Ok... Where do I start. We were prompt seated but poorly served. The waitress was nothing short of an idiot. She walked around with a pitcher of water for the better half of the time. We had to prompt our order and when we asked what was

We had our company holiday party at Sel De La Terre and we were very pleased. The service was excellent, the food was delicous and served in a timely manner, and we loved the atmosphere. It's a nice suprise to have such a wonderful place in the Natick Mall.

Sel De La Terre is the kind of restaurant you expect to see in downtown Boston not in the mall in Natick. Serving provencal rustic French food with a New England influence, Sel De La Terre is the best bet west of 128. The service is attentive and the food spectacular, but what really wins us over is the overall attention to detail. Realizing its location (inside a mall) the restaurant has menu items from $5 to $40. The wine list also caters to both high end and affordable. Signature dishes like the Steak Frites and Arugula Goat Cheese salad are always a sure thing, but be sure to try out some of their more adventurous specials when you can.

I've gone here for lunch and after a couple hours shopping in the Natick mall you must go here and try the angus burger with caramelized onions. It is truly something not to be missed. I'm not sure if the other Sel de la Terre locations also serve up this wonderful burger for lunch, but if they do... please do yourself a favor and try it. It's my favorite burger in Boston an I've been to all the other burger joints from Bartley's to Eagle's Deli. This is the best.

Pros: Great food, the burger in particular

Cons: A bit expensive

The past year has brought significant improvements to the Natick area, and Sel de la Terre is part of that change. Food choices out here in metrowest continue to be less plentiful than they are closer to Boston, but Sel is a welcome outpost of its sister restaurant on the waterfront. The food is good and the wine list the best thing happening west of 128.
I always order the creme brulee and anything with scallops...they do scallops particularly well.
Plenty of free parking in the underground garage
