.

Great Grandma went to ER for Chest pain, she is 96, and she is 100% alert and has 100% of her mental status. They did not treat her that way. They stated they were going to call the family, my grandma stated that we were in the waiting room, no one ever came out looking for us. While we were all in waiting room they called our houses to find us. My grandma stated numerous times we were there in waiting room, but since she is 96, they treated her like she did not know what she was talking about. So for over an hour she was in the room alone and scared, when we were in the waiting room the whole time, finally our Uncle arrived and went to desk, and they said well we have been calling everyone but no one has called. He stated well look all those people over there have been here since she arrived. Yeah they treated this 96 year old lady who is smarter and more alert than the staff, but because of this, they made her 2nd guess herself, they caused her to think maybe she was wrong, yeah great care. This place use to be great, now it is just a business, and don't give a rat's butt to patients or employees, I know for a fact that numerous memebers of the staff, the good ones who care about patients, well they were pushed from their positions and gone. A few remain. But they had know concern about Grandma, they just figured since she was 96, she didn't know what she was talking about. Great care, take care of your patients, know who they are, not what number they are.
