The scene is laughable, they really try to appear elite and posh...but much is lost in translation.

However, my laughter ended when I was treated with total disrespect by the staff. I think this was part of their attempt to be high class,

If you would like to taste the traditional Hungarian dishes and wines, go to the Liszt Ferenc Square's Caf Mir Grande!

They have fresh and delicious food, polite service and pleasant atmosphere in the city of the centre.

I have been there several times with my friends already and we always got good impressions on the Hungarian hospitality.

Try it, you wont regret it!

You can read and watch more information and pictures under Caf Mir Grande's website www.cafemiro.hu/grande/

Pros: The best restaurant in Budapest

Cons: Budapest

Boston is not known for their club scene, unfortunately and so we're given limited options. Saint overall is a marginal one, a safe choice if you want to avoid the college-age crowds. I went back in 2002 and recently revisited it for a b-day celebration. Everyone was buying me cosmos all night & we didn't leave the dance floor, which made the evening fly by and feel more like an "event" than a typical night out. That said - though I can't say I didn't have fun - I have a few complaints: Not enough places to sit and relax between dance sets, cramped dance area, drinks were so small you could down a Cosmo in 3 sips. And not that it's Saints fault but the crowd was a bit lame for some reason / just not very many happy people, i.e. not many people smiling or looking like they were having fun. In fact, one guy pushed me on the dance floor because he thought I bumped into him though I hadn't. If they're going to be that aggressive on the dance floor, I'd rather be in New York or Jersey.

Pros: fun if you're the birthday girl & everyone's buying u drinks

Cons: a bit cramped / not a fun crowd

if you like gypsy bar and estate, you will like saint. its very dark inside, but the staff was polite and the bartenders are very attentive. the crowd is 20s and 30s, and its a good place to dance, but very tough to have a conversation. lots of couches to lounge, and the drinks we had were strong. get there early to avoid a cover. if you like dive bars and cheaper places, then saint is not for you. overall, a fun time.

I refuse to go back to Saint and don't recommend that you go there either.

Cons: all of it !!

My roommate and I had RSVP'ed for a party and had to stand out side for about 45 minutes before we could get in. Who got in before us? A bunch of "regulars", cougars, and 50 year old looking men. (I'm not saying that they can't come out and party but if they got here 30 minutes after me, why should they be given priority? sheesh)

Inside: No one looked like they were having a good time! Why leave everyone on line outside, pretend that you "are at capacity" and then when people get inside it's a joke !

Music: Eh whatever, there were a few old school hits but they certainly didn't make up for the trash that they played at the end. They made it clear that they wanted everyone out by 2. Hmph.

Drinks: Sub-par is an understatement. Furthermore, it takes way too long to get a drink here. One waitress per bar? You're kidding. I am notoriously lightweight - I had a long island iced tea and a kamikaze shot .....I've never been more sober in my life. These drinks weren't cheap either !! Ugh

I told you in the title - this place is pretty bad.

Pros: My roomie and I pimped the system and only paid half the cover. Ha ! Take That !
There is one cute bouncer at the door. Big whoop.

We went past Saturday night & had a great time there.
The doorstaff were polite, the bartenders were there anytime we wanted a drink.
music was a little cliche, but not bad.& fun decor.
(Whats with the tall guy? he handed somthing to my girl, which she promtly threw away)
That got my attention!
Overall though we had a great time.

Last time I went to Saint we were told the cover charge was $20. Finding that absolutely ridiculous we said no thanks, and made our way toward City Bar. Why pay a cover when there are plenty of bars without covers within walking distance. When we walked back outside the bouncer or manager (whoever he was) brought us back in and asked if we would pay $10, no, how about $5 still no. He let us in and the place was empty! I don't understand the hype of a $20 cover charge to be so disappointed! We had a drink and left for City Bar instead which was fun.

Pros: Location, interior design, space

Cons: cover charge

Saint is a nice club, especially for Boston; however, they are a bit pricey. Decent space, but the ceiling is quite low. The music is fantastic and the crowd is all right. Beware when using your credit card at Saint; I was overcharged and realized it when my credit card statement arrived.

I usually go to Foundation Lounge or Daisy's, but when Foundation ended up being closed for the night, we decided to try a new club. We said a prayer and decided on Saint. We loved it. My boyfriend and I loved the different rooms, the many bars and tat you can have your space- it's not too crowded. I am coming back. I don't love that there's a cover charge- 10.00, but oh well.

The ceilings are low. The speakers are on stands making them at ear level and for some reason they still need to blast the volume to the max. The waitresses were all wearing ear plugs. That right there tells me few hours in that place will def. cause ear damage. It's near impossible to carry a conversation with someone here.
Oh I also got yelled at for laying down on a sofa/bed when they were open for only 10 more minutes. (what the hell is it there for then?)
Drinks are expensive but that's expected in Boston.
...Also City Search is not doing their math correctly for the overall rating. Overall rating is a 2.67 at the time i wrote this if you count up all the stars received and divided by number of reviews. (56 stars / 21 reviews)

Pros: Good techno music

Cons: Wayyy too loud

I am a young professional in my twenties and have been going to Saint for few years now. I always have a great time; the crowd is attractive, the drinks are good and worth what you are paying for. The staff is always nice to us, and the overall atmosphere of this lounge makes you feel like you are in NY or LA. My girlfriends and I always find it the place to be!

Worst Experience Ever!

I usually go to out to another lounge and order a table and so I did here at saint.
After getting attitude at the door, although I had reserved a table and had a suit on, I got in.
The waitress was rude, she only worked for bottle service and even though I ordered a bottle she wouldn?t bring my party any other drinks.
The attitude on her was bad; she shouldn?t be allowed to work with people.
She gave me back my driving license (after pulling it out of her braw) and it wasn?t mine?.

To get the check at the end of the night I had to wait 40 minutes.
I disputed the tip that was added on automatically.
However I did tip one of the security guards who was nice enough to find her.

I am never going back?too bad, they lost a spender.

They should probably not hire addicts and drunks.

The atmosphere itself is an alright place but beware of putting up a credit card for a line of credit. They will charge more than they tell you and the staff has a bit of attitude.

If you are not on the guest list, don't bother going to Saint. We waited patiently at the very front of the line while the bouncer over and over again let in people who knew people. Once we got in after waiting literally 45 minutes (again, at the front of the line) drinks were overpriced, dance floor was cramped, and the clientele was pretty pretentious. One good thing is they had plenty of bartenders on a Saturday night, so they were always quick to serve you a drink. I'd suggest sticking to the other places nearby on Boyolston St, which are probably just as crowded, but the drinks are relatively cheaper and the people who go there are more down to earth.

I have never experienced such rude employees. The bartenders and bouncers had attitudes and acted like they were working the door at high-end LA club. They showed little respect for women. I have never been spoken to like I was at Saint. This club was AWFUL!

I have been to Saint on Satruday nights and the music is pretty good, but it's AWFUL on Fridays... I went there after work with some people recently. The music was terrible and they had some weird theme night. I went over and asked the DJ to play music we could dance to but he said he was waiting for it to get more packed. I told him the people that are there now were ready to leave because of the music, so he might want to step it up. He continued to play remixed 80's... On top of it, they were charging $20 at the door!!! I got there early enough so I paid nothing, but my friends met me there and had to pay $20. It never did get packed and we left before 11:30 because the music never got better... I'll never go there on a Friday again... And with a $20 cover charge, I'm pretty sure I'll stay clear on Saturday's as well. Gypsy is good on Friday for anyone looking for great music!!!

There should be no cover for a place as terrible as this. Music was subpar, decor was good, bouncers and bartenders are rude. Throughout the night, I could not get a single decently made drink. Bouncers harassed patrons too, as they "interacted with" the crowd. One bouncer I saw kissing a drunk girl as she left the place. Classy.

Honestly, I've always had a blast here. I first found Saint when I was out on a Monday. Everywhere was dead and someone recommended Saint. It was honestly the best place I've been in Boston. Fun, upbeat crowd & Hottest bartender ever.I don't really go out that much but when I do I try to make it here. The crowd is mixed. The cover is a little high, but there are always big groups of people out and the drinks are STRONG. I've never had a table, but the Bartenders are funny and I've seen the same ones over and over which is nice to recognize a face. Almost every time I've been there their has been some type of celeb, I've never talked to one, but it's still fun to know you're in the same room with Justin timberlake or the like. The dance floor is small and it gets crowded fast, but other then that, you can't go wrong.

Sundays & Mondays are see & be seen nights since this is one of the few venues open on those evenings. However, this bar is very strange - the bathroom and lobby are upscale but the main floor is totally trashy. The music is terrible and the dance floor isn't very jumping except for two or three too-drunk people. A very young crowd so not a good place for late 20s/early 30s crowd. Overall, a trashy wannabe cool soon place - yawn!

I am not much of a "club" person but probabaly because I am 30. This was my first time at the Saint and I will NEVER go back unless I am really in the mood to watch half dressed girls get drunk and make fools of themsleves. The bartenders are RUDE, the "living room" smells like my grandmother's basement and the crowd maybe just graduated from high school. The cover charge is outrageous! $20 if you are not on "the list" and $10 if you are. Get there early, not worth the wait in line. The best thing about the place is the music.

This is not the place you'll find $1 shot night. This is not a College bar. Boston has 10,000 Pubs and College bars go find one of those if you can't afford a $15 martini. I love Saint because it keeps most of the amateurs out. The door staff have always been very nice. Getting a table has never been a problem and no you don't have to buy a $2,000 bottle of Crystal to sit down. $350-$550/night for a party of 4-5 is normal and cheap by NYC standards. The service at the table is awful though; the girls have to be tracked down to order another round but they are hot. I always go to Saint to entertain clients and party with friends when I'm in town 6-8 times a year. I have yet to find a better place that is sophisticated, has a mature crowd, good looking and know how to party hard.

This club is good on Friday and Sunday nights(when there is a Monday holiday). The atmosphere is really nice, but be prepared to stand-up all night unless you reserve a table ahead of time. If you reserve a table, be prepared to spend some serious money on a bottle or two, which is mandatory when reserving one. Some of the waitresses are stuck up and not very nice. They are very pushy!!
If you plan on going, make sure you get on the guest list though, because the line get very long, very fast. And, bring plenty of money, the cover is high and the drinks expensive.
The best thing about this place is it usually has good music and the crowd is good.

This place is so far below average, I can't believe I'm even writing a review. It's only because I want to spare folks (who have had the good sense to not try this place out) the disgust and encourage them to continue to patronize other establishments that I do. I have never been so rudely spoken to at any - and I mean ANY, domestic or international - lounge, bar, club... The 'doormen' behave as though it's their job to critique every individual who walks by, much less those who want to go inside. Since I was with some girlfriends who had been there before, I had been forewarned about the 'tudes. They did not do the place justice. Needless to say, we thought better of where we wanted to lay down our hard earned $$.
