After my daughter's PCAT exam, she was starving. She wanted to try a new filipino restaurant so we went to the Little Quiapo. The food is very good. The staff are friendly and service is fast. the prices are reasonable. The desserts are appetizing. I will recommend it to my friends especially for parties and get-together.

Husband & I like to try ethnic cuisine; mostly liked the food (Cuban, Peruvian, Guatemalan, Indian - north & south, Thai, Korean, Japanese, all kinds of Chinese, Turkish, Persian, Ethiopian...LOTS of nice lunches) but either cuisine doesn't suit us or this place doesn't make good food. Got the buffet & sampled a lot of different items...mostly bland, some yukky. Underlying vinegar/fish sauce taste & not in a good way. Maybe a little tamarind in some things, but generally underseasoned. Tried adding salt & pepper from the table (no hot sauce); I tried combining stuff on my plate - you know how you do toward the end of a meal. But we were both way underwhelmed. Also, when they brought our pop it was in a can at room temperature. PLUS, for the two of us it was $26.00! For bland rice & tough beef! So...Filipino food, not so much.

Pros: seemed authentic, everyone was polite

Cons: not very tasty, not a good value
