This is the first and only gym I have been to after college and I love it. It's 24 hours, there is tons of equipment, and there are tanning beds right in the building. Can't wait to go work out tonight!

First off most of the reviews here are written by people working there so take them with a grain of salt. I've worked out at XSport for a long time but am getting tired of it - always trying to sell you stuff. There is crap all over the placed, taped to the machines, announcements, ... I just want to work out - I've got a brain so if I need to buy something I'll figure out what I need without all the sales/marketing...The machines are good, clean and maintained but some of the staff especially at the front desk aren't that friendly. Maybe its because management is always on their case to be nice or they get fired. They also started asking for your keycard everytime you buy something - even a protein shake - which I think is kind of weird. I just buy my energy drinks, bars, whatever before I go. Too much of big brother for me - you don't know where that information is going to end up especially if your health care company decides to dig into your history to find out what kind of supplements, drinks, etc. you've been taking. Next thing you know they'll cancel your insurance citing "too many redbulls" or some crap like that.
I think its a problem when places get "too corporate".

Nice clean gym, big in size, nice friendly crowd. Equipment looks new. They do have parking which is a nice plus.

Cons: no pool

I've been a member of this gym for over three years, and I think it's a great general-purpose gym. They have lots of machines, and you never have to wait. It can get busy after work, but everyone is there to get healthy and fit, and it's fun.

The thing that most appeals to me is it's not a typical meat market atmosphere. I don't feel self conscious. Everyone is friendly and fun.

They offer a great series of classes at all different times. The instructors are skilled and do a great job. You can try everything from yoga and pilates to cardio kickboxing and spinning.

The gym is somewhat bare bones. They don't have a pool, but the location on North ave does, and you can use that gym at no extra cost. The general membership costs are on par with other gyms. They have an option to pay a year up front for a lower cost, or you can go month to month.

This is a great gym, and I look forward to being a member for years to come!

I live less than 1/2 block away and refuse to set foot in this place ever again. The staff, from front desk to management, is so rude and very unprofessional. There is often a wait for machines and many of the prime classes are not offered at times that the 8-5 working person could attend. Oh some advice to the staff: no one wants to be doing cardio smelling and watching you eat your dinner--try a staff lounge.

they don't don't the meaning of capping membership at this "quality" gym. don't attempt to ever go between the hours of 4-9pm unless you want to stand around and wait to use machinery. it is also extremely over-priced for what you get.
