I have been to Stilisti once and had a wonderful experience. The price was very very reasonable compared to neighboring Newbury salons. The "client concierge" was extremely nice and the stylist was wonderful. The space is modern yet very warm. I highly recommend you try this salon. You can book your appointment online and earn points towards services at the salon.

Stilisti is a great salon and I have been going there since it opened. The atmosphere is friendly and casual yet always professional and elegant.
I have been a client of Pamela DeMattia's for almost 15 years for both color and cut and I always get compliments on my hair. I trust her implicitly and have always loved the result. Her cut and color techniques are first rate. One of the great things about Pam is that she always keeps in mind my personal preferences, and then offers her professional suggestions so that I end up with the best cut/color possible. I like to change my cut or color every 6 to 12 months and the days when I go in and say "I'm bored, let's do something different" are always fun. The wheels in her head immediately start turning and she gives me a cut or color that is different enough to satisfy my need for change, but doesn't drastically depart from my general overall style. I have been blond, brown and dark auburn and they all looked great!
Yes, the senior stylists are expensive. But if you can afford it you won't be disappointed. Consider one of the junior stylists as an alternative - they are all great too.
I've been going to Stilisti since it opened and I love it, I would never go anywhere else. Marissa has been doing my hair for 9yrs, she is an amazing colorist and hair cutter. I always get compliments on my hair and people just love the color! Her salon is just great. There is a large screen TV (that is always on), and tea and coffee, and always a snack on the table. I feel very pampered in the salon, the staff is very attentive to any need you may have. The last time I was in I mentioned my sore dry hands, the next thing you know my hands were placed in warm soothing parafin wax. What a treat that was during the cold winter!!! I look forward to my next visit!
Thanks to Stilisti my hair looks the best it ever has in my life! I have gotten tons of compliments already. I am very happy and will be a client forever. Anyone looking for an amazing haircut should have their hair cut there.
I went to Stilisti for the first time today and saw Megan Kelley for a corrective color. I went in with gray roots, and various shades of brown in the rest of my hair from home coloring after a terrible experience the last time I went to a salon. She was very warm and friendly and took a great deal of time with me to make sure that she understood what I wanted. I could not be happier with the results. I will never go to anyone else for hair color and highly recommend Megan. Beautiful salon too, great location.
Pros: Megan Kelley and the rest of the staff were delightful and very skilled
Cons: None
Everyone is very friendly and professional but that doesn't cut it. The salon itself is crowded and without enough seating to sit while waiting which you will do a lot of. You have to wait too long once your hair is colored before you return back to your stylist which in my case was Marissa the owner. My time is worth money too!! They opted to have my hair dried first before cutting just to save themselves time. No, this was not intended to be a "dry" haircut. The attendant loaded my hair with product before it was cut. My color had a visible line from where is had previously been colored at the salon. My cut was just average and on the boring side. After drying then cutting they attempted to restyle. I left the salon with flat, gloppy hair. I hate to say it because everyone is so nice which is why I went back a second time but there will not be a third.
The salon itself is beautiful and the staff is great. However, I don't think anything that I had done was worth $360.00. The $360 included a 20% discount. I had a cut and color. The colorist was great and did use 2 colors, but it is still a ridiculous amount of money. I could go on vacation for that amount of money. If they lower their prices, I would definitely return. There are other places I've been to on Newbury that aren't nearly that expensive.
"They do beautiful work. The salon is modern, clean and ultra-professional which ..."
