Just horrible. As I waited in the waiting room for my tires & oil change for almost 2hours, I witness the most horrible business ethics. The most rediculous customer service I witnessed was when the daughter by the name of Gidget (in her late 40s) began to make racial remarks to the customers, was calling him names when he came to pick up his car. The owner Rich told her to call the police. All this for a dispute of $6. Unbelievable how they treat customers. Miy main regret is the fact that I did not goto to Yelp to look at the reviews, otherwise I never would gone there. To my defence, I did try to take my car to other auto shops in the area, but this was the only shop that had an opening on a Friday afternoon. They charged more then ither shops wanted to charge, but I had to get it done. Will never go there again nor would I advise others to go.

I have been going to Lucas for the last 2 years and I have had nothing but smiles and happiness. I bring not only my own car, but my fathers, mothers, aunts, brothers, and friends cars to here and they have nothing but positive things to say. I have bought both regular tires and snow tires from here, gotten oil changes and done complete flushes of the various systems of my car. They have talked everything out with me before starting the job, and explained to me exactly what they do.

I've been going to Lucas Tires for years. After a few bad experiences as a new Chicago resident, I found Lucas tire through a friend's recommendation. The environment is clean and comfortable, service quick and honest, and the staff is very friendly.

I've been having just a little trouble with my automatic transmission. It wasn't doing too badly under 10 miles per hour or over 45 miles per hour, but while on main streets it would fight me to change gears and speed up to the speed of traffic. I went to Lucas' garage, and was surprised that they new exactly what the problem was, cuz I sure didn't. Anyway, I'm glad I went there because it makes a big difference to have my car running right. They do good work. I can vouch for that.

Okay, so have you ever had to deal with the most difficult customer?? The demanding one who needs everything for as cheap and quick as possible??? I was like that when I went to Lucas tires and I gotta tell ya, I feel bad about it cuz they're really good people. I recommend them.

My dad has been going to Lucas for years, so of course when I needed tires he sent me to Lucas. I was treated like family. I won't go anywhere else as long as I live in Chicago.

Lucas Tires is a breath of fresh air!!!! I was treated so well by Sandy and the mechanic took good care of my car. (FYI rates are affordable here) Chicago needs more of this kind of personal service.

The best customer service I've had in a very long while. Not only were they friendly and considerate of my time but they were extremely knowledgeable. The employees all came in to check on me, offer their assistance, and to inform me of the status of my car. I would absolutely recommend coming here to get your tires replaced.

I came in right at closing time with an emergency and STILL received fast, friendly and courteous service even though the shop looked like it was still very busy. These guys work hard and they're all great workers.

Best price around the neighborhood! I really liked the receptionist. I think her name was Sandy! She was able to explain everything I needed like the prices, procedures, etc. The technician actually showed me what an alignment is and where the alignment is located by tire. It was nice to get full details and be shown things without having to ask.

I had a flat tire a couple weeks ago and I went to Lucas to get a new one. Everyone there was super friendly and helped me right away. They gave me a good price and finished quick. I thought they were a great tire store and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a cheap tire fix.

After being treated poorly at another establishment on Western for tire replacement, I called Lucas Tires. I reached Sandy and received excellent service which was helpful and honest. She was understanding of my crazy night shift RN schedule. The mechanic staff was timely with updates especially when I added on a few more basic services (changed the air filter, alignment and oil change). The prices were fair. I willdefinitely visit them again when needed.

It was freezing cold and I was at the Auto Zone a bit down the street from Lucas Tire attempting to have my headlight replaced. Cops and other drivers don't like it when you're driving with just one. The young man helping me at Auto Zone tried his hardest but just couldn't replace the bulb. It was freezing and he probably didn't want to keep fudging with it outside. He recommended one of two Auto Repair shops, with Lucas Tires being one of them.

The guys at Lucas replaced my headlight in about 30 minutes and applied the 10% discount for mentioning I saw the place on yelp.

Lucas Tires was A-Ok in my book for what I needed done.

I have been using their services since I moved to Chicago in August 2006. They are great mechanics! The quality of their service is very high (they do everything quickly and tell you all the info), and although, they could seem a little rough around the edges (in the area of speaking manners), I still like working with them! They are MECHANICS for crying out loud! What do you expect? :-D They are supposed to be able to fix a car - fix it well, quickly, and at a fair price...and they do! So, I like them and I feel safe going to them. Besides, they have some of the best pricing in town for the routine maintenance stuff, as well as for major repair. I recommend using their coupons, those could save you a nice amount of money (depending on what you are having done, of course). I personally looked for a mechanic who knows his job, and charges good prices - Lucas was it.
