This by far has been the best doctor's office I've ever been to. I switched pediatrics since I felt my son was a walking drug store, once we switched Dr. Perryman was very upset of the fact that he was not even 1 yr old & already given so

My family has been going to Aschinberg's office for over 20 years, and I would recommend them to anyone. We've never had any problems and the doctors and customer service personelle are nothing but nice. They are always very considerate

"Joe", my preschool aged brother, was seen for asthma like symptoms several times over the last year. They prescribed prednisone 3 times, has been on nebulized albuteral maybe once a month, yet still do not want to prescribe longer term preventatives despite the research showing a child with this severity of symptoms should be on preventatives.

He also went in for flu like symptoms. Despite research showing that half of the h1n1 flu cases do NOT show up on laboratory tests, they assured my mom that he did not have the flu and if any of us get sick just to stay home, rather than admitting the truth- they simply do not know AND they do not know if my mom or I have medical conditions that could make this advice very dangerous (I happen to have one).

The front desk staff are rude and rushed. The waiting room is frequently overcrowded, standing room only (much worse than the health department), and they do NOT use face masks on people with suspected flu. When getting Joe evaluated for autism (we needed a referral to a developmental pediatrician- and yes, he is on the autism spectrum) the doctor talked to us told us that he'll "always be a little bit off". Talk about professional. His OT script sat at the nurses station for over a week, and they did not bother to tell us they needed $10 to fill it out when it was dropped off or by phone (my mom had to call them).

Oh, and you'll be lucky if you see the same doctor more than twice in a row (Dr. Claude is actually very good, if you can see him!). Seriously- look elsewhere. The health department is even better than this place.

Pros: Usually can see you in a day

Cons: Crowded waiting room, poor medical care

WOW this practice is terrific. From the office staff to the nurses to the doctors you feel welcomed and cared about. Our questions are answered fully and if we have more questions, they always get back to us so promptly. Dr. Paul, Dr. Di, Dr. Seebruch, NP Carol, Dr. Aschinberg Sr. all listen and are open to dialog. They staff are all parents and they understand parents. They are confident enough to seek new information or referrals if they need it or you want one. They stay on top of the newest medical research. To find doctors that take the time to listen but more importantly trust the parents to know when something isn't right with their child is truly rare. This is the practice to build a relationship with!

Pros: Staff, listening skills, caring

Cons: Exam rooms are a little small if you have more than one child in at a time.

I love Aschinberg Pediatrics. This was mine and my sisters pediatricians office along with my husbands, and some of his relatives, now we are taking my young daughter there too. They have always been great with us THE WHOLE TIME WE HAVE BEEN SEEING THEM. I have not heard anything bad about them or had any bad experiences with them ever! Sometimes you will have to wait for a while but that's only because they are one of the best pediatricians around and they have many many patients. They may not have any toys in theyre office or things for kids to play with, that doesen't mean they aren't a good doctors office, maybe they do not want to spread any bacteria or illnesses. They have separate rooms for sick children & well children which is great because I would not want my child to get sick while visiting the doctors office for a check up. I personally have seen all doctors but doctor Seebruch, and they have all been great to me. Dr. Perryman is they're newest addition and he is my daughters pediatrician, and let me tell you he is great, we love him. Ever since I delivered her he has been very attentive and always listens to my questions and needs, he always spends a sufficient amount of time with my daughter and gives great advice. I would greatly recommnend this doctors office to anyone. As for the lady who said they have horrible customer service, I have never heard anything or experienced anything like that before...

Pros: Great Doctors, Very Attentive, Various Doctors, Separate Sick and Well waiting rooms, Great Staff

Cons: you have to wait a while, but they have alot of patients.

I have been going to this practice for the past 6 years and have nothing but praise for all the docs, especially Dr. Paul. After reading all these reviews I was stunned to read the one about horrible customer service. Anyone who knows this practice and Dr. Paul would be shocked also. This practice is top notch. The last time I was at this office one of the mom's was making a big scene in the office. Interestingly, it was around the same time that this reviewer posted the bad review. If this review was from her than let me tell you that this practice was very professional on how they handled this woman! If you want great patient care then go to this practice and see for yourself

I am the mother of four wonderful children and have come across many doctors. Dr. Paul is my favorite. He and his staff are wonderful people who truly care about the well being of their patients. I would recommend this office highly.

Pros: highy qualified pediatricians, fluent in Spanish

Cons: only one Dr. Paul

.

When I called with my sick child, we were told to come in immediately. When we arrived at office, we went in immediately. Oviously, precedence is given to sick children over scheduled visits. We also have had good specialist reccomended in the past. In all, they do a great job. I only gave 4 stars because (depending on which doctor you get) they may not spend enough time with you.

This is a horrible doctors office. First of all - you will wait forever. Don't plan on arriving early for your appointment. You will wait anywhere from 20-45 minutes passed your scheduled appointment time.
Then, once you are in a room, that's just another waiting room. You will sit there for 10-20 minutes. Finally once Dr. Paul visits you - expect to only have 5 minutes of his time - and mind you - he is not listening to you. He will ask you a few questions, and the tell you what you are going to do. Don't dare ask any questions - because then you'll be dropped from his practice. Horrible, people. However, the only person there who was worth my time seeing was the "check-out" lady. She was always pleasent and sweet to my children. I am not sure why she continues to work with such unprofessional people.

Pros: NONE

Cons: No toys, only a fish tank that your children are NOT allowed to touch - go figure - its a pediatricians office. Painfully long wait time for scheduled appointments.

Dr Paul is a great Dr. My son was born with several health problems. I was going to the Drs. office on a weekly basis. He was compassionate with me as I was dealing with the health problems of my son and recommended me to highly compatant specialists. Dr Paul would ask me to call the office to let him know how the visits went and what the specialists said. He is the best Dr and I would recommend him to everyone.
