I went to this office for the first time and found that I loved it there. The dentist, Dr Kamra was great. She was honest and professional and I felt completely comfortable with her. I even let her fix my front teeth and they look amazing!! I wouldn't go anywhere else. She took the time to exam my mouth and yes she found cavities but she even showed them to me on this camera. It was truly amazing and I have recommended her to all my friends and family. If you want a great, honest dentist who will really take care of your teeth then you need to go here!!!

Pros: TVs in all rooms and chairs that massage

Cons: NONE

I recently started going to Dr Kamra. I have some problamatic teeth and a major fear of dentists because of so many past bad experiences. So, going to a new dentisit I was nervous off the get go. However Dr. Kamra's proffesionalism and care put me at ease. I had a crown that a past dentist had done horrible work when putting in. I've been holding off for years to get it relapsed since it orginally was such a bad experience having it put in. Dr. Kamra redid this crown for me. The crown came in when I was told and went in to have it put in, however Dr. Kamra did not like how it looked. I though it looked great since my last one was so terrible. To me, it was a great improvement. But she said it could be better. So they sent me off and she reordered another crown. I went in to have the second one fitted and put in and it was PERFECT! I take the time and effort to make sure I am put together at all times, so I really appreciated that she wanted to take that same time and effert to make sure my smile was great and the best it could be. I was also shocked on how quick all of my appointments were. The final one to get the crown put in only took about 20 minutes. I have another tooth that needs to have it's first crown and I am defianetly going back to her to have it done. She is the first dentist that I don't have major anxiety. She puts me at ease. I have already recommend several of my friends to her.

Pros: wonderful work, professionlism and comfort

Cons: office hours were sometimes difficult to fit into my schedule

I highly recommend University Dental Associates. Dr. Kamra was extrememly professional, gentle and helpful. I was sceptical of a previous dentists diagnosis that suggested I needed full-mouth deep root gum scaling. I'm in my 20's and have dilligently taken care of my oral health. Dr. Kamra took the time to fully examine my gums and concluded that I did NOT in fact need this semi-invasive procedure. I truly appreciated her time and honesty. The office was very clean and modern. The support staff were also helpful. In addition to having exams and fillings, I also had a hygentist cleaning. While I already floss dailey, I was given suggestions on how to improve my technique (a first). Thank you, University Dental for going the extra mile to really care about your patients! I highly recommend them.

My past dentist no longer accepted the dental insurance I had. I recently moved to the city, but would go back to the suburbs to see my dentist. This time, I decided to go with a city dentist per convenience. So I made the appointment a month in advance and asked the usual questions (hygentist, etc). They did not have Saturday hours. I took a day off as I had to run a few other errands. When I arrived, I was one of two patients there in the waiting room. The room was relatively clean and neat. I filled out the paperwork. I was shocked to learn that I would not be getting a cleaning. Instead, I would get the xrays and a exam with the dentist/hygentist first to determine the "level of cleaning". I was mad. No one told me on the phone, I had to come in for two appointments. In my past experience with dentist over the years, that I never had to come in twice just to get a cleaning. Cavities or dental work, yes. But not another appointment for the cleaning. I asked the office manager, if I can get the cleaning right after the exam. She said they were booked all day. At the end of the appointment, the dentist recommended a level 2 cleaning and a crown. I did not see the need for a crown because I did not see any cracks in my tooth according to the picture. Because I needed to get a cleaning, I reluctantly made another appointment with them just to get it over with and then I would find another dentist. I headed back a week later for the appointment, only to find out that they did not have me scheduled. After a few minutes of talking with them, I was able to get an appointment for 30 minutes later. While I was waiting, I was told about a copay. I told them the insurance would pay 100% for my cleanings. They said they told me so in the past appointment. I walked out on them and filed a complaint with my insurance. The office manager and the rest of the staff were very rude. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They Cheat.

If you are in budget this may not be the place to go. If you are looking for great care and no nightmares this is your place to go. Dr. Karma really knows her craft.

This dental office was extremely convenient for me, as I live closeby, so I made an appointment as a new customer. When I came to my first appointment, the office was closed!! What a terrible first impression -they messed up their scheduling, and no one even bothered to call me in advance so I didn't waste my time going there. I called the next day and the receptionist was apologetic, so I scheduled another appointment. This time, I was able to see the dentist, and she told me three procedures I "should consider doing", all which are very expensive and not fully covered by insurance. I called my father-in-law who is a retired dentist and now a professor for a highly accredited university. He looked up this dentist and found more than one complaint and infractions citing her for recommending unnecessary dental work in order to increase revenues.
On a positive note, the hygenist who cleaned my teeth was extremely nice, professional, and gentle and did a great job. The dentist was also friendly and professional, I just would get a second opinion before paying hundreds of your own money for unnecessary dental work.

I came into the office and was first struck by how wonderful and confortable I immediately felt. I was greeted by a smiling young woman with darker hair- and then brought back by a very friendly dental assistant. This was my first visit, and I was seeing Dr. Kamra. She was extremely professional and helpful, setting me up to come in for my cleaning appt next time. This time when I went out, there were two women behind the desk and I was checked out by a different friendly tall blonde woman who I believe was the office manager. I would highly recommend this dentist office to anyone I know, because I have been to some very unprofessional offices, and this is NOT one of those. Again, if you need dental work, either general cleanings or anything more I know they have endo and perio available at this office also.

Everything started when I wanted to get invislign it took them over nine months to get my retainers. They kept saying it was invislign's fault. I talked to an other dentist about that and he said "that there was no way it would take that long".It only takes invislign 2 to 3 weeks to get the retainers back to the dentist. Then they asked me to come back to redo my molds for the retainers more then twice. Obviously they screwed up not invislign. At that point I didn't care whose fault it was I just wanted my retainers since I had already paid about 5k for them. The problem then started when I wanted to get a cleaning for my teeth. I made an appointment which I happened to miss and totally forgot about because I had scheduled it about two months prior . Well I rescheduled and she ended the conversation by saying " I hope you don't miss this appointment too". Well for my next appointment I walked in for what I thought was the correct time for my appointment was told I was more then a half an hour late. When I wasn't ! The person who called to confirm the appointment gave me the wrong time. I even listened to message again after I left there. They still made me pay for the appointment even though it was their fault , the dentist didn't even see me . They also told me I couldn't reschedule because I was late for the appointment. The witch of a receptionist told me that I had to call in on my free time to see if they had any openings, then maybe I could come in. I was so mortified I couldn't even say anything after everything I went through to get my invislign and all the money I paid this is how I was treated. I am never going to step foot into that place again!!! And I am going to make sure that everyone I know does the same.
