visited a lot of barber colleges in town. by far the best. got me financial aid and they got night school. i read reviews but made my own choice. am an adult, here from my education. I actually attended another school in town for a bit. trust me-there is drama at every school but here they try to keep it straight. my cousin attended here and they do cap & gown graduation too. am close to graduating next month- looking to hire some barbers.

This place is a joke. DO NOT SPEND YOUR TIME & MONEY!!!! You will not learn anything..........The intructors & everyone employed there is a BIG joke. Most of the students are thugs. Invest in your future, but somewhere else.

I'm currently a student @ the Ferguson Rd. campus and I don't recommend this school to anyone serious about becoming a barber/hairstylist.You would be better spending a lil more money and get what you pay for, there is no hands on training at all,the head instructor acts like he is 10yrs old,the students steal each others supplies and equipment,so you're out of pocket if you are the unfortunate one robbed. The students sit around all day an try an score or smoke weed all day.The so-called student services never has time to hear you out ,you will be brushed off.If you come to this you will sit all day and learn nothing, invest your time and money elsewhere ,take this advise from a current student and go to a professional school .

I think that Texas Barber College, Ferguson campus is very unprofessional and ghetto. The teachers are not well trained they are incompetent, they are even as ghetto and childish as some of the students. You don't learn anything because all the teachers are about is belittling the students to make themselves look good.. How can learn about hair and nail, skin when majority of the teachers dont even know anything. about hair, nail, etc. They treat the students like garbage, the students don't have any rights all at , so why do they have a student service department if there not going to be a voice for the students. They are all about the money, This school is a prime example of BLACK people trying to keep other BLACK people from being successful in life. Wouldn't recommend this school to my ENEMY !!!!!!!!!
