to avoid in mirrors everyday and will never go back.

I needed to find a new place to get my hilites after a mishap with my previous stylist. I got online and scheduled an appointment via their website. I made my choice of appointments and they emailed me back to confirm my time. When I got to the salon I was greeted by the front desk person who was great and made me feel at home. My appointment was with Jeff who greeted me soon after I got there and we started talking about my hilites. He was very knowledgeable and I didn't feel rushed. I felt like he really listened to what I was trying to accomplish which was to fix the hilites that were done by my previous stylist. He mixed the color and put my highlights up and I must say I love my new highlights!!! He really exceeded all of my expectations. Thank you so much Jeff. I will be back again.

I am new to the area and needed to find a salon close to me so I searched the internet and found Cutting Edge Hair.

I got on their website and was able to schedule an appointment online which was nice because I didn't even have to call. I scheduled an appointment with the owner Jeff because I wanted someone experienced.

He was running a couple of minutes behind but came out to let me know that he would be right with me and his staff offered me a glass of wine and made me feel at home. I was in the chair within 5 minutes after he came out and greeted me and we did a consultaion and he made me feel very comfortable. At the end of the appointment I loved my hair, especially the highlights. You now have a client for life!!!

Pros: Very comfortable environment. Everyone was friendly and made me feel welcome

Cons: Few minutes late but definately made up for it with the scalp massage and highlihgts
