OK, not great

As with many Sheratons, this one needs a bit of renovation.
The suite was really crappy for a suite, and the only thing I found fancy at the hotel was the lobby.
I would recommend the Westin Copley which is just a few blocks down over this hotel, and the price is usually in the similar range.
They are both from the same Starwood company, so might as well take the better one!

Excellent stay

My wife and I have stayed at this Sheraton twice and had great experiences both times. The city view is fantastic and the hotel location is perfect. We like that you can walk right in to the Prudential Center from the hotel without going outside. The staff has always been very professional and helpful. We will be back again.
Pros: Location, Nice rooms, Good staff

The lobby is beautiful, the room (a suite) was huge and clean. The pool is great and the location is perfect. No complaints at all!

there is even a starbucks there

not much room in the bathroom. beds were nice, foam pillows though. Attaches to shopping. Trolley stop right out side. Easy to find off the e-way. Called Sheraton before my stay and arranged to have free parking. When I got there they backed out and charged me 74 dollars for two nights when there is a self park right next door.
Cons: expensive parking, no longer trust shera

Well appointed

Even though I only spent one night at the Sheraton, it was a wonderful experience. My boyfriend and I were pleased with the layout of the room, the comfortable beds and the prompt late-night room service we received as it was New Year's Eve. The portions for breakfast were more than satisfying.
We did not have the opportunity to use any other amenities, but were satisfied with the room even though it was not one of the pricier rooms.
Looking forward to staying at the Boston Sheraton again.
Pros: Comfortable room, Accessibility, Staff

great location
by morgan164
Within walking distance of the City Garden, Boston Common, Fenway Park and many other must see destinations not to mention lots of shopping and restaurants. I wasnt totally satisfied with the services but have to admit since it was a business trip the $160 a night wasnt coming out of my pocket, which makes it hard to complain. All in all the staff was friendly and the hotel was a nice place to stay. The most annoying problem that we had was with the water temperature. Some times it would take forever to get hot (5 minutes!) and occasionally wed run out. The pool is not as big as their website would have you believe but was still good sized. The people in charge of cleaning the rooms do not deal with room service items. A room service tray from across the hall sat there for at least 18 hrs!
Pros: location
Cons: value

Foundation for a great stay in Boston.
by Dankaran
My girlfriend and I were both very impressed with this hotel, especially considering the relatively reasonable price. The room, while not huge, was very well-appointed. The soft, luxurious bed was a wonderful treat - probably the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on. The view was terrific, especially considering this was not even one of the hotel's higher priced rooms. Also, while we didn't have occasion to use much in the way of hotel services, what little exposure we did have to the staff was very pleasant. Highly recommended.

Good choice
by mh1404
i stayed in 2 rooms here, the first had 2 queens(uncomfortable) & the other (after I was easily upgraded) had a king. they were both nice & clean. the health/swim club is great. However, $6 per day or $10 for the entire stay seems too steep. Get the top floor rooms overlooking the Charles river. Espicially great if you are attending a function @ the Hynes Center. Overall a real nice experience...
Pros: health/swim club, view, King mattress
Cons: Queens stink!!, small bathrooms
