We put the Pine Oaks address in our GPS and off we headed from Boston to South Easton. The GPS led us right to a cul-de-sac of homes. Hmm, time to try again and just follow the road and read the address. In the middle of a quiet residential area out pops the sign for Pine Oaks.
We paid for our round in the well appointed golf shop, and were off on our way. You should make certain to look at the course map and go over the bridge to the first tee. We didn't and started on the fourth hole on accident. No problem, we realized our error and started over.
Pine Oaks has some nice wide fairways with varied terrain and a little bit of water. We enjoyed the tree lined fairways and overall great course maintenance. Having played several courses lately that are smaller you never know what you will get. Pine Oaks made the right choice to create a nice 9 hole course that is fun to play with a nice variety of holes. I really liked this course and if I lived nearby would probably want a membership.
Near dusk we were warned by a regular player to watch out for a fox on the course and told there was also a nearby raccoon. We didn't see either, and made enough noise to let them know to hide.

Pros: Course well maintained, nice mix of holes

Cons: Signage minimal on course

Pine Oaks is nestled amongst lovely residential area of Easton. The course is lovely. Tee times cannot be made but there usually are no problems once you arrive to get onto the course. Reasonable prices. Great pro shop with huge selection of used golf items as well.
