If you're going to the brewhouse remember to reserve the back room if you want more of a family setting. Their fries are amazing and don't get me started on their BBQ Burger because it is amazing. It's a great place to go with friends to watch a good Chargers game

Ratings_icons Good food but noisy!

Mary O. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 2,425

We like going to the Brew House for dinner and the food is very good, but it is very hard to have a conversation with the noise from the bar. Most people seem to come there to watch the sports shows and drink with their meal, so the noise level goes up as the excitement of the game rises. Prices are reasonable, and there is some parking right next to the restaurant.

Ratings_icons Great deals

This local brew house is a great place to relax after a long day or to have a good night out at. It's got a pretty good design and feel to it, even sporting a fire pit outside which is a plus. The staff there is chill and the service at the bar pretty quick depending on what night of the week you go. If you go Wednesday's from 9pm to close they have half off pints, pitchers, pizza, bottled beer and cocktails which is a great deal. They have a party room where large parties can rent it out for events too. Happy hour runs Mon-Fri from 3-7 pm and is usually pretty busy with appetizers in the $4 range and pitchers going for $10 while pints are $3. If you are into sports they have plenty of tv's for your viewing pleasure and if not you can always just relax at a table or outside. Overall I'd recommend checking it out, get there early for happy hour or be prepared for some long waits.

Ratings_icons Great lunch deal

David H. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 7,446

I went here for lunch and discovered paradise, they got a great Burger which is really really thick so it will make you full and nice, ice cold, beers on tap that all come from the brewhouse or other locals. It has a great location and vibe especially in La Jolla where sometimes places can feel a bit posh. Nice simple wooden decor makes you feel right at home..
