Picante's food is amazing! I recommend the Super Nachos. It is slightly over priced, and very busy after 2am. However, if you are in the mood to wait, I highly recommend it!

Picante is unique. It's not like other taco joints and it has a lot of personality. I like ordering the white boy tacos and a burrito and sitting out on Division street, enjoying the sweet, heavenly joy that is Picante. Highly recommend this place, if you're looking for the best burrito in Chicago, this is where you'll find it.

Pros: great food, great burritos, what more can you ask for?

Cons: it's not open 24 hours, sometimes closes in harsh weather

This is by far the best Mexican food I have taste! They are very good when it comes to grilling and making sure you are satified. It is a small place, but youy can also eat outside and it is in a very good neighborhood. Bucktown/Wickerpark has one of the fanciest places to dine at and if you are looking for Mexican food quick and easy this is the place to go. The prices are a bit high, but it is also worth it!

The meat was undercooked and I went there twice because you can't really judge a place by a one time visit. Both times, 3 months apart, the meat was undercooked and since I live a block away, I took it to go. When I got home, the bottom of the bag was a darker brown from all the grease used. This place is also over-priced and has almost nothing out of the ordinary or anything that caught my eye to eat. I do not recommend this place not from a one time bad experience, but multiple times.

Pros: Good location and possible drunk food

Cons: parking, food quality, and lack of ambiance

Food was cheap, hot, and tasty. It was 2AM so it wasn't too late. My wife and I were visiting w/ some friends that live close to Picante and after a night beverage consumption, we were looking for a place to grab a snack and Picante hit the spot. This is the type of place people have in mind when using the phrase "hole-in-the-wall".

Pros: Cheap, Hot, Good Salsa

Cons: Obnoxious Drunks

.

excellent hole-in-the-wall local joint. real good burrito, good ingredients (good chorizo), good tortilla. sidewalk seating in primo location - very pleasant. 2 good coffee shops to walk to while your breakfast burrito is being made.
