I had never done acupuncture before, however, I'd already tried all sorts of pills and potions to revlieve the Austin allergies to no avail. Within a few weekly treatments - I was clear! For the first time in years I made it through the month of September without losing my voice and being a miserable mess! I now go once a month (sometimes less). The atmosphere is extremely relaxing and I look forward to it.
I travel alot for work and my schedule is always changing. Dr. Luo has an EXCELLENT online scheduler. I can go on there where ever I am at ANY time to book and cancel appointments. The system also sends auto reminders before the appointment. No annoying phone calls to remind me.
Dr. Luo is very personable, he takes the time to listen to ensure he is understanding the situation as a whole. All around I have had an excellent experience and I highly recommend using Dr. Luo if you are thinking of acupuncture.

I had never been to an accupuncturist prior to this. I had been diagnosed with a mild case of carpal tunnel syndrome, but traditional therapy had not produced any improvement. I went to Dr. Luo and he took time to fully understand my symptoms. He performed two treatments, one week apart. These treatments almost completely relieved my symptoms.

I can't thank Dr Luo enough for helping me with my back pain. I have used acupuncture for years, but this was my first time using it to treat my upper back pain. He made me feel at ease from the very first consultation and treatment. With his extensive knowledge of chinese medicine and his effective treatment I knew that this was the answer for my pain management. I was able to get off of my pain medication after the very first visit. And Kevin's warmth and scheduling flexibility always made my visits easy and enjoyable. Really appreciate the attention and wonderful care provided by Dr Luo (Kevin). Kevin was helpful in reducing pain in my knees and back after a single treatment. After several follow-up visits, results were felt immediately which allowed my to get back to being productive again. THANK YOU!!

I had never experienced acupuncture or chinese medicine treatment before. And because of Kevin's personal attention and sincere desire to help me with my anxiety, fatigue, headaches and smoke cessation I am becoming healthier and feeling great. After just my first treatment of accupuncture my ability to focus was 100 times better and with the combination of herbal medicine which he personalizes for me based on my symptoms it has made me feel great. My kids, my friends and my co-workers all see the difference. I have and will continue to recommend Kevin to all my friends, family and others that are tired of not getting results from Western Medicine and/or feeling that the clinical Dr's are not listening to all your concerns and issues. I highly recommend Kevin Luo of TxHarmony Acupuncture and Herbs. He treats my multiple health issues such as back pain, sciatica, insomnia, etc. Kevin is very kind and caring, and takes time to really listen to you. This is quite a change from Western medicine doctors who give you about five minutes to explain your symptoms and rush you out the door with a prescription. Kevin uses different treatments and combination of treatments such as acupuncture, massage and herbal medicine to treat each unique problem. He is a true scholar of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and I feel fortunate to have Kevin treating my health issues. I highly recommend him to all my friends and family.

Kevin is an amazing person, one who truly cares about his patients' well-being. He listens carefully to all your concerns and answers any questions you may have (however long is the list..). Whether it's a minor ailment or a more serious health problem - give acupuncture a try. For me it was struggling with acne (now gone without antibiotics! - can't remember when my skin looked so clear), menstrual pains (all gone!!), allergies (working on it) and few other minor health troubles. Kevin is so PATIENT!, knowledgeable, kind and professional with such a great sense of humor. Few more needles and several cups of herbs more (acquired taste!!!) and all I will need is an occassional "tune up". I truly believe so. I would
recommend Kevin to anyone seeking to promote their health.

A friend who I trust with advice, suggested I try acupunture/Chinese medicine for the pain in my back, and knee.The history of my issue goes back thirty some years, more recently pain and extreme muscle tightness in my knee, (which was totaly replaced) ten months ago. After learning of Dr. Luo on Citysearch, I made an appointment. From the moment I entered his office I could feel I had made the right decision. Dr. Luo listened to me , he made me feel at ease in disscussing the pain and problems I have. I also had regular general conversations with Kevin in the course of my treatments and found him to be a great human being as well. From my first treatment I discovered much relief, the immediate change is amazing. He perscribed medicine for an internal condition I've had bothering me for almost five years. The Dr.s' I have seen for this have only suggested a painful surgery and that the problem would eventually reoccur.I began taking Kevin's medicine for about five days, the condition had improved to almost gone.My recent visit to Austin of three months has ended and I'm now back in Pennsylvania. I will try to find someone in my area to continue Dr. Luo's suggested treatment for me and I will continue to return to him when I come back to Austin again. Thankyou Kevin-- see you inSeptember. I hurt my back and was hardly to move my whole body, and I went to visit Dr. Luo, he only gave me two treatments, and I recovered pretty fast. I have been very pleased with Dr. Luo as he is really a careful Dr. he is very nice and firendly. I would strongly recommand him to my friends. Thank you very much Dr. Luo.

I was recommended to Kevin Luo by someone a few months ago and I am have been very pleased with him. I have always been given excellent care by him. Kevin is very knowledgeable and friendly with a clean, inviting office environment. He helped to alleviate my migraines over the course of a few visits. I recommend him to anyone in the Austin area looking for a well educated and kind acupuncturist.

I have suffered from shoulder and upper back pain for years; I also had insommia. I have taken muscle relaxers, and gotten numerous massages. Nothing helped, it was just a temporary fix. I received a couple of treatments from Kevin and since then I have been pain free from my shoulder/ upper back area and sleep soundly. I was very amazed at the fast results. I have energy every day. Kevin has given me acupunture for vertigo, lower back pain and again within a couple of treatments I felt better. I always brag to my co-workers and family that acupunture works and recommend Kevin because he is gentle and caring and he takes time from his busy schedule and listens to me talk about my job, friends and family. For the past year or so I have been in moderate to severe pain around my right elbow area. I had gone to regular doctors time and time again and they all said the same. Put heat or cold on it and rest. Nothing seemed to work until I decided to give accupuncture a try. I was very skeptical at first but upon first meeting Kevin I was immediately put at ease. After four treatments my arm has not felt this good in years. I can actually shake someones hand wthout wincing in pain. Thank You Kevin!!!
Don't ask me to explain how putting needles in someones leg is supposed to heal thier arm but it does. I will never be a skeptic again and the next time I have pain anywhere, I know where I will call first.

Wow what a relief! I had back surgery in 1987 and was rear ended in a car accident a year later. Needless to say I have been in pain for over 20 years. I had given up in 1990 deciding that if I was in pain, I must be alive! I had brain surgery in 2004, developing a tremor in my right hand, which made it difficult to eat...food would fall off of my fork before I could get it to my mouth. Depressing. A neighbor told my husband about her experience with acupuncture. I called my Insurance Company and was referred to Kevin Luo at Texas Harmony. What a blessing! After the first visit my husband and I went out to eat to celebrate our lack of pain...on the way home I suddenly realized that I had made it through the meal without a tremor! Yea! I can't tell you how excited I am to be without pain in over 20 years and to be able to eat without a tremor. I have been to countless doctors over the years; waiting in their waiting rooms forever, just to be rushed in to see the doctor for about 5 minutes, given a new pill and out you go. Not so with Kevin! He greets you with a smile and offers you hot tea or water. He is so caring; treating you as a human being, body and spirit. He listens gently for at least a half hour, answers any questions you may have, determines your treatment and then off you go to a very comforting treatment room. He is kind and professional. The needles are so small they do NOT hurt. If one is being placed in a tender spot, he'll let you know, but not to worry, it is only tender for a moment. He leaves you to relax for a half hour. My spirit has been lifted, my pain has subsided and my tremor is gone! I truly recommend Kevin and Texas Harmony! Acupuncture has been around for over 2,000 years...give it a try, I can tell you it really works!

I visited Kevin Luo after a friend receommend him to me. I had been suffering from severe nausea, dizziness, insomnia, weight loss, and general weakness and fatigue. After repeated visits to the ER and 2 different physicians, I knew I was not suffering from "a virus". In fact, 2 doctors just shrugged their shoulders and flat out told me they didnt' know what was wrong with me and sent me home. I had almost given up hope when decided to see Kevin. I felt I had more energy after just one accupuncture treatment and within 2 weeks, I was almost back to feeling normal again. I am now completely healthy and grateful I found such a wonderful Chinese medicine doctor. Kevin is very professional, very knowledgeable, kind, and focused. His off ice is in a convenient location and his office is clean and well decorated. I would definitely recommend TxHarmony to anyone looking to improve their overall health!

When I stepped into the office of Kevin Luo I immediately felt at peace. He extended a warm welcome and gave a very thorough questionaire and exam to determine the root of suffering. His office was immaculate and the treatment room was cozy and cocooning. As I relaxed, he explained the technique of acupuncture and what it can achieve. The process was not painful at all and the result is superb. Shortly after leaving the office, the feeling of well-being overwhelmed me and my headache and pain was gone! I received a total of three treatments and look forward to others because acupuncture works and Dr. Luo is wonderful!

Thank you for your wonderful and professional treatment. After 6 visits of Acupunctures, my mother's long-time problem has been significantly improved about 90%. She is very happy with the treatment result. In fact, my mother had seen doctors in Western Medicine for years, she never had this significant improvement before. Kevin at TxHarmony is very friendly and customer oriented. He made me feel very comfortable discussing my health concerns and gave me the most delicious tea after our session together. His office is beautifully decorated, quiet and in a great location. Highly recommended!
