When you first walk in you say not to shabby. It's your average coffee-shop/Restaurant connected to hotel. The coffee bar lines are not that long and seem to be going at a fairly fast pace. So you decide why don't I just stick around and have a bite to eat.
The first thing you notice is that the food is over priced. But you say hey it's the location, I mean it is the south side of the loop, walking distance to Solider Field and the Museums, and across the street from Grant Park. So you say why not.
The service is ok but then again, you can tell the service have been over worked. There is hardly a soul there but there are 3-5 server, which tells you there is way to much time on their hands. And they are too slow because face it, people don't work as fast or has hard as when they are not constantly at a go, go, go like most restaurants.
The food is excellent when their top Chief Sam is there. He mixes and blends all the right herbs. My favorite dish is the pork dumplings. But when Chief Sam is not their the food service takes way too long. It's as if no one cares that food should not take any-longer than 20 minute and if it does why are you're servers not doing there job to make it seem less long.
The beer selection is alright. And the wine selection is to die for. Just make sure you ask their Manager Aurther about wine because he happens to the only one who really understands what wines go best with what food.
Over all I give it a star because even though the food is decent, and over priced. I get better and more efficient service from a McDonalds.

Pros: Great Location to Bears Game

Cons: Over Price Food

.

Lame and ignorant service. Stupid and repeated questions with obvious answers. Soggy bread for sandwiches. Too expensive for the food they serve. Not worth your money. Do not go there. You have been warned.
