Linda has been my stylist for over ten years. I have very thick hair and with her precision cuts, she always creates a masterpiece. I am a working professional and I have a one year old daughter at home. So needless to say, I need a sophisticated cut that I can turn around and recreate in a short amount of time. Linda is the best stylist in the city and I highly recommend her salon.
Pros: excellent cuts & colors, flexible hours, convenient location
Cons: None

A friend of mine referred me to Linda at Blade, and I am so glad that she did. As a busy professional, not only do I have to look good, but I do not have the time to spend searching for the right hair stylist. I can safely say that I have accomplished both. Linda is obviously a very seasoned and skilled hair stylist and colorist. But what impressed me was how she listenend to what I wanted, while still giving me a modern look that I have never been able to achieve with any other hair stylist. I can't even count the multitude of compliments that I have received, even from perfect strangers.
I highly recommend Linda and Blade. The salon itself is a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to my next appointment.
Pros: Excellent service, skilled & knowledgeable, great atmosphere
Cons: None

I've got very curly hair and in the past that has meant dowdy looking cuts from stylists that did not know how to give my head of hair a cutting-edge look. That has changed now that I've found Linda. Finally, I have a cut that is very stylish and very current. Linda takes her time and makes sure your hair is perfect before you leave. You'll love her. I've heard great things about the other stylists working for her as well. You've got to try Blade!
Pros: The stylists are perfectionists.

Great salon, always friendly, place is amazingly clean and the hair cuts are the best I ever had. I was a bit hesitant to leave my barber at first but after the haircut I got from Linda I was sold, and have not looked back since.
I would Highly Recommend Blade Hair Skin Body to anyone that wants a superb haircut!!!!!
Pros: Best haircut in town!

Lexi has saved my life with her micropoints after I had some loss of hair due to illness. I now have undetectable hair extensions ON TOP of my head and not a soul knows. I can again face the world with confidence. Thanks Lexi!
Pros: Great personal attention. Awesome service!
Cons: none that I am aware of.

I've been going to Alison for few years, like 3 or 4. She's a great stylist, very confident and really good at working with you. At this point, she can do whatever she wants with my hair b/c it always turns out great! If you are looking for a great hair cut, you have to come see her. She makes a difference and it's worth it.
Pros: Easy, low key, stylish without pretentious swank
Cons: you have to practically beg to get a head massage

Linda Licocci has been cutting my hair for 17 years. I have followed her around the city. Her beautiful new salon has been worth the wait. Linda is a master of color and cut. She is an artist. I get at least weekly compliments on my hair from someone I do not know. I love going to Blade!
Pros: full service salon, experienced stylist, colorist
Cons: parking during a Cubs game

Linda really gets it when it comes to cutting my hair. Short, long, a little off the top, don't cut the bangs too short, let's have some fun with it - she does it all by listening to what I want and making it happen. The salon space is low key and fun, parking on the street is easy most of the time. Linda's a great gal and keeps me looking great, too!
Pros: I get so many compliments on my hair!
Cons: None

I went to Linda for 16 years before I moved from Chicago and still miss her skills 5+ years later. She always knew what would work the best with both my hair and personal style and even refused to do something once that would have been a disaster. In hindsight I was very glad she did!
If only there were a Linda in Los Angeles...I miss her and her cuts!
Pros: I always looked great!
Cons: none

When I moved back to Chicago after a couple of years away, my real estate agent recommended Linda's newly opened salon. What a find...excellent sense of style, consistent cuts, totally attentive care. Linda is a true styling talent. She gets it right every time.
Pros: Consistently excellent cuts and hair care
Cons: Can't think of any con except Lake View parking

I had a facial done by Amy and I absolutely loved it! It was so relaxing and my face felt very refreshed afterwards. She was very professional and explained to me how the products she used would benefit my skin. It was so nice to relax and unwind since I am a working mom. I highly recommend her facials!!!! I loved it!

I had my makeup done by Amy for my cousins birthday party. She did a great job selecting colors that complimented my outfit. Her technique in applying the eye makeup was one that I never would have thought of myself. The result was great. I kinda felt like a superstar. Plus it lasted all day. I recommend Amy for any specail occasion makeup. I'll be seeing her again for my next party! Thanks Amy!!!

I have been seeing Linda Licocci for years, I've witnessed Blade transform from a budding seed to the blooming blossom that it has now become. Both Linda and Alison are truly talented hair artists that pay careful attention to the health of each individual client's hair as well as the style. I've gone through various looks: long and curly to short and straight, most colors of the Goldwell color-chart spectrum, even green, each one Linda has pulled off beautifully. I get compliments on my hair all the time, the credit is 100% hers. I doubt that you'd ever leave Linda's chair not LOVING your haircut. A hair salon is typically a busy atmosphere with all the scissors snipping, clippers buzzing, blowdryers blowing, gossip talking etc, etc. There is something about the effortless yet beautiful feng shui of Blade that creates a relaxing and welcoming environment. Bottom line, if you haven't tried Blade's services at least once in your lifetime, than you can't accurately judge how good a haircut experience can be.
Pros: Attention to healthy hair as well as great looks.
Cons: Can never make it look as good as when Linda styled it.

I have a head of curly hair and Linda does an amazing job styling it! She has transformed my once stair-step choppy layers into long beautiful multi-layered curls. I ventured out to highlights (which I had not done since high school) and was very pleased by the result. It made my hair look warm and highlighted the curls nicely. I have been going to Linda ever since I moved to the city (2 years now) and will continue going back. She's professional and very friendly. She will take time to make sure you are pleased with the result.
Pros: attention to detail, professional background
Posted 08/09/09
Being a natural redhead, I was nervous to have any color added to my hair. Not many people can work with such color and make it look real. ( If you've ever looked around the El, you know there are a lot of girls out there with really bad fake red hair). But Linda nailed it. She listened to what i was hoping for and translated it into color masterfully. She added the richness back into my natural color in a way that is both distinct and subtle. I love it. Trust me, if she can rock red, there's no color she can't nail.
Pros: Comfortable Vibe, Friendly atmosphere,
Cons: None at all

Linda has been wrangling my increasingly grey, demonic, "lots of" wavy/frizzy hair for 10+ years. I need to be able to blowdry it out, air dry or scrunch, pull back in pony tail or braid all while having some sort of style. She also is a very good listener and knows when to introduce more "excitement" or "trends" without pushing me too much out of my comfort zone since I need to live with it every day. I always get compliments! On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best, I give Linda/Blade a "12"
Pros: Talent, soothing environment
Cons: None

I went to Linda after searching for a new stylist, she gave me a great cut after listening to what I wanted. She incorporated that with her skill and I love love love my new cut. A Perk was that I was at the salon on a Thurdsday and received a complimentary make up touch up.. which was perfect as I was meeting my husband for dinner after my appointment..
Pros: Professional Stylist... who listens to what you want
Cons: can't think of anything

I did not know that my first visit to Blade -over a year ago, was going to make me a big fan of this awesome salon. Since my first haircut until now, Linda has showed me that it is possible to achieve what most hair stylists would always tell me was impossible: A perfectly polished wash and wear style. She is an amazing artist that knows how to work with every hair texture to make the most of it with beautiful results.
If you are not sure where to go, give Blade a try. You are going to love it!
Pros: Relaxing atmosphere, incredible artists
Cons: None

Blade has been a terrific find for me. Linda is just a fantastic person and has made me look and feel better.

Linda Licocci has been cutting and coloring my hair for 20+ years. From city living to suburb living to now living 2 hours away -- Linda has done my hair! Color or haircut -- I ALWAYS get compliments and "who does your hair" and feel great about how I look. . What I like most is sitting in the chair and letting Linda take the lead. Her professionalism and artistry is second to none -- particularly with color. I look forward to my next visit so that I can hear the latest and look my best when I leave. Blade is an AWESOME salon -- great parking (right outside the door), relaxing environment and a great place just to sit a read a magazine! Blade also offers full skin care services which I have taken advantage of. Linda's colleagues at the salon deliver top notch services as well -- only the best from Linda and Blade!
Pros: The Results, Salon and Linda

I have been a Linda convert since 1992. I have followed her all over the city and am happy she has her Blade! Linda is the most talented and creative person-- from her personal style, her singing to-- of course-- hair!! I can't say enough. I moved out of the city to the 'Burbs in 2000 and always made the trip for Linda. I had my 2nd child in 07and "my time" went on the back burner and I went to a stylist 4 minutes from my house-- but no more. I was just at Blade and got a highlight and cut. My husband said it all. When he saw my hair he loved it and asked who did it. I proudly said Linda! He said I thought so! Women -- and Men-- you deserve the Best and Linda is the one! Don't hesitate any longer.
I can't wait to go back! I just sit in the chair and do not flinch to let Linda do what she feels like-- I am never disappointed. Thanks Linda! (Plus I just met Amy, the makeup stylist. She is adorable-- gave me a makeup touch up and made me look "Wow!") See you both soon!
Pros: Linda is fabulous with cut, color and OMG-- the styling!!
Cons: I don't go to her often enough!

Alison is the ONLY one I will ever let touch my hair. She is not only friendly and professional, but makes all the other hairstylists I've ever gone to seem like amateurs. She is up on what is hot and current but is also fantastic at traditional styles and cuts. Honestly, whatever you want she can do. Not only do, but do better than anyone else. I can not say enough or recommend her enough! And if you ever have her blowdry your hair (ladies)? You will never want to dry your hair yourself again! Magic! She is genius! I am so grateful to have found her!!! If you haven't made an appt with her yet, do! You will be glad you did!
Pros: Professional, current, best hairstylist I've EVER had!!!!
Cons: not one
Posted 04/28/09
I get my haircuts by Alison. She is great. Very methodical and nice. I don't feel like she is rushing me to get out of the chair. The salon is very accessible. There is always parking available. It has a very warm and inviting atmosphere. Definitely give Alison a try. You won't be disappointed!
Pros: Relaxing atmosphere
Cons: Can't think of one!

Linda Licocci makes me look great. I know whatever she does with my hair -- color, highlights and haircuts -- are hip and chic. She is UNCANNY at being able to look at me and figure out next steps. So I sit and sip tea and let her go to town. I moved here in August '92, and since finding her in November '92, NO ONE ELSE has touched my hairs. And a nice addition? Linda is fun, funny and sooo incredibly kind and warm. So is Blade -- just a warm terrific place to chill out. Great cosmetics, too! Try their lip sticks and gels especially!!!
Pros: Linda can "see" a haircut or change and just make it happen
Posted 04/11/09
I had long thick asian hair, it was at the point where I didn't know what to do w/ it anymore. I was ready for a change, a drastic one. I searched around for a stylist that I could trust to make this change happen, but wan't feeling too confident, until my friend recommended Blade. I read some reviews and was convinced this is THE place. I have to admit, before going to my appointment, I began to have second thoughts, as to whether I should make such a change with a salon I'm visitng for the first time. I thought, ok maybe I'll just go in for a trim, and see how I like it. After meeting and consulting with my stylist, Linda Licocci, I had no doubt...go for it, let's chop it off! Her extensive training and experience really shows. The result was an awesome cut and gorgeous color! It was beyond my expectations. Linda's cuts and color make the "growing out" stages of my hair continue to look great (no strange in between, let's keep my hair in a ponytail stages). Since my initial visit, I've been back numerous times, and will continue to go. I can't see myself going to any other salon. I've received many compliments on my hair, even from strangers!!! Thanks LInda! =)
Pros: Cut, Color, Style!
Posted 04/11/09
I have had a series of horrible hair cuts and was in dire need of a good cut. I went to Blade based on the reviews in citysearch. I described what I wanted to Linda: something a little funky, easy to maintain (no mandatory styling), 'strong' bangs. When I left, I felt like my hair was more polished than I wanted. BUT, it's been a week now and I love it. Not because I got used to it, but because once I washed my hair and (not) styled it the way I said I would, it was PERFECT. I've gotten compliments aplenty. My partner says 'I love your hair' spontaneously. If you're in the over $50/under $100 market, do it.
Pros: good at figuring out what you want (even if you're not that great at expressing it)
Posted 02/04/09
You have to deal with your hair every day, so I believe in getting a good haircut. I moved here in 1990 and Linda Licocci was the 2nd stylist I visited. I am very thankful that I have been able to continue as her client for 18 years. She'll listen to your wants and concerns and give good advice. I have fine, straight hair and Linda knows how to give it body and color.
I highly recommend Linda and Blade in general. I can also recommend the facials and make-up consultations.

Linda Licocci is a master hair stylist and colorist. She has adapted my hair style over 12 years and matches the style to my ongoing needs. Blade's climate is warm and accepting. Linda is a comforting presence, and you always feel that you are in good hands. Blade Hair Skin Body, led by owner Linda Licocci, is a five-star salon well-located near the Paulina CTA station. Try it and you will be become a devotee. Virginia Noyes, loyal customer.

Linda is the real deal. She has been cutting my hair for over 15 years and always does a great job. She really understands how to work with my thick, wavy, curly hair (before Linda, I went to at least two other stylists who said they knew how to cut my hair, but didn't really know what they were doing). She has always focused on me as an individual and I know she does the same for all of her customers. I need my hair to be long enough to put up when I run and unlike many stylists who think they know better than you do and ignore your wishes, Linda listens to me.
When I go to Blade for a haircut, I always admire everyone else's haircuts, too, which I've always thought is a sign of a high quality salon.
Pros: Linda is an amazingly talented stylist
Posted 10/24/08
Thank you Linda for my haircut! Honestly, I love it! My husband even commented on how cute and sassy it looks. He never comments on my haircut or color. AND.. this is a true story, when I left your salon today, I went to visit some customers and got compliments from them on my hair.. Thank you again, and I will be back!
Pros: Linda and Her Skill
Cons: Nothing
Posted 10/16/08
I've been going to Linda for over 15 yrs. She's an amazing hair artist. She really understand hair, and she teaches you how to handle it as well. She even picked up a special brush for me. I have very thick wavy hair and Linda has no problem with it. When she's done with my hair, I look and feel like a movie star. Tonight, when I walked in the door, my husband grabbed the camera and snapped a bunch of photos. I carry Linda's card with me in my wallet, because I am asked so often as to who cuts my hair.
My husband had no idea I colored my hair until around our 3yr. wedding anniversary. That's how good she is.
I have Linda on my speed dial. Not only is Linda an amazing hairdresser, she's an amazing person, and I really enjoy my time with her. Do yourself and your hair a favor - look no further. Pick up the phone and call her. You won't be sorry. Oh, book an appt. at the same time with Amy. She waxed my eyebrows as well, and they look fantastic! Last, don't overlook her shoes - she's got the most amazing collection of
platforms.
Pros: Linda, Linda, Linda, parking, location
Cons: none

I am writing to let others know about Blade and how fantastic the services are. I got my wedding hair and makeup done here and the attention to detail and results were fantastic. The salon is easy to find, a very relaxed, inviting atmosphere and they offer a complete range of services to fit many needs. Linda (the owner) is a fantastic stylist and really works with you to create a cut and color that looks great and that you can manage. I have difficult hair (wiry texture) that is hard for me to manage. Linda gave me a look I can do myself and showed me how to style it and protect it with the right products for me. I felt great and appreciated the special attention. I am a client for life and highly recommend that anyone try this salon - the service is impeccable and the atmosphere is welcoming!

A friend recommended Linda Licocci (owner of Blade) when I first moved to Chicago. It wasn't in my neighborhood, so I was a bit reluctant but let me tell you - people STOP ME on the street to comment on the great color and cut!!! People who have known me for years say it's an amazing transformation. Linda is an amazing colorist and the style she's given me, my sisters, my best friends - all transformational and so great. She is the nicest person to boot. Treat yourself to the best color and cut you've ever had!
Pros: the best color and cut around at reasonable rates
Cons: none!

Mark Linenberg is a fabulous stylist. He's done my hair for several years and I've always been very happy. Random people stop me and compliment my hair, at least twice a month. That's never happened with any other stylist. For me, he develops truly flattering styles that are unique and edgy yet don't overwhelm my personality or look out of place. He helps me look like the real me, the 'me' I want to project.
He knows my habits and understands the amount of effort I'm willing to put into styling my hair every morning. I'm very active in the summer, so he keeps it simple and easy to maintain but still really attractive and fun. Even when I just didn't feel like bothering with my hair last summer, I could use minimal product and NO blow-drying, and my hair just fell into place. For a woman with no interest in curling irons, I absolutely love that! During the winter, I'm willing to spend more time on my hair, so he amps it up.
He suggests products but doesn't push them on you. And he is on time. On the few times when he's still with a previous client, I've waited less than 10 minutes before he's ready for me.
My advise is, make an appointment, tell him who you are, where you work, how much time, effort, and product you're willing to use for your hair, then let him create!
Pros: easy access to parking and the Paulina L stop

Linda Licocci of Blade is not an average hair dresser, she is a hair artist! She takes great pride in every haircut and style that she does and I love that she is a perfectionist. At the end of my session she always has given me exactly what I wanted (easy to style, trendy, sophisticated, etc.) in a head turning haircut.
I was lucky enough to discover Linda before my wedding over three years ago. She did an amazing job for me, my mom, my mother-in-law to be and my bridesmaids on my big day and I have been a loyal customer ever since. All of my friends and family members that I have referred to Linda won't use anyone else after going to her. Just when I think she has given me her best cut yet, she outdoes herself next time.
Pros: Linda, Linda, Linda
Cons: none

I'm not sure there are groupies for stylists but I'm going to coin myself one of Linda Licocci, owner of Blade. I have been following Linda around for years and will never let anyone else in the city touch my head. Like other reviewers have mentioned the salon itself has a very calm, soothing and unpretentious atmopshere. Parking is a breeze with meters out front or just further north on Ashland there is all sorts of free street parking. I have never had any products or services pushed on me and many times have been handed lots of free samples to try. As for Linda, my husband and I (who also goes to Blade now and adores her) both refer to her as the Wizard because she is truly gifted and her skills as a colorist are unmatched and almost magical. There has never been a time after seeing Linda that I haven't been stopped on the street by strangers inquiring about my hair. I let Linda do whatever she wants with my hair because I simply trust her that much. I like to step out of the box with both cut and color and if you are open to change or experimenting, let her work her magic!!! Her creativity flows and you will truly get a unique look perfectly suited for you!! On the flip side, you would never be forced into something you were not comfortable with and Linda takes lots of time understanding the goals you have for your hair and the limits to which you will go. Appointments are easy to get, with Linda being very accomodating, even on short notice. She's very timely so you never have to wait and in general her scheduling is done so that nobody is ever waiting on you, making you feel rushed or that you're not getting her total attention. One of the best things about Linda is that she wants you to be completely happy, so if you got home and something wasn't working for you, one call is all it would take for you to come back and she'd fix whatever you didn't like, which is very, very rare. A million stars for Blade and a billion for Linda Licocci!!
Pros: Linda Licocci
Cons: That Linda can't come home with you and do your hair every day.

Linda Licocci at Blade has been my style guru for more than 15 years. I have followed her faithfully through four other salons, and celebrated her latest accomplishment - starting BLADE. This salon is beautifully decorated, there's great music all the time, art on the walls, and Linda provides service with a personal touch. Linda is a gifted colorist and her haircuts last! Over the years I have received many many compliments on my hair....and had multiple friends pick her up as their stylist.
Linda creates a welcoming atmosphere, and she really listens to what you want. I have never been disappointed with a cut or color, and I'm often surprised at how her haircuts 'develop' as my hair grows. I am hooked!
Blade carries a terrific selection of high-end specialty hair products, which are worth a look. The location is excellent, with easy parking.
Linda has many male clients as well, who always leave looking really sharp.
Pros: colorist and cut skills; location; overall experience
Cons: there are NONE

My life has had its ups and downs, but in the last 10+ years my hair always looks great thanks to Linda Licocci. I've followed Linda to four different salons and will continue to do so as long as she's in the business. Luckily she's now settled down in her own salon, Blade. The atmosphere at Blade is great: easy to get to (and easy to park!), and a stylish, comfortable environment that's NEVER pretentious. Before meeting Linda I went from stylist to stylist, never quite satisfied. Now I wouldn't even consider letting anyone else touch my hair. Everyone I know asks me who does my hair, and no one short of my mother would guess that this is not my natural color-- that's how good she is! She never lets my look go 'stale', and constantly updates my cut/color to stay current without going too far. I trust he so much that I simply sit in her chair, and let her do her thing. In addition to being an absolute master at her craft, Linda is a lovely person who makes me feel welcome and appreciated. And I ALWAYS walk out the door both looking and feeling great.
Pros: Linda is an absolute master! The salon is stylish & comfy, but not pretentious
Cons: None

Linda Licocci at Blade has been cutting and coloring my hair for nine years, and I never stop getting compliments from friends, co-workers, and even strangers! A true professional, she's up on all the trends but will never force something if you're not comfortable. Linda has a very large and dedicated client base and works by appointment only, but she's super accommodating and will work hard to fit you in. The salon itself is beautifully and comfortably furnished, stylish but not fussy, and conveniently located (close to Brown Line, or easy to park). They offer a great selection of premium hair/skin products, but there's absolutely no sleazy or pushy sales pressure like at so many other salons. If I could give Linda and Blade six stars here I would.
Pros: Perfect cut and color EVERY SINGLE TIME. Great service, nice environment.
Cons: none

Linda Licocci has been "in charge" of my hair color and cut for the past 5 years. During this time, she has not only given me great color and style, she has also imrpoved the overall condition of my hair. Having my share of hair challenges - straight, thin, and gray - Linda has taken what there is to work with and truly made it work and be the best it can be. I travel in my work and attend many meetings all over the country and I frequently get compliments on my haircut. On a few occasions, people have taken a photo so they could show their stylist what they want. No one ever suspects that I am completely gray because the colors Linda creates are absolutely natural looking. I love being able to let Linda do whatever she sees my hair needs at the time. I always like the result and have the confidence to let her be "in charge" of my hair.
Besides being a great stylist and colorist, it's also always a pleasure to see Linda. She's one of the warmest and friendliest people I know. I travel a long way to see Linda - it can take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours depending on the time of day - but I have no intention of making any changes. When Linda's done with me, I leave looking and feeling great!

I've been a client of Linda Licocci's for over 11 years and she's always done such a superb job that I've even gotten stopped by complete strangers asking about my stylist. She takes such pride in her haircuts and coloring that you know you are going to look fabulous. I love the new salon, Blade, which has such a hip yet relaxing feel. Be prepared to be pampered and looking great!

Linda Licocci is fabulous with my color and cut! She has been doing my hair for over 10 years and I trust her completely. She also did an amazing job creating the new salon space. It's hip, inviting and comfortable! This is definitely one salon and stylist to add to your favorites list.

She has cut, colored and styled my hair for special occasions and each time I walk away pleased with the result. She always gives me her undivided attention. Over the years, Linda has always suggested new styles never steering me wrong. I have referred her to many friends who have now become long standing clients as well.

I searched the city over for a great stylist and colorist and finally found the best with Linda at Blade! Linda styled my hair for my wedding day and Sonja did my makeup and it was worth every penny! My photos prove it and I've had lots of people ask me who did my hair and makeup because it stayed put and looked fresh all day and evening. Linda is very flexible with her time and will bend over backwards for her clients. She is great at suggesting ideas too if you want a new style. There's always parking nearby (and a starbucks within walking distance). Blade's decor is hip with great art photography on the walls. They also serve beautiful hot tea in the wintertime and a refreshing sparkling water in the summer. Linda has great taste in music (as a musician herself) so there is always great music to listen to and she wears the coolest shoes! Great salon if you're looking for a hip place but don't want to pay for parking downtown. Fair prices on services and great products.

I've been going to Linda for over 10 yrs now. She goes out of her way to make my
hair always look "wow" You know you have a good cut when people come up to
you and ask who cuts your hair. I love telling them who and where she's located

Linda has been cutting my hair for about two years and just recently she's been highlighting it. I've never been disappointed with my haircut - when I say don't cut my bangs, Linda doesn't cut my bangs! Her cuts are precise and always fit my face. She's a natural talent.
I trust her with my highlights, too; so much so I just say do what you want. In the summer we tend to go lighter and brighter, for the fall/winter we may go a bit darker. Overall, I've been impressed with her intuitive abilities to know what I want. Linda's great! I couldn't be happier.
Pros: Parking is surprizingly easy, I ususally park on the street. Nice, casual atmosphere, peaceful space.
Cons: None

Linda Licocci is the BEST colorist in Chicago. She is truly gifted at recommending and applying color process. She's also an expert at precision cuts who provides a high level of attention to detail and always takes extra time to get the cut just right. She does wonders with my long, thick, course hair. The atmosphere at Blade is comfortable and soothing and the location is convenient with easy to find street parking or a block from the brown line EL stop. With the recent addition of waxing and facials, it's an excellent one-stop-shop salon.
Pros: Excellent color and cuts, flexible appointments including late evening, fair pricing, easy parking or public transit access.

Linda has been cutting, styling, and coloring my hair for 15 years and I have never been disappointed, bored, or misunderstood. She takes her time and listens to you so that when she does your hair, she's doing YOUR hair and creating a style that truly fits YOU. I have changed lengths, cuts, and colors over the years and I am always amazed at how Linda gets it - she really shares my vision and makes the right choices so that it works for me. Of course, it helps that she is really good at what she does, especially in cuts and color. I went from a dark brunette to a perfect blonde in just the right increments and with gorgeous color all along the way. Linda is caring and gentle in her honesty about what she thinks will work and what won't and so far, in 15 years, she's never been wrong. I always leave feeling as if I'm her only client and her most important one. Blade is a beautiful shop and I love going there - you will, too!!
Pros: Beautiful shop, personal service, experienced and talented stylist
Cons: none
