This was many years back, but this company moved me from one apartment to another. One of the movers put their knee through my couch while carrying it down to the truck. They then called me into the truck to inform me that the couch was already damaged (which it was not). They told me to still pay in full upon completion of the move, and that I should just take the issue up with the owner later, which I foolishly believed them on and did.

Later the owner refused to repair the couch, but offered just $50 compensation, claiming that his movers said they did not do the damage, and he was thus being generous. I finally agreed, but he never paid. I pursued him with phone calls for over 6 months, but it just wasn't going to happen.

Bottom line, I'm sure if all goes well, this mover is fine, but assume they will take absolutely no responsibility what so ever, and lie in a heart beat to get you off their back.

I would strongly recommend staying away from this sort of, in my opinion, crooked business practices.

Again, I'll point out that this was many years back, and perhaps the owner (Ron Curl) has since found some ethics.

If you want to risk using this company, I do wish you luck...
My advice would be to not pay these guys a dime until the move is complete and you have inspected everything and are satisfied, else, it will likely be a tough break for you.
