I called this mechanic to have my timing belt replaced and was given a $218 estimate. I dropped off my car to have the timing belt replaced and was told it would now cost $876 altogether to have the timing belt and other parts replaced. He also claimed my slave cylinder was broken and there was no way to move my car without replacing it ($200+). I'm not sure how the slave cylinder broke, but I made it clear to him I drove the car to his garage, so it was obviously working. I know I will be staying away from this garage!!!

My wife owns a 1989 VW Cabriolet that could potentially be a money pit. We started going to Mike's Auto when we moved to Wayland in 2006. Our previous mechanic had just given up on finding parts for the car. Mike's Auto was not only able to find the parts in 24 hours, but fix it in record time at great prices. We have returned to Mike's auto for the occasional tune up and the car is running great. Mike's Auto only fixes what needs to be fixed. It is the first time I don't need to worry about paying for unnecessary repairs for the car. I highly recommend this mechanic.

Pros: Honest mechanic. Will fix only what needs to be fixed...
