Horrible. Worst furniture experience EVER. I went in to look at a specific table. The salesman was extremely pushy and breathing down my neck the whole time. I asked questions and he would give me an answer that he thought I wanted to hear. I made him ask another salesman and received a completely different answer. I picked up my dining room set (table and 6 chairs) from the distribution center and took it home. 2 of the chairs did not match the rest of the set and 3 had marks that needed touch-up. I called the customer service number and requested 2 more chairs and touch-ups on the other chairs. They told me that they would only bring me 5 new chairs rather than touch-up the ones I have now. They set my delivery for a Friday. Imagine my surprise when after taking the day off of work, I was told that my delivery was going to be between 5 and 8 pm.

When they finally arrived at 7:30, they brought 5 chairs with scratches and spots missing stain. When I noted this to the delivery man, he told me where I could purchase a marker to touch them up and told me to call and complain via the customer service line the following day. I did this and was treated horribly; told that the RoomPlace would not keep replacing the set if I found issues and that it?s up to me if I would rather go elsewhere. I then spoke to the Department Head of customer service whom genuinely seemed horrified at the service I received. She promised to rectify the situation and promised me a delivery by 11:30 on the following Saturday. Well, Saturday at noon the furniture still was not there. I called and was told that I was not scheduled delivery until after 4pm. They promised that the driver would now be there within an hour and a half. 3 hours later, they arrived with my set. It still has some marks on it but I?m tired of wasting my time dealing with them.

I called back to speak to the same manager whom offered me a $75 store credit. She then offered me a $50 refund. I took that because obviously, they do not care about making me a happy customer. Over a week later and I still have not received the credit back to my card. Buyer beware, don?t shop here!
