I called RCM after reading the reviews. I worked in retail for 30 years and I have learned that 1 complaint is not reliable. They came out as promised at the time that was agreeded upon. He did say he had never worked on my specific pool heater. (off the wall brand) He got the job done! Thank you! My pool was at the perfect temp the next day. I think it heated the pool faster than it ever had. I would recommend RCM to everyone. Great service! Thank you!

The review under the "shoddily run business"is a sham .My name is Randy and I have been a technician working for RCM for over 3 years, and at no time have I ever had or seen a customer negleted as that review suggests.I have seen my boss, Bill Ward , go out of his way to take care of or try to please his customers.In the heating and airconditioning business, one cannot run to a service call on a whim,there are scheduled appointments thats have to be met along with incoming emergency calls that are squeezed in between so that everyone can be accomodated fairly and quickly with out prejudice.I was the one to replace the thermostat ,which I might add was done the day after it was installed ... not hunting anyone down! Check out what customers on other review sites have say about us before judging !

RCM Advertises outstanding customer service and excellent workmanship and they mean it. Owner is very demanding of his employees and would never desert a customer unless that customer deserved it.

I have known Bill from RCM for about 2 years now. I can tell you that he continues to educate himself on the products that he sells and installs and all of his employees are educated on the equipment.
I personally have recommended him to my neighbors and he has been installing equipment in their homes. ALL of my neighbors love the quality installs that Bill provided them with, and will recommend his company and services to their friends.
I also know that if there is ever a problem with my furnace that I can count on Bill at RCM to get the job done. I read the negative review and can say that 57 is really not that cold when your furnace is broke, just put on a sweat shirt. I can tell you that when it gets cold people need to understand that business spikes and it is hard to handle all of the calls that contractors receive.
I know that I can count on Bill at RCM for all of my heating and cooling needs. Bill is a person who cares about his customers, and is an honest and caring person. I know that next time I need a service call I will call RCM.

RCM is a very professional and quality business. I have now had one air conditioner put in for our business and a heater this fall for our home, not to mention many maintenances, and they are prompt and curteous. I totally recommend RCM for any and all of your heat and a/c work!!

I have used RCM many times, both in regular service calls and emergency situations. They have arrived on time each time. Once i got a call to say they were ahead of schedule and would I be home.
Wether it is the owner or an employee, they are polite and respectful.

This business is understaffed and the owner does not care about his customers. I paid 6000 for new furnace and air conditioner one year ago. My furnace stopped working, I called at 8:00 a.m. and was told someone would be there in a little while. 2:00, my house is 57 degrees and I call again and am now told it will not be until 4-6:00 p.m. The owner lives half a block down the street from me and would not walk down to see what was wrong with my one year old furnace even though I told him it is 57 degrees and I have a 3 year old in the house. He told me I could call another contractor. My advice to anyone contemplating using this guy is DON'T - the owner OBVIOUSLY doesn't care about his customers and he doesn't have a big enough business to employ enough people to service his customers. When the furnace was installed, the owner made multiple appointments with me to replace the cheap thermostat they put in and completely blew me off several times - no call or anything - I had to track him down.

This is a blatant and vindictive lie. It is also libel. My company was not understaffed the day you called. You called during a sudden cold snap and we were experiencing a high volume of calls. You were told it would be several hours and you may call another contractor as your equipment was protected be an extended warranty We did accommodate you within a reasonable amount of time despite your rudeness. In response to your thermostat, you were given a programmable thermostat that you specified then days later changed your mind. We gave you a free upgrade at no extra charge. My technician was at your door when you requested and you never had to track me down. My records show that it took nearly two weeks to get an appoint with you in order to receive final payment. I never "blew you off" and Cathy, you never had to track me down. I will also point out that your furnace as you know did not fail. THE DAY BEFORE; a child filled your flue pipe with rocks and the pressure switch safely shut the furnace down.
