I am 57 years old and had been dealing with knee pain for many years. I put off going to see the doctor because I was always so busy I couldn't find the time. When I realized how out of shape I was getting from babying my knee and how many activities I was missing out on due to me knee pain I finally decided to make an appointment with Dr Rezin. He came highly recommended by several of my friends and my personal doctor. What impressed me first was how down to earth he was and then how I could tell right away that he was an expert at what he does. He answered all my questions and did a thorough exam. They had X-ray and MRI right on site and within 24 hours I had the results. It was worse than I thought, bone on bone. No wonder it hurt so much all the time. Within a couple weeks I was scheduled for surgery. I was really worried about the whole process. Major surgery, being put out, the results afterward, being off my feet for a long time, missing work, finding someone to help me at home. I was just plain scared. Thankfully they have you sit in on an hour long presentation to show you what to expect and help you get everything set up prior to the surgery so that afterward it goes as smoothly as possible. I immediately felt so much better and went into surgery knowing everything was going to be OK. I had my surgery at 8am and was up walking in the hospital using a walker by 7pm that night. After three weeks I was walking without any assistance. Now two months later I am back to work and walking two miles at at time with no problems. I can actually say that Dr Rezin and His nurse helped me get my life back. I am back to gardening and have even been dancing again. I always wanted to take up golf and now I plan to take some lessons and see how I do.

I have been going to Rezin Orthopedics for over 11 years now. Not just me but my son when he broke his arm and my wife when she hurt her back. I saw Dr Rezin for my knee and Dr Treacy for my shoulder. My son also saw Dr Treacy and my wife recently saw Dr Kuo for her back. I know it sounds funny but Rezin Orthopedics is my families one stop shop when it comes to injuries to our bones and joints. Everyone is very nice and they do all they can to help you get back on your feet. I go to their Morris office but they have four other locations. I like the fact that you can see the doctor, get an x-ray or MRI, get crutches or a cast put on, have your physical therapy and even have surgery all under one roof. I had my knee surgery at their surgical center and it was an incredible experience. So many people had told me how good the care was at Rezin that I knew I was in good hands and in a good place from the moment I entered the door the first time. Now I recommend Rezin Orthopedics and Vital Care Physical Therapy to anyone looking for the best care out there. I think this group is just as good if not better than any place in Joliet or Chicago. They are really good and they really care. I feel lucky to have such top quality care so close to home. My family and everyone I have ever referred there are living proof of them living up to their reputation.

I have been going to this group for a little over 2 years on and off. The therapists are very good, knowledgeable and friendly. When I see a Dr. I have to say I prefer an MD not the PA. .. definitely recommend.

I recently had bilateral carpal tunnel surgeory. Dr. Ortinau performed the surgeory. He was very professional, but did not so any emotional caring. I had my right hand done first. I had extreme pain and swelling. I felt he did not have the time to listen to me. After the surgeory the only person I saw was his Physicans Assistant. Any issues I brought to her attention were made light of. I have not fully recovered from this prcedure which was done in October. Since my fingers no longer go numb I am hoping the surgeory was successful. As for recommending Dr. Ortinau I would suggest seeking out someone with a caring attitude. Treat patients as people not just a number.

PROS: First Class Facility
CONS: Care is not very personal.
