My wife and kids actually look forward to Sunday mornings at DCN! We really enjoy the casual, relaxed atmosphere, modern music led by a full band, and the practical, relevant messages. Our kids love their engaging, high-energy program too! The church offers two nurseries during the service--one for children to 18 mos., and another for 19 mos. to 3 year-olds.
We try to get there a few minutes after 10 to grab a free cup of coffee and a bagel or doughnut before the service, or just wait until after the service. Come as you are and just be yourself. Everyone is welcome here, and all age groups are represented.
For us, we really appreciate the strong emphasis on families and children with the annual EGGstravaganza Easter egg scramble on Palm Sunday, the four-day KIDSfest theme camp the week after Danvers Family Festival in July, and several other family events during the year.
DCN breaks the stereotype that church is irrelevant and that all Christians are judgmental and legalistic.
