Smiling faces! That's what you'll find at St. James' Episcopal School. Our brand new vibrant preschool and kindergarten provides a Montessori-based program for children 2 1/2 through 5 years old, with remarkably affordable enrollment. We have three multi-age classrooms where children learn at their own pace in a safe and nurturing educational environment. Our rich curriculum helps prepare kids for a strong and successful educational future. We welcome parent involvement and we provide opportunities for the community to share time, talent and resources with our children and families. Our program begins at 7:15am and ends at 6pm, Monday-Friday. Our mission is to encourage the development of the whole child in a caring community for children from diverse religious, ethnic and economic backgrounds. This is my daughter's third year at St. James and I am always amazed with what she is learning academically and socially. The staff genuinely care about each and every child. Their first priority is making sure each child can be the best he or she can be in a loving nurturing environment. The school constantly communicates with parents and they are never too busy to answer questions or address any concerns you may have about your child. My daughter loves going to school and I could not have picked a better place for her to start her education. I am truly appreciative of St. James Episcopal School.
Pros: Accessible, convienantly located, nurturing environment
Cons: I may have to change schools if first grade is not offered in the 2009-2010 school year.
