EMBER appears almost as a fusion of Malibu and Manhattan, a seamless blend of casual sophistication and contemporary style, merging restaurant and gallery, fine food and art, a presentation of the essential simplicity of fine dining without extravagance or excess. Featuring our open kitchen as focal point, EMBER'S main dining room presents a myriad of seating options for 120 guests, including the expansive central bar where our full dinner menu is offered. Chose a secluded corner, or sit center stage and look on as our staff prepares the South Shores finest cuisine over the open flames of our wood fired grill.

Charly and George are an amazing team. We are there quite frequently and each time far surpasses the previous. The incredible dishes that George prepares are beyond compare, the atmosphere is tranquil and contemporary, and the service is impeccable! This restaurant is the jewel of the South Shore! Congratulations, Charly, on five fabulous years!

Thanks Charly and George for Ember
by lizborn
Dining at Ember is a unique experience, combining excellent food and service with a beautiful, artistic, and comfortable setting.
Charly and George have combined their unusual and creative talents to produce a restaurant that could easily fit into any large cosmopolitan city.....
New York, Miami, Boston, you name it. We are so lucky to have it here on the South Shore.
I am looking forward to the Nov. 14th. Chef's dinner celebrating the 5th. anniversary of Ember. Saw the menu and can't wait!
Pros: You could call it "trendy", I call it fun
Cons: none that I can find

The South Shore?!
by ricecooker1
I was in for dinner last week, and it was excellent. The atmosphere was like nothing else outside of any city, be it Boston or New York, very cool and modern. The menu was all encompassing, pizza to beef tenderloin and everything in between. The free range chicken was very moist, with salty caramelized skin with braised fingerling potatoes and roasted root vegetables ( the baby turnips were the highlight). The grilled rack of veal was cooked perfectly, the Roquefort and shallot smashed potatoes were the best! Next time i'm going for the lamb shank with mushroom polenta. The table next to us got it and the smell was enough to make me go back, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Watching the boys in the kitchen while we ate was like dinner and a show! The wine list had more to offer than we knew what to do with and the martini list was very creative. We will be back.
Pros: Great food and Atmosphere

Wonderful food and wine beautifully served!
by Dgmull
This restaurant is so beautiful...from the lighting, the
landscaping, the artwork, to the furniture....it's all lovely and feels like a you are visiting a European city.
The wonderful food is beautifully served and the menu is varied. You can get a flat bread pizza for $14 or a
$35 entree. The wines are varied and excellent and served in beautiful wine globes...that make the world of difference. The bar is lively and the open floor plan makes you feel the energy of the people around you.
This restaurant works very hard to earn you business. The Chef is wonderful...the service is great. You will not be disappointed! Bon Apetit!
Pros: Wonderful Food and Wonderful Ambiance
Cons: I can't think of one!

Boston dropped onto the South Shore
by Winemark
I dine out constantly, 3-4 nights a week. Ember is as good as anything in Boston but with tons of parking and is a lot closer to home. No TV's , Keno or any of the other crap that polutes most suburban restaurants. Fine dining and a good bar scene for the post college crowd on the South Shore
Pros: City style and quality dining in the burbs
Cons: people haven't picked up on this the way they should yet.
