Conveniently located in the museum (there aren't any eating places nearby) they serve an excellent lunch here in an attractive outdoor but covered spot. Can get a glass of good wine, too. A little pricey, but what do you expect for a good museum eating place? Gets crowded, so it pays to reserve.

The food in just wonderful. I love going back time and again to see how the menu keeps changing. A must do in Boston especially in the warmer months, but just as fantastic in the winter months.

The Garder Cafe is charming in every way. And now that their patio is open for the spring - even more so.

This truly capped off a wonderful morning at the museum. The food is absolutely phenomenal. I had the quiche w/ salad which was so moist and the side salad was tasty without being overpowerful.
I could have ordered anything off the menu as

To top off a visit to the beautiful Gardner museum, a spot at the cafe is a must. It's a small, quiet space (with a great outdoor patio in the warmer months) with a great lunch menu. The chicken salad is unlike any I've ever had--made
