I hate Xsport Fitness, but not just the one in Libertyville. I hate their policies. I tore my achilles tendon while playing basketball at their facility. So, i wanted to cancel my personal training sessions, mainly because I couldn't walk, and they wouldn't do it. They told me I had to have my surgeon right a letter explaining why it was that I couldn't continue with my personal training sessions, then write my own letter explaining the same thing, sign it, and then mail it to the corporate office. I, of course, thought this was rediculous considering I was carried out of the club on a stretcher and put into an ambulance right outside the club. Also, I can't drive because of my achilles but I mailed it in anyway. Come to find out that the woman at the corporate office gave me the wrong address in Arkansas, so I had to repeat the process all over again. They also kept charging me $74.00/mo. for these sessions i'm not attending while i'm dealing with this non-sense. They have no compassion for their members, all they want is the all mighty dollar and they will make it as difficult on you as possible to make sure they keep getting the all mighty dollar. I suggest going to your local rec center to excercise because these big chain places are exactly whats wrong with America. Long story short, i'm still waiting for them to cancel my training sessions and I keep getting billed. When this is finally figured out, if I don't get reimbursed my full amount for these sessions, i'm going to sue XSport Fitness for punitive damages and emotional distress.
