Went to test drive a car, loved it and took it home the same day! The whole staff at Bertera was very friendly and attentive. I actually had my 5-year old daughter with me for the entire time. She was a bit antsy, but Marc was great! He

Went to buy a car from them, was told it is available and in stock. Got to the dealership after a 2 hour drive and was told that it had been sold the night before. I called from another number and didn't give my name the next day and told the car is still available for sale.

So, I read all of the reviews on here about this dealership and how corrupt and what-not they were and decided to go for a visit and see for myself. They had some nice cars on their website (with stock numbers) that I wanted to see so I headed over from Boston. I dealt with Michael Tex and he patiently talked to me about the various vehicles and we went on 3 test drives. He was well informed and patient and after the test drives, I said I liked a car but I'd have to think about it. No pressure whatsoever, he thanked me for coming, gave me his card and told me to call him if I had any questions.

Just because someone else had a bad experience and decided to go off on a rant, doesn't make this place a bad dealership. They had nice cars and good service. I was greeted before I walked in the door and treated very professionally.

I saw a car that Bertera Chevy had advertised on Ebay. It was the exact model & color that I was looking for. I called he number in the ad & got a salesman who connected me with Dominick the Sales Manager. I feel that I had a fairly difficult deal for them to work with. I was trading a 2007 Civic EX for a 2008 Civic SI. I wanted to negotiate the asking price on the car that Bertera had while still getting a fair trade in value on my 07 Civic. After a short while, Dominick & I came to a very fair agreement. I was treated like a valued customer. I rarely see that anymore. Dominick & his team went above & beyond what I feel would be the norm. The car was even delivered to me in NY (2 hours away) at no additional charge. I am giving Bertera Chevrolet & Dominick the highest possible rating because they treated me as if I had been dealing with them for years. I will buy from them again & I will recommend them highly to my friends & family.??

We contacted this dealer because we were interested in a particular car model. We were told by email and on the phone that they had that exact model available for a test drive. When we arrived at the dealership they told us they never had it! Moreover, they blatantly lied to us about there being no difference whatsoever between driving a front-wheel drive (which we wanted) and an all-wheel drive (which we very cleary said we didn't want). We purchased a 2004 Cooper S from the dealer 1 August 2008. We buy cars infrequently and this one was easier than some. The salesman was an automobile enthusiast and was more knowledgeable than any other sales people we delt with on our quest for this car. You do have to be willing to play the "car game" and wait for the inevitable negotiation phase. That said, the real joy was how the car was prepared for us. We asked that the car be cleaned and that a scratch be removed from the bumper. The preparation was superb. On their own, they replaced the brakes, various bulbs that apparently were out and cleaned the interior and exterior as if readying it for a show. A delay in delivery of a day was necessary to remove an aftermarket tint film that wouldn't pass a state inspection. We were in the dark about such a requirement and removal was no easy task. Full gas tank was provided and we were ready to go. The only down side was the apparent blocking of subsequent calls to the salesman to inquire about a missing trim piece. A call to a real Mini dealer took care of the problem. We would recommend this dealer and would consider for our next purchase.

I found the staff to be extremely courteous to both my wife and I. Our sales rep, Frank was the reason we did one stop buying. We had planned on visiting other showrooms, but enjoyed his straight forward approach in explaining the inventory. We found it easy to purchase our vehicle from Frank. Great staff at Bertera.??

I went in there knowing what it was I wanted. I had been car shopping for sometime until I went to see you guys and I must say the customer service was a lot different than most. They made me feel that I was the only one buying a car. In the end I got a much better car than what I was looking for in the beginning.

The one thing he said when I was looking at different cars was "does this car WOW you" At first I laughed but the more I thought about it, the more I thought what a great way for me to find a car I really liked. The first car he showed me I honestly couldn't say yes to that question, but in the end, looking and finding the car I wanted I knew the car was for me when I could say "yes this car wows me!" It was a great way to really see how you feel about a car. Steve was very funny and shared a lot about himself. I felt as if I knew him. I feel that in the job of customer service it always nice when someone recognizes how good you made their experience. I wish I had turned around out the moment that I walked in. The woman at the front desk won't even look at you or acknowledge your presence, and the thiefs in the sales department will steal you blind. The service department will treat you like something stuck to the bottom of their shoe. Not what you would call a pleasant experience, in fact, I believe that I would rather have a root canal than ever go back to this establishment. Fortunately, for the consumers, this is not the only show in town. You may sell a lot of cars, but I would love to know just how many people are repeat customers. It won't be me, and I will make sure that anyone who comes within earshot will hear about just how bad a car dealer you actually are. People don't like to get ripped off, they don't appreciate being mistreated, and they don't forget it! BERERA IS BAD NEWS.

After 6 weeks of battling with Bertera Chevy over several items with no success, I feel that I should warn the community at large that they are a very sleazy enterprise, one which should be avoided at all costs.

The first issue with my experience is that the price that they advertise will not be honored. After much haggling, they finally came very close, so I caved in because I wanted the vehicle. Several of their inducements are out and out scams - first, the sales manager showed me a NADA book where the vehicle I was looking at was listed at a trade-in value higher than the price we had negotiated. I discovered later that the guide he showed me was over 6 months old. Secondly, they talk constantly about their "Free tires for life" program. Well, don't believe it - first of all, tires must be worn to 3/32" tread depth. On most cars, this means that you will need to drive on unsafe tires for 5,000 miles before you can get "free" tires. On top of that, you're limited to $150 per tire, which for certain vehicles falls short of what tires actually cost. Finally, they also require you to do ALL service (including oil changes) at their dealership - a major windfall for them, because no one in their right mind would patronize that place. Their workmanship is lousy, and their knowledge is even worse.

They added several charges on the invoice that turned out to be fraudulent, and will not refund any money for services not performed, and on top of everything else, they messed up the vehicle registration and I'm getting bills from my Motor Vehicle department.

All in all, this is a dealer which is staffed by some of the lowest low-lifes on the earth - stay away, or at least be advised that they will cheat you on as many things as they can.
