Handy Pros

First off, I don't believe "Handy Pros" to be a legitimate business at all. It appears to be nothing more than a business name registered to a single "handyman". I can't rate him on his work because he never did any. I need some work done that is simple, but quite a lot of things. (I am remodeling part of my home to be a separate living space. I have already drawn up the plans in intricate detail on a 2D and 3D CAD application. When describing what needed to be done, he said to send him the pictures and he would call me right back to discuss and give a general estimate. I send the images to him and not only did he not call me back but when I called back, he indicated he had looked at the pictures but was going to call me back in the evening (of the next day). To me, "I'll call you right back" means within a few minutes, not within 24 hours. In any case, I asked if he had a few minutes to discuss the work to be done and he basically interrupted me and acted like he knew exactly what should be done and he would give me a quote within a couple of weeks. When I asked him to at least indicate what he identified as the work to be done, he mumbled some nonsense that was unrelated and said, "perhaps we're not a good fit." Damn right you're not a good fit -- you're unreliable, unprofessional, and based on what the other reviews of your work indicate, incompetent. PEOPLE STAY AWAY.

Handy Pros did some touch up painting for me in a couple of units. The work should have been quick and easy, but for whatever reason Handy Pros dragged the work out. On top of that, they left a mess on the floor and drips on the walls. Very sloppy.
