if you're looking for the real deal this isn't it - if you want chilis tex-mex like food with margaritas, chips/salsa, etc. this might be your thing, but don't count on really authentic mexican fare.

Fajitas gone wrong

Pappasitos has changed their fajita marinade. These are not the fajitas we grew up eating for the last 24 years. What were they thinking? You don't change a good thing. Bring back the old marinade please.

Greatest Tex-Mex Food in the USA

I absolutely LOVE all Pappa's restaurants. Yes, they have more that just mexican. they have seafood, steakhouse, pizza, bbq...etc.... BUT! pappasitos is the absolute EPITOME of authentic TEX- MEX food! this place has the best Queso, Salso, Tortillas, Meat, SERVICE!, they have the best everything. My family LIVES on mexican food, and pappasitos is BY FAR our all time favorite!!! ENJOY! THIS PLACE IS THE BEST!!!!!

if you're looking for the real deal this isn't it - if you want chilis tex-mex like food with margaritas, chips/salsa, etc. this might be your thing, but don't count on really authentic mexican fare. ribs were burnt and overpriced, sangria like grape juice, and sides less than appealing.
Pros: quick seating, decent service, okay for kids
Cons: underwhelming food, noisy, not authentic

Pappasitos is is always my favorite

Everytime I go there I'm always greeted by a great staff. They know how to make you feel welcome. The bar is especially a cool and happening place. The chips and salsa are VERY addictive.
Pros: Nice Bar, Friendly atmosphere
Cons: Weekends are busy, Parking fills quickly

Pappasitos Cantina

I thought that pappasitos was worth the trip. We just flew in from Colorado and it was one of the first resaurants that caught our eye. It had a great atmosphere and good food. Everytime we come to visit Texas, our first stop is Pappasitos

Good salsa

Ate at this location of the chain recently and had an all around good experience. We had a very large group (between 40 and 50 people), and the staff worked hard to make sure our experience was pleasurable. They set up tables in a large "U" in a back section and assigned several servers to wait on us. The food was served quickly (even for out big party) but was only okay -- the salsa excellent, but the sauces in the dinners strangely flavored, not spicy, just strange. The portions were huge.
