Fantastic beer selection, tasty food. Super busy on weekends, so get there early or you'll be waiting in the aisle or standing outside in the cold.

I had this raspberry beer here that was simply amazing! Great pomme frites style fries, excellent dishes. Lots of comfort food. Fun to go with a big group of people!

Went here for dinner with a large group and it was perfect. The beer selection was enormous, so there is definitely something for everybody. The food was delicious and everybody left happy and full.

The Public House is one of my favorite bars in Boston. It has a fantastic selection of Belgian beers (including ridiculous beers) and their food is great. Make sure to get there early if you want a table.

If you like Belgian beer, you will love thise place. But the beer is not the only great thing, the food is absolutely AMAZING. It gets pretty busy, so expect a wait. The frites are delicious and my husband loves the macaroni & cheese.

I cannot wait to try their new restaurant down the street.

That being said I had a horrible experience last week. Saturday night a small group of friends and I went to Publick House for drinks to see a friend who had recently moved back to the Boston area. Feeling generous, I offered to buy drinks

Went here last night. Menu was very limited and the main courses over-priced. I ordered the veggie burger - could not finish it. It was moist and paste-like - nothing like a burger. I would describe it as a fat potato pancake, undercooked. When put between white bread it was horrible. It was a paste with a horrible combination of spices. I like my veggie burgers to have texture. The fries were horrible too - sodden with oil, that I suspected was overused due to the fact that the fries were very dark. I had a stomach ache for hours afterwards. And the waitress was very off-hand. She plopped everything down in the middle of the table on top of the wine menu that she couldn't be bothered to remove. She kept trying to remove our plates before we had finished. The place was not crowded (Wednesday fairly early in the evening) so there was no reason to hustle us out. The place was shabby - no maintenance in years. It probably looks good in the dark but needs a serious overhaul.

This past Saturday (July 10, 2010) my fianc and some of our friends experienced the worst experience at the restaurant ever.
After a long day of work, I was meeting my fianc there who was having dinner with our friends. They must have been there for hour and a half when I got there. Every one of them had just finished a full meal and were still having drinks AND were planning to have another round. While I was looking at the food and beer menu, a hostess came by and told us that there are people waiting on the list for that exact table, and I will not be served any food. Basically, we were told to leave. When we asked to speak with manager, Mike Murphy, he explained that it is business and he can??t have people sitting there for few hours and enjoy only their drinks (even though at the table right next to us, there was a party of six having only drinks). At least to my friends, fianc and I, the approach taken was extremely disrespectful. If exactly that table was needed for a larger party (and it was 6 of us), the manager could have offered a smaller table we could sit at. We are very easy going people and would have not had a problem with that at all. Instead, without ??I??m sorry? or any other explanation, we were asked to pay our bill and leave.
I have never been disrespected like this in my life. Manager, Mike Murphy, definitely does not possess the right skills to be an effective manager for the business. My friends, fianc and I have always enjoyed and recommended the Publick House to others, but it has become a place that does not deserve a second chance, and we would never come back or suggest it to other people again.

Pros: Beer

Cons: Management/Service

Seriously, everyone loves the Publick House. This is a fantastic place for drinks and dinner year-round. It has tons of beer on tap and the food is delicious. They have cheese plates, fresh salads, and a bunch of entree and sandwich options. My personal favorite dinner option is the veggie burger, made in-house (yum), but I also really love getting a cheese plate and sitting in their outside seating. They have some of the only outdoor seating in Brookline--and not much, at that. It is picnic table-style (only outside, not inside!), but so nice on a spring/summer day. Because it is such a popular spot, it gets crowded, so if you like your space get there on the early side.

The Publick House often gets derided for its food and waitstaff, and yet, I've never had a bad meal there. The mac and cheese, with a plethora of add-ons like bacon(!), is decadent, hearty, and just what you need to get through the long Boston winter. The top is crispy, all browned from the over, and the orecchiette pasta underneath are coated in the creamy, gooey cheese. Yum! And the veggie burger might just be the best one in the world - it actually tastes like vegetables (I know, crazy!).

The beer selection is, of course, amazing, but if you're interested in the food, try visiting early to beat the mad rush.

One of my favorite places to have dinner in the neighborhood. I am hard-pressed to find another beer menu that compares to the Publick House, both in scale and variety. I'm surprised to read bad reviews of the food here, but to each his own. I've been eating here pretty often for several years, and I can't think of any bad meals ever. The mac and cheese in particular, is great.

My only advice to anyone who wants to try this place, don't waste your time on a weekend night. It's crowded, and loud, and not nearly as pleasant. And good luck getting a table. Go for dinner on a weeknight. You'll be much happier.

Last night we ordered the whole evening different kind o Belgian beers, until we got 3 of them which obviously weren't fresh anymore. Even though I asked gently, the bar tender didn't want to give us a new beer and started a pointless discussion with us about taste. He insulted us by saying we had no experience. I can tell you I'am from Belgium, I know the taste of beer since I was a kid.

Finally we got the bill of 140 USD including the 3 beers we refused. Bastards. 2 thumps down for this bar/restaurant!!

Cons: Lots of people

went for a simple bite to eat on 6/9/09. The beef stew was overly salty and cold. The mashed potatoes were also cold and very salty. The waitress could have cared less.
I should have sent the food back and not paid.

Horrible dining experience. thank God there are other restaurants in the area.

I've been to Publick House many times over the past few years. It has in my opinion the best beer menu in town and some very decent comfort food to compliment. I've never been impressed with the staff, who are less than attentive and often arrogant, but I had two experiences recently that are worth highlighting.

About a month ago, I ordered a draught beer and was brought a bottle (an honest mistake). I informed the waitress and asked for the draught version. She brought back the same bottled beer that had been poured into a glass (the wrong glass I might add) behind the counter. I told her I knew what she had done and she finally came back with what I had asked for, but the staff at a place like this should know that the clientele will know the difference between a draught and a bottle, and I was quite surprised to find that she would even attempt to trick me.

The second problem I had at Publick House was last night, and it's the reason that I won't be going back again. I was in a group of five; we ate and drank for a couple hours, and then were met by four other friends. We asked our waitress to close our tab. Our friends ordered a round, and not surprisingly she brought the tab for the five of us with their four drinks on it, which is what we wanted to avoid. We told her what had happened, and she walked away. We took that to mean that she refused to split the tab up, so we asked our friends for cash for their drinks, and then I paid the balance. When she came to collect the check, I informed her to take off the 18% gratuity for parties of 6 or more. My reasoning, which I gave her, was that we were a party of five, we had asked her to provide our tab separately which she did not do, and she refused to split the tab when we identified the issue. She said that she would get her manager to take off the 18%. The manager brought the tab back over, and of course, it's still on there. He dropped off the tab and fled, never to be seen again, so I asked the waitress what had happened. Her response was "I don't have time for this." At this point, I'm irate, I pay the tab and leave. Now I have to file a dispute with Visa and have them collect my money for me. How annoying. I have never been treated like that by wait staff anywhere before. The funny thing is, if she had done what I asked I would have given her 20% at a minimum. Now the restaurant won't be compensated at all for my entire meal.

I would recommend going to the bar at Publick House. I can't say the same about the dining room. You will find more polite and attentive service at the RMV than at Publick House.

The Publik House is always very crowded and they don't take reservations. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. They have great food, especially the mussels, fries, and mac & cheese. The waitstaff are unattentive and generally seem to not really care so much about their customers. This makes for a mediocre experience overall.

we vegetarians love to have a burger with our beer like all the rest and this place offers a scrumptious veggie burgers - they're not frozen and flat like alot of places, but are thick and juicy and you can actually see the veggies in it.

such a cozy place - you definitely wanna be here on a cold snowy night.

The Publick House is going is a new favorite. The food and beer were DIVINE! It was super crowded when we arrived at 6:30 but we managed to get seats at the bar after a bit. It took a while to get a table, but the beers were so great (Mojo IPA and another IPA) that I didn't mind. The calamari salad was incredible. The mussels were awesome (although they come with a VERY small amount of fries), and the lamb chops and lobster mac and cheese "surf and turf" were ridiculously good! My dining partners loved it too. We will go back.

My wife and I went to Publick House Sunday Night to have a few beers and dinner. I have always enjoyed their selection of beers/ales/ etc.. However I never enjoyed the staff. I have been in the Industry for 16+ years and always have had a rude experience there. They come off as them doing you a favor by let you sit at their bar. Wrong!!! We left there after one beer and went to the Washington Sq Tavern. where we had a much more positive experience. With the way the market is today loose the snobby attitude or you'll go under its just a matter of time. To many think they know everything hipsters.

Firstly, this is a Belgian Beer House with AMAZING beer and food. It gets pretty busy, but the people waiting on you try their best to get you your goods as quickly as possible. The Delirium Tremens beer should definitely be tried by anyone who likes beer. The frites with beer mustard, the burgers and the macaroni & cheese with bacon are THE BOMB! Everything is made to perfection and I couldn't recommend The Publick House more. When anyone comes to visit me, I make sure to take them here and I actually chose both of my last apartments partially for their proximity to this fine institution.

When I walk into this place, I am reminded of the pubs I used to go to when I spend a semester in England. I originally went there because they have my favorite beer, an extremely rare belgium beer called qwak. They have the best selection of belgium beers I have found in Boston, though they are expensive to purchase. Also, I was surprised by the food, it was great. The mac and cheese is the best I have had at a restaurant. They also have some more sophisticated dishes for someone who wants adult food. Based on that review, you would think I would have given them five starts. Alas, their service is criminally poor. I leave there feeling like they just do not care. Because the place is packed, there is a good chance that they do not care. They will ignore their customers for long periods of time, even when it is not super crowded. There is no excuse for the way they treat their customers. I will continue to go because I love the beer that I can get nowhere else. I just don't have to like it.

I live locally (within walking distance), so I go the Publick House now and again. The food is good, and the beer selection is unique for around here---mostly Belgian beers, and some other craft breweries represented, too.

I would come here more often, but the service is bad. The bar and wait staff are indifferent. Even though I'm local, they don't try and get to know me, and I'm never greeted in a familiar way. I regularly have to go out of my way just to order another beer or to get silverware, for example. I feel like the staff doesn't want to be there, or they're just not friendly people. Neighbors I've talked to seem to agree.

Still, it's the only bar within walking distance that has outdoor seating (very limited). Come early, enjoy some drinks, and be patient with the service. Don't be shy about low/not tipping. If I didn't live nearby, I would have left a tiny tip on some occasions.

Very disappointed. Just wanted to have a good burger. Went early, around 5pm so there was no rush. The burger had obviously been frozen and microwaved (i know the taste i do it at home). It was dry, grey, tasteless. We couldn't believe how bad it was. We told the server who didn't really care. I have not had such a bad burger in any pub.Usually it's really fresh, juicy, ground beef. I am not a beer drinker but i would not ever go there for the food. The wait staff seems to be going thru the motions with the least effort. I'm all over the Washington Tavern down the street from now on. This place has changed so much from the original Aram Cara-we loved it then.

We love good beer. We got a beer at the bar, while waiting 30 minutes for our seats on a Saturday night at 6pm. Some people got up, we sat down, enjoyed another beer, then we got our seat - yea!

So, we ordered the muscles hearing they were really good - which were FANTASTIC! Huge, delicious, and we had some fries that were delicious too. We were so full from the giant tureen of muscles, we couldn't order an actual dinner.

We had planned on trying one more beer as we decided to finish the app, and try to digest it a bit, you know, relax, when our waitress shows up with the check.
WELL, THANK YOU VERY MUCH, I GUESS YOU WANT US TO LEAVE. We maybe wanted to order dinner?
She also disappeared for so long, we had received our muscles, but had no silverware, no napkins, I had ordered water, never got that. We eventually flagged someone else down so we could start eating with utensils.

The service, among the worst in Boston, makes me not want to go back. The bartenders are very busy, not very friendly. We went to the monk room and finished our beer at that point, leaving very full, but we had bad service. I might not go back, or only go to drink at the bar. Wished they had treated us a little better it seems like such a good, popular place.

You want a great beer selection? Go to the The Lower Depths tap room in Kenmore Square. Good Service, and decent food.

We love good beer. We got a beer at the bar, while waiting 30 minutes for our seats on a Saturday night at 6pm. Some people got up, we sat down, enjoyed another beer, then we got our seat - yea!

We live a block away and go out to eat at least 4 times a week. Between my husband and I, we have had 4 episodes at Publick House. All with at least a 30 to 45 minute wait for food, and that's not even at a peak hour. These attempts to enjoy a local restaurant were about a year or more ago. We decided to give it another try. How could they stay in business with such bad service. Things must have changed, we think. It was Friday night at 5:30. The restaurant is 25% full. We both ordered a beer and a salad. The beer came quickly. The salad came in 45 minutes. The waitress said it takes a long time to make the zuchini salad. What!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The stuffed zuchini salad was cold and so was my husband's calamari salad. Well, Publick House has not changed. Go across the street to the GT for a much better meal and great drinks.

PlatinumElite is obviously a D-Bag. And a whinny little girl at best. On another note, I recommend the elk chops, New Zealand antelope, and alligator tenderloin.

As a direct result of this evening's events at The Publick House in Brookline, my party of five walked out having paid five cents above our $128.05 bill, simply because none of us had anything smaller than a dime.

I was with four friends this evening, and we thought we would check out The Publick House's trivia night tonight, as we enjoy trivia nights and, up until now, also enjoyed The Publick House.

Trivia began between 8:15 and 8:30. After the first question, we were informed by our server that since there was a long wait, they needed the table, as we were finished with dinner.

Our table had been cleared just about five or ten minutes prior, and we still had beer in our glasses.

Never did they ask if we wanted dessert, after dinner drinks, coffee, more beer - nothing. Basically, we were handed the bill and recommended that if we wished to stay for trivia and keep drinking, we could do so at the bar.

Up until this point, it was a pleasant evening. Everyone was happy, polite, and undemanding.

We all agreed that this just wasn't right, and I went to speak with the host, who promptly dispatched me to manager. I explained to the manager where we were sitting, when we arrived, what we had been consuming and that we planned to continue consuming.

He reaffirmed that if we wished to stay, we could do so at the bar because of their two hour wait.

We did not wish to stay. We paid and walked out.

While I understand that turning tables is not only the recipe to clearing a two hour wait list, but also adding revenue for the evening, I feel that their decision was quite short-sighted by displacing customers that had spent over $30 at the bar, almost $130 (up until that point) at the table, and an undetermined amount of additional after-dinner drinking revenue, not to mention the now sacrificed good will inherent with keeping loyal customers happy.

Great atmosphere and great beer selection. Food and service, not so good. I went after seeing a rave review on Phantom Gourmet about their Mac & Cheese. What I got was a bland bowl of shells with a pasty, tasteless sauce that obviously was pre-made a day in advance. Horrible. We sat at the bar, the bartender was a one-word answer type. No suggestions, no greeting, no fun. Go for the beer, but leave when you get hungry.

I've been to the Publick House a few times before my visit tonight, and each time has been great. Beer and food are always abundant, and while one finds him or herself waiting for slightly longer than average periods of time for their server, it has never had a negative influence on my experience.

Here is the HUGE exception.

I ate at this establishment tonight in hopes of reliving my previous visits that have always left me wanting more of the trappist style beer and hearty comfort food. However, the service was below average. Our server barely made eye contact with my boyfriend and I as we gave him our orders, let alone checked back to make sure everything was alright. We basically had to grab him as he whisked by our table just to ask for the check. He began clearing the table and watched my boyfriend insert his credit card into the checkbook. The server left the table without taking it, and never reappeared. We had to ask the hostess where he was, which was in the EMPTY section of the restaurant, cleaning tables.
Holding two server positions myself, I can understand that he was probably very busy, so I let it go. Because of the lack of standard interaction and care, we left him a tip of 15%. Not a bad tip for the situation! Being server at two restaurants myself, I usually leave at least 20% because I know how hard we work for our gratuities. I am sure my audience will agree that something must have been very wrong for me to warrant a lower gratuity.
The worst part:
My boyfriend and I had just left the restaurant and were walking towards the car, when our server steps outside and yells "YEAH, I'M HAVING A BAD DAY TOO!", and proceeded to FLIP US OFF! I was shocked. We alerted the manager, who was very understanding of the whole situation, offering us some sort of compensation. We didn't accept anything, as we simply wanted the server's actions brought to attention.

We will definitely be back, but it just won't be the same anymore.

My wife and I dined at Publick House on a Sunday early evening. There was no wait and we were led first to the right side dining room, which was O.K. On asking for a quieter place, we were taken to the Monk's Cell on the left, which suited us better It was a pleasure to see a well stocked bar in the room which also displayed " yard" glasses, a rarity nowdays. We shared a 22oz Weihenstephaner Hefe Weiss, which was delicately fruity, not hoppy and refreshingly light. However next time I will order the sampler first to acquaint myself with the great variety they offer. Although, I have done some home brewing in the distant past, I don't consider myself a beer connoisseur and am willing to learn.
From, other reviews in this forum, we expected bad or indifferent service. The reverse was our experience. Our waitress, Lindsay, was very courteous and her service was impeccable. We were served Waterzooi, a seafood chowder, and Moule Frite with spinach and tomato. Both dishes were very tasty, well seasoned and in great quantities. Years ago in Coolidge Corner, there used to be a restaurant called Jack and Marion's. It had one special dish, which if you could finish, they put your picture on the wall. The same could have been done with our portions. Regretfully, then, we could not try their dessert menu. Next time we will, and it will be very soon.

If you want a place to get drunk on Budweiser don't go. This place is about quality beer, generally of Belgian style. If you would like to learn about these beers the staff are fanatics about their beer and have an encyclopedic knowledge of the beer they draw.

Watch the alchohol percentage on these beers. Two of some of these beers have as much alchohol as a six pack or more of "testosterone" beers.

It such a cozy bar with a wide selection of beers and best bar food ever!!! Mac and Cheese is my favorite of all time. Ribs is a must!!! Big thick fries in a brown bag have me drooling. The only problem with this place is a first come first serve for a table and you could probably fainted if you were there when you are starving. The food also might take a while. But overall the service is good and the food is good too. I definitely recommend the public house.

The Publick House is, without a doubt, the best place in Boston for anyone with a serious interest in domestic and imported beers of a higher caliber. David, who co-owns the bar with his wife, does an amazing job at acquiring rare kegs in good condition, which means you're almost certain to find a real treat on one of the 30+ taps between the Publick House and the Monk's Cell (the adjacent, more intimate and relaxed, bar that they recently added). The bottle menu is extensive and well selected, providing a number of quality selections that are rarely, if ever, to be found on tap. Additionally, there is often a special bottles list, with offerings that are only available in limited quantities, or are of an older vintage (I hear David is working on building a vintage bottle selection in the cellar). The bar staff at the Publick House are all very knowledgeable and helpful, though they are sometimes a bit overwhelmed by the demand from customers on Friday and Saturday nights. The wait staff is a bit more spotty, however, and may not be able to help you with a beer selection as well as someone behind the bar. They do know the food, though, which is more in line with their job. The food at the Publick House is very good, with many dishes utilizing the various beers on tap, in a combination of traditional Belgian dishes, as well as American pub fare. This is truly a mecca for beer lovers.

This place is really great for a good beer and the atmosphere is comfortable, however, in other ways it has proved disappointing. The jockying for "first available" seating can be uncomfortable and sitting near the door in the winter can be quite chilly. The food is okay, not bad, but nothing to heep praises upon. And the service is touch and go, sometimes it is good and other times not so much. For instance, we grabbed seats at the bar one afternoon and the bar tender served my husband a beer in a broken glass, when shown the broken glass the bartender (a man, the women bar keep is great) said that he would toss the galss when my husband was done with it. Normally a broken beverage glass warrants an apology from the server and a replcement beverage in a new glass. This guy was smug and aloof the entire time, which tarnished our experience to say the least. Overall we like this place, just wish some of the staff would get replaced.

When I first went to this place my first thought was "Monk's" a Philadelphia establishment. They are both dark, crowded, variable service, great and interesting beer and awesome food. I was so excited when I found this place, and it is in the most unusual spot in Washington Square. It looks like a weird strip mall, but you walk into a dark wooden, medival pub. The best times to go there are an early weeknight dinner or on a Saturday or Sunday right at noon or after the brunch rush at about 4pm. So, relax, grab a seat, have a beer sampler. If you want to experiement with the beer, and everyone should, get the sampler because if you order a beer and you don't like it, you are stuck with it. The staff knows what they are talking about when it comes to the beer selection, but people have different tastes, just remember your own. The food is great, the mussels are so good, and they give you a lot! The "fries" they give you with the mussels aren't as good as Monk's and they don't give you the bourbon mayo, which makes me long for Philly. But they do make up for it in other ways, such as; huge portions, fat, thick french fries with a sandwich or fish that hold up to vinegar very well. I always try something new, they have a lot of new items on their menu so it can be very difficult to decide. They have traditional Belgium food, large plates like fish and chips and macaroni and cheese. Smaller plates like sandwiches and salads, the calamari salad is great, it is mostly calamari with mixed greens. It is a meal in itself. I have never had a bad meal here and although I have experienced some waiting, it is nothing that wouldn't make me go back again and again as long as I live here.

After going here consistently for the past three years, Im updating my old review. The food continues to impress; Jim is always trying something new and interesting but he keeps the classics like his fish & chips and the Great 8 mac & cheese. I love the new Belgian French-fry menu with gourmet mayos. The brew selection is carefully chosen and served in the correct glass for its type, a true beer connoisseurs' wet dream. However, the service has been slipping there are a few servers that are constantly top notch but Ive been getting frustrated with some of the slow and indifferent servers. And be prepared to be stalked if anyone sees you paying your bill, seating is limited and youve got to fend for yourself.

A nice selection of beer and a wide assortment of delcious cheese platters. Good food too; impressive mashed potatoes. The service was really bad when we went though. Our waiter was too busy flirting with the female college-aged clientele to be very attentive, which was a little disconcerting. It was also very cold in there. I needed to wear my jacket throughout the duration of the meal. Not good. But since I liked the food and beer, I'll go back and give it a few more chances.

the glory that is the tasting sampler. four 4.5 oz glasses of the draught of your choice. $1.50 per sample for any beer <7% alcohol content, $2 for >7%. the best deal around and fabulous, unusual beer to boot! AWESOME. it is, however, noisy as all get out with limited seating.

This is an important destination for anyone searching for a real glass of beer. This restaurant focuses on what I have come to know as "beer culture". It is a place that beer connoiseurs (or just plain ol' "beer geeks") can call home. It is not just a bar or tavern. The management caters to the importance of good beer coupled with great food. They will even serve you a beer in the correct vessel according to the style of your chosen beer!

anam cara is a fabulous place that i frequent. the beer list is phenomenal, and they know how to store and serve their beers. the chefs there come up with some excellent dishes, too. the decor is another plus, especially the tables by the windows with the big curtains. it does get very busy on weekend nights, and it can be hard to find a table, though the outdoor tables are available in the summer to alleviate some of the wait. service is usually pretty good.

Don't let the name fool you, this is not an Irish bar. I have met the owners and one is in fact Irish & the other a former professional brewer. Have planted myself here many times now and I have to say I've found the best beer bar in the city. Antique gothic decor w/ interesting brewery art on the walls mostly from Belgium, Germany & England. The beer menu boasts "24 serious draughts & 90 serious bottles" and believe me it's true. It's nice to see a beer list about quality not just quantity! Food is very nice (try the jerk ribs) and each menu item is accompanied by a suggested beer to match. Nice touch! Can get pretty crowded at the bar but there seems to be plenty of table space below or outside. Worth the 10 minute T ride!

Certainly a great pub to stop by during the week. Weekends get a little hectic, but this is Boston folks! Name a nice pub / bar that isn't mobbed on the weekend.
The beer selection is top notch - many beers that are hard to find elsewhere - identifying this as a great place in my book.
Atmosphere is great. It is a roomy place, very well matching what most people would picture an Irish pub to be.
Bar service is on or off - sometimes great, sometimes you have to wave your money in the air for attention. The beer is always finely poured, however.

Strike One: Saturday night. Piece of paper says, 'seat yourself'. Girlfriend and I had to jostle for position and STALK other patrons who were already dining. "Whoa, did someone just ask for the check? Let's stand by that table."

Strike Two: Barkeep gives me the wrong check card back, something I don't realize until I'm going to pay for gas on the following Monday. Had to cancel card. Annoying.

Strike Three: Sunday brunch. Takes half an hour to get our food delivered. Server tries to give it to the table next to us...was confused that we had ordered three plates and there were just two of us (we were sharing a fruit/yogurt plate). "Are you sure this is yours? There are three plates here." JUST PUT DOWN THE FOOD! Self-serve coffee.

I'll take my business across the street to the Wash. Sq. Tavern from now on.

This bar is a great place for meeting a bunch of friends or on a date. I was there on a late Saturday afternoon and caught an Irish band which were great! The food and service was also very good. Limited menu but tasty!

This place is a great spot. It can be crowded on the weekends, but it is fun and has great atmosphere.
