This place was terrible!! I came here to get my hair braided for the first time, and the woman was rude, the cost was overpriced, and she completely tortured me while doing the work!! She pulled my hair so hard that it hurt for weeks on end, and I suffered severe hair loss. When I returned to her salon, TWICE because of the pain, she would not loosen the braids. I ended up taking them out after 2 weeks. My scalp took over 2 months to heal! On top of that, the salon was tiny, dingy, and had no air conditioning, in the middle of the summer, and it was sweltering hot. I truly felt I experienced torture here. I would NOT recommend going to Fallou. There is a much better place 5 minutes away called Intimate Whispers Hair Salon on 676 Salem St. The owner Judy is much more talented and her work did not hurt me at all. She was apalled when she saw the condition of my scalp and assured me the braiding didn't have to be so incredibly painful. In short, I had an awful experience here!
